We were overjoyed with our experience here. We were given a complimentary upgrade for the two nights that we booked over may long. We ended up extending our stay and were once again given the complimentary upgrade. The restaurant serves amazing food, and the lake front patio is fantastic! There were parties going on all around us and we barely heard any of it! The bed was so comfortable! I really don't have anything negative to say except there is only one elevator...but really, it didn't impact... Read more

Went to Kelowna for a dance convention. Before we traveled, I asked around as to a nice place to stay as there were no hotels available where the convention was being held, and was told that for families, this is the place to go. Check In/Check Out - Very easy, very painless. At Check In, the desk staff took time to provide a layout of the property and answer any questions I had. Room - No complaints here. Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and even though we are a family of 5, we never felt cramp... Read more

highly recommend this place to others and if we come to kelowna again we will surely stay here again. Everything was clean and was very well stocked with everything one needs. Even very quiet, seeing there were 2 weddings going on.

This is a beautiful mid-sized hotel with an unbeatable lakeside location. Lots of amenities including several pools hot tubs. I really liked the outdoor and indoor dining areas. My lakeview room was outstanding although the wait for the elevator was frequently long and it makes a scary noise going from the 3rd to 4th floor. There was also 3 different taxes on my bill which I felt was excessive.

If you don't care about good service or good quality then this is the place for you. This hotel property is beautifully situated on the lake but unfortunately they do not follow through on their service or quality of food. The hotel staff does not care about their customers; they are only there for the pay cheque and not for the love of their job. 90% of the staff (mainly the women) had major attitude. I tried to pre-order room service for breakfast the next morning but I was told that they don... Read more

Stayed here for business - close enough to downtown, but far enough away to be quiet in the evenings. The grounds were nice, right on the water with a boardwalk in front to connect you to the beach and the El Dorado. The room was very spacious; however, the bathroom was a little space and cramped. Will likely stay here again. Though there were some disappointing dealings with the hotel - they did not advise they were placing a hold on my credit card (which is normal for a deposit to be held), b... Read more

For our anniversary we treated ourselves to a lakeside view suite in this beautiful resort. From our many windows or the balcony we enjoyed a picturesque view of the lake , bridge, boats, and beaches. The suite has ample space and is well appointed with a desk, kitchenette, dining table, sofa and a luxurious king size bed. We enjoyed the resort's waterfront boardwalk, landscaped grounds, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tubs, health centre, and waterfront patio for eating. The r... Read more

This is simply our home away from home. I have stayed here twice already and I have always felt at home. It is clean and comfortable and it feels very homey. Waking up to the lake front is a bonus. The kids love staying here as well because they don't feel they are cooped up in a small room. I will definitely be back here again.

I recently attended a work related meeting at Manteo. As part of the meeting we had a private buffet dinner. I attend these types of events often and was simply blown away with the high quality and variety of wonderful, tasty food and it's fabulous presentation. There was not a rubber chicken in sight! I would highly recommend this resort for an event around a meal...if they are consistent you will not be disappointed!

Overall a great place to stay. I never had any issues with the state of the resort. Even with weddings and conferences going on right below our room we had no issue. A gorgeous view out our balcony. I have no concerns with staying here again or recommending. My back struggled with the hard mattress but for me this seems to happen at every hotel.

Our soccer team traveled to Kelowna in April. Eighteen teenage girls can be a challenge at a hotel (or at any other time really) and the Manteo staff were exceptionally patient and accommodating. The rooms were a good size, the restaurant a good quality, and the rates were got as a team were amazing. Go there.

Nice hotel, staff wasn't helpful. We were put in a wheel chair accessible room despite not booking one. It only had one bed and was significantly smaller then most other rooms. Especially frustrating when attempting early check in for a wedding in the hotel and we were told because we had booked that room, it wouldn't be available until later.

Stayed 2 nights here. Room was nice with balcony. Outdoor pool and hot tub was good. Only issue was the elevator. This is kind of a large hotel with only the one elevator and it is quite slow. Nice little boardwalk in front of hotel. Like the Smack Dab restaurant in the hotel. They have a breakfast buffet for $10 for hotel guests, which was really good. We were really tired one night and decided to order in some thai food. The restaurant forgot to pack some forks for us so we called down ... Read more

They are not forthcoming with information regarding their party bookings. Ask the question so they don't put in a room right in the middle of the party. Also if you pay with interact, you are penalized by having to put in our case a $200 deposit, prepay our room and not aloud to charge anything to the room. If we had paid with a credit card we would of had to put $150 deposit pay on check out and charge what ever we wanted to the room. Not a very trusting organization.

Again the service was excellent and quality of the meals was top notch. If we return to Kelowna for another vacation we will be staying at the Manteo Resort.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Beautiful location on the lake, nice pool, really enjoyed dinner at Smack Dab. Staff very friendly & helpful. Also, very nice breakfast buffet for $10. Room was very spacious, we had a great view overlooking the lake. I appreciated the free wifi & parking, & kurig coffee machines in the room My only complaint was with the very small bathroom. My wife, 1 year old son and I stayed at the resort for 4 nights. I was quite impressed with the venue for several reasons. These included very friendly staff, an amazing water front location on Lake Okanagan, spacious rooms and a building size that was not too big, but not too small. I found the resort easy to navigate around and the pool areas are quite amazing. There are indoor and outdoor pools as well as a splash pad that's ideal for young kids. I would definitely stay here again and found t... Read more

We just returned from a wonderful multigenerational family vacation at The Manteo. Although, it wasn't an inexpensive week, it ticked all of the boxes for our family. They have a pool with a water slide, a beach and playground for the kids and a waterfront bar/restaurant and quiet pool are for adults. The service was outstanding throughout the resort! The only negative is the rooms and decor in the main building could use updating

The beginning of my visit was a tad rocky but being that I am a member of the restaurant industry I understand the ups and downs. Although because of my own personal passions with the industry I got off to a bit of a rough start the service was excellent. The Supervisor Matt from England stopped what he was doing on a very busy understaffed night to deal with my concerns. He was absolutely fantastic as was our server. We had a one night stay and were considering a few 3-4 star hotels in the area. For the price, we were expecting more of a 4-star experience but this resort was missing a few of those little details, from extra amenities and service levels to details on furnishings and bathrobes that make it truly an escape. We had a fantastic view of the lake, slept with the balcony door to hear the water, and enjoyed 2 out of the 3 pools. Almost, almost like a beachfront resort, but without the spa, the wal... Great resort, tons of activities for the kids. Was here on a work conference and my husband and kids had no problem staying busy. The staff are all 'yes' people. We had a food order mixup, no problem it's on us they said and ordered and new dish which they also comped without us ever asking them to. Huge rooms, and a great location, this is my go to place in Kelowna for sure!!! Highly recommend!

Booking into this beautiful place was a treat, when the concierge found out it was our 25th anniversary, they upgraded our room! Free of charge! and left us a lovely bottle of wine. Everyone was attentive and accommodated our every desire; from running a movie in the theatre for us; to supplying towels for the pool and clubs for the mini golf. What a great place, especially for families with little kids.
