I have heard so many great things about this Hotel, unfortunately I don't think I can agree. The skating rink, the ambiance, the restaurant, the pool and hot tub were very lovely. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and I am very particular when it comes to cleaning. My only issue was the room, it was one facing the parking lot with the Train noise all night and two double beds squeezed into a small room. I am not sure how that room was selected for me as the hotel was empty and I was not of... Read more

Rooms are not that big but the service staff is great, Friendly and helpful. They saw we brought some fresh fruits from the grocer and volunteered to set up a small refrigerator in our room which came in super handy. Plush robes were a real plus. Did not have a chance to use their pool and sauna as were out siting seeing. Restaurant was fine dinning and very good would definitely recommend. Enjoyed our stay there.

I have been remiss in writing a review but wanted to do it now, even though it was over 3 months ago that we stayed here. It was possibly one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in, often going with the major chains. There was the Fairmount Lake Louise down the road for a much more expensive overnight. The hotel staff on arrival were wonderful, and the room was incredible and clean. There was a fireplace in our room, with the wood already in place, to have a fire. The bathroom amenities wer... This hotel is lovely, the service is good, the amenities are nice and parking is easy, however the restaurant is horrible. We had stopped in here at the end of a road trip and made reservations for dinner, upon making reservations we asked about attire as (like I said) we were on a road trip previously. They stated dressy shorts were fine for boys and dresses for women. My mother and I put on our dresses, and the boys put on their shorts. We were promptly denied access for dinner as they state... What an absolute delight. The scenery was stunning. Every effort had been made to embrace the festive season. This was out best Christmas present ever and we would recommend everyone to stay at least once. The food was exceptional as was the friendliness and service. No fault can be found whatsoever. Our room had a fireplace which was relaid everyday and was such a treat.

Spent 2 nights at the Post Hotel and Spa in Lake Louise. Absolutely stunning setting among beautiful snow covered evergreen trees and extremely well decorated for the festive year end season. They have created a beautiful ice rink that wraps around the dining room - fantastic job! The service is great and the food very good. Our room had a fireplace which was very nice.

We go once a year to the Post to spend a night, experience the wonderful service, accommodation and of course the food. The Wife has a different Spa treatment every time we go and is totally impressed with the quality and Staff there. We usually order the Chef's tasting menu which has never disappointed us. The individual courses appear to be small but believe me when you are done you are full and then some. We also get the wine pairing done by the Hotel's resident Sommelier. Totally fantas... Read more

We weren't able to book on the preferred side because we came on a busy season. The room that we got was close to the area where the cars drive by, so we can't really open our shades. But it was quiet and well-designed. The staff left a bottle of ice-cold champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room, as well as a nice handwritten note signed by the owner. That was above and beyond! You can borrow a bear spray from the front desk if you are going hiking in remote areas. They serve aft... Read more

There are some hotels you stay in, well, to simply have a place to call 'home' while you're visiting a place away from home. Then there are the hotels you stay in simply to experience 'the hotel'. This is most certainly the latter. You may never have heard of the Post Hotel, but it is worth the trip and it's worth staying even one night. They have one of the largest wine cellars in North America (at over 25,000 bottles) and it wins the Wine Spectator Grand Award (highest award given out) EVERY... Read more

The Post is just beautiful. Log construction, beautiful grounds, and an awesome sight sitting beside the river. The sun room is warm and wonderful, and the library is a wonderful retreat with a fantastic fireplace, bar, and chandelier. The restaurant is right off the lobby and has the great ambience and food that you would expect at a world class hotel. The main bar has the requisite mounted game heads and a wonderful fireplace also. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.
