Booked in very last minute and enjoyed our stay as family. Room 267. Fantastic view, fantastic layout and fantastic experience. Clean and comfy beds. Absolute pleasure to stay here. Make sure if you are traveling with family to enjoy the comforts of this family suite. Kitchen and fridge and stove. All practical elements for a stay with family. GM is friendly and engaging. Highly recommend this place and will always return here on our stay in Kelowna.

Awesomely friendly and professional Registration staff and Maintenance crew. Clean, quiet, good quality rooms for a good price. Urban Fare right across the street with a Tim's , Starbucks, banks and Groceries right there too. Wide streets for safe walking and use that yellow cab, what nice drivers they are. $45.00 from the airport for a cab, but so worth it as Image one can be easily walked to in less than 5 minutes. Room has a kitchenette, separate bedroom and nice enough bathroom to satis... Read more

Stayed for 2 weeks (Apr.14-28) and was very comfortable with Siesta Suites. The rooms are large, well appointed with everything you could want. Full kitchens, and maid service either every day, or you can arrange for it twice a week as I did. The location in the mission district is ideal, in that you have shopping right across the street, but a pleasant 15 minute walk and your at the city center. The drive is fine and takes less than 5 min. Parking is provided for 1 vehicle at the hotel. There i... Read more

My family of five stayed at the Siesta Suites for three nights at the beginning of May. We booked a room with a queen bed in a separate bedroom, queen bed in the living room, pull out couch and a full kitchen. Booking and check in were very quick and easy. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional. The room was a good size and even though there were five of us it didn't seem crammed. The room was basic with some remodeling but it was clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable (inclu... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights on a midweek getaway for my kids and me. The location cannot be beat. It is within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and a gorgeous park and the lake. The rooms were spacious (double queen room) and had all the usual comforts including shampoo in the bathroom and coffee and tea. Beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen is basic is in what it offers; not a lot of pots and pans or spices but certainly enough to cook a few things... Read more

This property features large rooms with extensive shared exterior areas with tables and chairs, full kitchens in most of the rooms and private decks with tables and chairs available in some rooms. There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool for summer use and two barbecue areas. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the ample off-street parking, the location across the street from a major shopping mall with grocery stores and the beautiful city beach parks on the shores of Lake Okanagan within walking d... My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. It was very uncomfortable. The room smelt like chemicals. I could not sleep. My throat was very irritated, I had trouble breathing. After we arrived home and started unpacking literally everything we took with us had that chemical smell..we had to wash everything. Even the clothing we did not wear. I will never stay here again. The front desk was very rude when my boyfriend told them about the smell in our room. I honestly would not waste my money... Read more

We stayed here for a night and loved it. The beds were comfy, the pool was nice and so was the shower. It was really affordable too which was a nice surprise since we needed a suite. The only drawback is the location is pretty out of the way for the things we want to do. There are some shops/restaurants around but it's a long walk to downtown.

We stayed here as suggested by the hospital the night before I went in for surgery. We were able to get a medical rate because it was hospital related. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive to the hospital which is convenient. The front desk service was alright and the room was pretty clean. I personally did not find the bed very comfortable and I felt the room smelled kind of musty but overall I would rate the hotel average to good. There was 2 pools and a hot tub but we didn't swim in either. I ... Read more

I spend way too much time trying to find the perfect hotel when we travel. I read and re-read countless travel sites, absorb and dissect opinions from globe trotters like you, and pour over the numerous photos taken of hotel rooms from every angle possible. I question if that dark spot in the corner is a stain, or a shadow? Eventually I run out of time, and circle back for the umpteenth time, only to discover the rate has increased, or the hotel in question is fully booked. Lets face it, there ... Read more

We stayed at the Siesta Suites from June 27 - July 1 in a one-bedroom suite. First impressions were great! The room was spotless! The amenities were great! Anything you would need was in the room and everything in good working order. The motel amenities were also great. The pool and hot tub, which we used extensively was fantastic. It was cleaned every morning and ready to go for 9:00 am. Hotel staff were friendly and quite helpful. The location is also a big plus!! Only a five minute w... Read more

We recently spent three nights here over the July long weekend for a soccer tournament. We were Leary when we booked, as friends had stayed here a few years ago and said it wasn't so great. What a pleasant surprise we had. We were given a room overlooking the pool on the second floor . The room was clean and we loved that every room had it's own little patio set and umbrella. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Save-on Foods and Urban Fare. It's also close to two liquor stores, a... Read more

Returned after ten years and the Siesta is still very good. Location is easy to get around and the proximity to stores across the way is great. Pools, hot tubs and bbq used everyday. Staff friendly, I'm sure they are tested by the many children Someone made comment about bedroom AC, yes please look into as bedroom was always too warm. Beds also uncomfortable and pull out bed needs to be replaced Will return again someday Thanks

We spent 2 nights at the Siesta Suites to host a bachelorette weekend with 12 young ladies, The front desk staff were very helpful in making arrangements for the rental of 4 rooms and allowing us to have access to the future bride's room so we could decorate and stock the refrigerator. The staff was friendly and had no problem calling cabs for the group. Check in and check out was easy. Each room was clean and comfortable. Be warned that the internet service is slow. We would stay there again.

A pretty spot, minutes from the lake in the heart of Kelowna. A little spendy but OK for a couple nights. Pool, laundry and AC-all used and necessary for this hot weary traveller! Kitchenette I had (#115) was very pretty and recently renovated. Poolside-a little noisy but so worth it! No tv in bedroom...would have been a nice touch! Would recommend this place to anyone

The best thing about Siesta Suites is its location. It is a short walk from Gyro beach, and right across the street from Urban Fare, banks, Save-on, Shoppers Drug Mart, A&W, MacDonald's. Siesta Suites is your basic strip motel, with an outdoor and indoor pool and a hot tub. All the rooms, including those on the upper level, have their own patio sets (table and chairs). It is nice to sit outside on a hot day and enjoy a drink. Some rooms have been renovated with new kitchens and bathrooms, other... Read more

Really I'd rate this place a 3.5. I've stayed here a few times over the summer and have to say the room are pleasant and clean. Some rooms are full suites with a separate bedroom. While others offer a kitchenette style, but all rooms offer at least a medium style fridge. The outdoor pool is always a hit with the family on the warmer days and the jacuzzi is a good place to unwind during the evening. When the weather isn't cooperation the Siesta offers and indoor pool and jacuzzi as well. The loca... Read more

We recently stayed at The Siesta Suites for three nights and would definitely go back. It was great having a fridge and kitchen area - with Urban Fare and Save On Foods across the street you can easily get supplies to have meals and snacks in your room instead of having to dine out for everything. We stayed in one of the older, non-renovated suites but everything was spotless and everything worked like a charm, including the bathroom fan and the A/C. The room at this hotel was nice and clean and the beds were super comfortable. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to Gyro Park which has a lovely beach area and is considerably quieter than the main City Park in Kelowna. The pool area was really nice as well. My only complaint is the hot tub area was separate from the pool. They also had two covered bbq areas at the back of the property. They did tell us that we were only allotted one parking spot and if the place got busy they would have ... Read more

I stayed at Siesta with friends on a golf weekend as it was booked by one of the group. The location is good as it is adjacent a shopping center with a grocery store, liquor store and a Starbucks. It is also near the beach and Gyro Park. Unfortunately the rooms are quite dated with old laminate counter tops and furniture. The shower pressure was extremely weak and the water temperature fluctuated between cold and scalding regularly. The towels were thin and small. The room cleanliness was fine w... Read more

This place is not situated well for the tourist crowd but if you have someone in Kelowna General it's great. Older but clean and comfortable, walls are thin and you can hear people walking in the rooms above you. They offer special prices to those having hospital dealings so that's good.

We selected Siesta Suites, based on reviews, found on several websites. Our suite was very clean and quiet, just what we wanted, during a quick trip to visit a relative. The location was convenient, for our needs, being close to coffee shops and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again!

Have stayed here 4 times this year for medical issues at Kelowna hospital. Rates are good if you stay more than 2 nights for hospital stuff there is a discount. The rooms are large and clean with comfy beds. Most rooms have cooking facilities. Save-on and other stores are right across the street.

Went down for another medical procedure (we were there in July 2015 as well). Very accommodating and friendly. We felt welcome. Like last year, I had to change my reservation, this was done without issue. The stress my wife and I were dealing with the medical issues were not compounded by the accommodating staff. Very appreciated.

Stayed at the Siesta for 3 weeks with my two boys. The room was always cleaned and fresh towels were replaced daily. We had a kitchen which was great for breakfast, but there are many places to eat, in and around Kelowna. Swimming pool clean and good, plus their hot pool. Self serve laundry ws handy at $2.50 a machine Gym a little sparse and only opens after 9am, but if you like running there are many nice runs to the town park and along the green way. I stayed here while my wife was having surgical procedures in the Kelowna hospital. They gave me a very good rate which was greatly appreciated. My wife and I don't appreciate people coming into our room (in any hotel) for any reason, including to change towels etc. If we need it we ask for it. During our stays at any motel we've ever been in over the many years, we've always put the "Do not disturb" sign on the outside of the door and the maids bypass our unit. In this case I had the sign out... Read more
