Perfect location to use as a base for day hikes. It was nice and close to shops, a great bakery that carried gluen free items and restaurants in town as well as on the premises. Clean. The only issue I had with the place were the squeeky floors that you can hear all around you. Bring ear plugs. Too bad a simple breakfast is not included in the price.

Room was in need of some repair but was clean. Elevator was not easily found as there was no signage. The grounds were well cared for In a pleasant woodland setting. There are two restaurants on site for dinner. We used the pizzeria style restaurant. Although the menu was limited what was cooked was fresh and very tasty. The waitress provided good friendly service. Buffet breakfast was excellent and again the staff at the breakfast restaurant was excellent.

So in the begining we got a really nasty room, it looked like an army base, on building 4. I don't think they need to put people there. The room had really small queen bed. After 30 minutes there we started to hear strange sounds, like an animal of some kind or mice in the wall. We talked to the front desk (that didn't sound surprised at all) and got another room, in the main building, with one king bed. From that moment on everything was great, the room was really nice and clean, the bed comfy... Read more

Wonderful stay! We had room 5108, ground floor, with a kitchenette, wood-burning fireplace, walk-out to deck and a beautiful view of the mountains. We used the deck every day, either to sit with a coffee or a glass of wine. This was much more affordable than any of the other options in the area and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room. It was very well appointed and spotless and the wood-burning fireplace was well-used and a welcome treat at the end of a day hiking when it... Read more

On arrival at what must be one of the most beautiful hotel settings, we were upgraded to suites which were HUGE! It was great to be able to spread out and put suitcases on the 'spare' bedroom bed for the overnight stay! The view to the park outside the lounge made a great change from some of the previous hotels we stayed in. The only drawback with our suite (# 313, if I recall correctly) was that it was next door to the laundry and I appears that travellers to this of the world do laundry until ... Read more

Rated 5th in a category of only 5 properties, I certainly did not expect much but it turned out to be a very sweet surprise and the only regret (if really any) was that for not having booked for more room-nights. Our family of 4 (with 2 grown up children) sharing a 2-bedroom suite (plus an extra super comfy sitting room and a fairly well-equipped pantry) had more than enough space to share. And, since we have a habit of not eating in, we do not care much about the quality of food in-house if i... Read more

For the very opulent and their companions the Lake Louise Hotel right by the lake may be de rigour; for the rest of us rooms at the Inn will do very nicely. It is only a few minutes drive from the lake and well appointed and quiet. The staff are courteous and efficient and the service is value for money.

We stayed for two nights in a tiny room 4119. This room seemed to be located diectly over the laundry room and was very noisy - constant humming from below. The room was clean though. The Pool area and especially the change rooms were outdated and rather dirty. The staff at the Front desk were friendly but not really knowledgable. We would not stay there again.

The room was dated and the bathroom was showing mold in places otherwise the room was clean. The food was a little pricey but tasted fine, and since there are no other options in town, you had to eat at the hotel. There is no grocery store in the village either, just a variety store that charged $8.99 for a container of orange juice.

We arrived on a bright sunny day  about 4:15 pm. The large reception area was quite crowded with people waiting to check in. When we eventually reached the desk we were told our room wasn't yet ready. With several further twists and turns we eventually got to our suite around 6:30pm. After stopping off en route for hiking all we wanted was a nice warm bath and a meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Louise Inn while we were traveling through to Banff. I think the thing that stood out most about this place is the level of care and attention the staff and management has put into its property. It??s not new, I believe it was built in the late 1960??s, but it has been extensively remodeled over the years and the attention to detail throughout the property and in the rooms. A nice place to stay for Lake Louise. We're three people staying in a one double bed with a pulled out couch. Hence, the room is pretty small. A bit damp, perhaps because it rained the whole day when we arrived there. Clean. No elevator, no microwave but they have restaurants nearby. This was our first trip to the Rockies. Next time, I would choose to stay at Canmore. A charming little town with more economical options, and within reasonable travel distance from Banff and Lake Louise.

Great location for Lake Louise, Morraine Lake and the spectacular scenery to north and west. Small, but functional rooms. Great breakfast buffet. As a couple, we stayed here in high season towards the end of June. The property is clean and fairly well kept. The main lodge where breakfast was served is showing its age - probably a 60's or 70's building with indoor pool. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of items. This facility seems to cater to quite a few mid priced bus tours and can be quite busy first thing at breakfast. The seating area is large, the breakfasts are well staffed but the serving area is bottle necked... Read more

Keep in mind there is limited accommodation at Lake Louise, so it's definitely a "seller's market" all summer long. Most people's budgets are challenged when staying at any hotel in the vicinity. The Inn provides reasonable comfort that doesn't cost the moon. Most travelers will agree it rates as decent value for the money. Plus it does have a year round, indoor pool and hot tubs. Lake Louise Inn is close to Lake Louise, which we came for. Check-in was prompt and the staff was very friendly. Our Room was in building 4. It does not have an elevator. External corridors right next to room entrance means arrival and departure of other guests very noticeable. This is a solid 4 star hotel in which to stay at Lake Louise. It is well situated , just four km. below the Lake. The rooms were excellent in the main lodge which is where we stayed.
