Perfect location to use as a base for day hikes. It was nice and close to shops, a great bakery that carried gluen free items and restaurants in town as well as on the premises. Clean. The only issue I had with the place were the squeeky floors that you can hear all around you. Bring ear plugs. Too bad a simple breakfast is not included in the price.

Room was in need of some repair but was clean. Elevator was not easily found as there was no signage. The grounds were well cared for In a pleasant woodland setting. There are two restaurants on site for dinner. We used the pizzeria style restaurant. Although the menu was limited what was cooked was fresh and very tasty. The waitress provided good friendly service. Buffet breakfast was excellent and again the staff at the breakfast restaurant was excellent.

So in the begining we got a really nasty room, it looked like an army base, on building 4. I don't think they need to put people there. The room had really small queen bed. After 30 minutes there we started to hear strange sounds, like an animal of some kind or mice in the wall. We talked to the front desk (that didn't sound surprised at all) and got another room, in the main building, with one king bed. From that moment on everything was great, the room was really nice and clean, the bed comfy... Read more

Wonderful stay! We had room 5108, ground floor, with a kitchenette, wood-burning fireplace, walk-out to deck and a beautiful view of the mountains. We used the deck every day, either to sit with a coffee or a glass of wine. This was much more affordable than any of the other options in the area and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room. It was very well appointed and spotless and the wood-burning fireplace was well-used and a welcome treat at the end of a day hiking when it... Read more

On arrival at what must be one of the most beautiful hotel settings, we were upgraded to suites which were HUGE! It was great to be able to spread out and put suitcases on the 'spare' bedroom bed for the overnight stay! The view to the park outside the lounge made a great change from some of the previous hotels we stayed in. The only drawback with our suite (# 313, if I recall correctly) was that it was next door to the laundry and I appears that travellers to this of the world do laundry until ... Read more

Rated 5th in a category of only 5 properties, I certainly did not expect much but it turned out to be a very sweet surprise and the only regret (if really any) was that for not having booked for more room-nights. Our family of 4 (with 2 grown up children) sharing a 2-bedroom suite (plus an extra super comfy sitting room and a fairly well-equipped pantry) had more than enough space to share. And, since we have a habit of not eating in, we do not care much about the quality of food in-house if i... Read more

For the very opulent and their companions the Lake Louise Hotel right by the lake may be de rigour; for the rest of us rooms at the Inn will do very nicely. It is only a few minutes drive from the lake and well appointed and quiet. The staff are courteous and efficient and the service is value for money.

We stayed for two nights in a tiny room 4119. This room seemed to be located diectly over the laundry room and was very noisy - constant humming from below. The room was clean though. The Pool area and especially the change rooms were outdated and rather dirty. The staff at the Front desk were friendly but not really knowledgable. We would not stay there again.

The room was dated and the bathroom was showing mold in places otherwise the room was clean. The food was a little pricey but tasted fine, and since there are no other options in town, you had to eat at the hotel. There is no grocery store in the village either, just a variety store that charged $8.99 for a container of orange juice.

When we eventually reached the desk we were told our room wasn't yet ready. With several further twists and turns we eventually got to our suite around 6:30pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Louise Inn while we were traveling through to Banff. I think the thing that stood out most about this place is the level of care and attention the staff and management has put into its property. A nice place to stay for Lake Louise. We're three people staying in a one double bed with a pulled out couch. Hence, the room is pretty small. A bit damp, perhaps because it rained the whole day when we arrived there. Clean. No elevator, no microwave but they have restaurants nearby. This was our first trip to the Rockies. Next time, I would choose to stay at Canmore. A charming little town with more economical options, and within reasonable travel distance from Banff and Lake Louise.

As a couple, we stayed here in high season towards the end of June. The property is clean and fairly well kept. The main lodge where breakfast was served is showing its age - probably a 60's or 70's building with indoor pool. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of items. This facility seems to cater to quite a few mid priced bus tours and can be quite busy first thing at breakfast. Very disappointed with the restaurant at dinner which served a hot meal luke warm - so clearly just being microwaved. And then missing off large parts of the order. Stay at the hotel and eat at pub connected to the Post Hotel opposite. That was lovely!

Lake Louise Inn is in a great loacation just about 5 minutes driving to the famous lake. You can also walk to the small mall of the city. The service was friendly, the installations of the main building are well kept, and the hotel team let me a bottle of wine because I let them know that I was celebrating my anniversary. Lovely crew. However, I didn't stay in the main building. The building #4 is old, the carpet smells mold, and few guests were smoking through the corridors. Inside the room it... Read more

We stayed in a two bed suite and although it was expensive - though this was Lake Louise in August - it was more than adequate, with plenty of room for five and a good bathroom with a hot tub style bath. It's a bit mean not to include breakfast in the rate but we simply got breakfast baps from the Laggan bakery and headed off to the hills. The pool could open earlier. There's a great view of the mountains from the small hill at the back of the property. Note to our American friends: please stop ... Read more

What we expected when we booked. Slightly dated but there is a lack of choice in this area so why would you invest in upgrading. The issue is however not the dated decor, lack of air con in the rooms and general old fashioned ness, but the poor management of untrained staff. The welcome in the restaurant was cold as was the food. The staff seemed to just want their shift to end. A few drinks in the bar afterwards confirmed this as it's really just a hang out for them. If you're looking for an solid place to visit in Lake Louise I have to tell you this is where you should drop off your hard earned money. We stayed for three nights: Mom, myself, wife and son. We booked last September and booked the condo loft. As the date approached I realized I had made an error in my holiday booking at work. Only stayed here for one night as part of a tour and would rate this as average in every way, apart from the location, if you want to visit Lake Louise and stay in the area. I did eat in the bar restaurant and had the fish and chips which once again were average. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the few shops and restaurants that there are. I would not put anybody off staying here but don't expect luxury, just an average comfortable hotel to spend a few nights in.

Very average hotel. Bathroom fan had a nice thick layer of dust on the bathroom fan, ice machine didn't work. Front desk staff didn't understand how their shop worked. When I called the front desk to inquire about purchasing some juice and snacks, the person at the front desk told me that they were vending machines, maybe the result of poor training? Rooms are in 3 storey blocks with no lift which can be a pain when you have heavy suitcases to carry up to the top floor. Room was small and it was tricky to know where to put your case and lay out its contents without tripping over stuff...but its a budget hotel so we didn't expect a huge room. Tea/coffee making facilities in room which was nice. Spacious bathroom. There is a restaurant onsite where we had delicious buffet style breakfast each morning.

Firstly, the hotel is nice enough. Breakfast wasn't included and so prepare to pay a little extra. The rooms are like a slightly up market motel and include a kitchenette. My major complaint is actually about the TripAdvisor booking system. We booked a deluxe king room, but this booking system doesn't pass this information on to the hotel and we were allocated a double queen room. Eventually, we managed to prove our booking and the nice guy at the check-in upgraded us to a suite.
