The room was clean and spacious (even for our family of five plus one dog). The pool was a bit small but we were lucky: the hotel was not very busy and we enjoyed it all to yourselves twice. The breakfast/common room was spacious and welcoming with comfy chairs and TV. The staff was very friendly as well. The big bonus is that the hotel accepts pets!

Stayed at this hotel for one night on our way back home. Didn't make a reservation but asked for their best deal. $104 per night which is exactly what Trip Advisor had said. Room was modern and very clean. Nice large TV as well. The bathroom was pristine! Staff were very friendly. Loved the free hot breakfast. This included scrambled eggs, omelettes and pancakes. The great room they use is very nice and has comfortable chairs and sofa. Many restaurants are close by, which is very convenient. Po... Read more

Our traditional fishing trip starts with staying at the Holiday Inn before trekking out onto the lakes of Algonquin. This hotel is first class all the way, with budget pricing in my opinion. Rooms are fairly standard and large, with all the typical amenities. The only think missing is a couple of channels on the TV, so if you are looking to rev up a fishing trip by watching Deadliest Catch, you will be out of luck. But the best part of this hotel is the breakfast that is included. Omelettes, Bag... Read more

This hotel is very clean which is the most important quality to me. I've stayed at other Holiday Inn Exress locations and i was not impressed in the least, The staff is pleasant and the hotel is well situated. The only complaint I have is the constant hum from the bathroom fan which can not be turned off.

The hotel property was great and the breakfast was yummy. We booked a sweet which had a nice sitting area, doubling as a kid play area. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfy. The front desk staff were excellent. The award the hotel won with IHG was well earned and I can see why they were recognized.

We travel a lot and usually stay in higher end hotels generally. We chose this b/c friends of ours were staying here for a hockey tournament and we wanted to be together. If you accept that this is not meant to be a high end hotel, then you will be very pleased, and I don't mean to imply anything is wrong. It was a nice and comfortable place that served very well as a home base for our trip. We had three other families staying here as well and everyone seemed happy. I think they really try ... We stayed here last night because we stayed next door the week before at Best Western and felt the rooms could have been cleaner. But after paying 40$ night more than there we certainly found it was not worth it. The rooms were cleaner BUT the breakfast was like eating cardboard food. Very poor breakfast. The staff pleasant and the rooms clean but the pool water was cloudy??This is not good sign. Over all if you travel occasionally then this is a great place to spend your night and I am sure yo... Having raved about a Holiday Inn in Oakville some time ago we were expecting great things from Huntsville. Unfortunately we were to be disappointed. OK, the room was a good size and well appointed but that's where the good stuff stopped. Room cleaning comprised of making the bed and cleaning the bathroom but dirty coffee cups were left where they were and no attempt was made to clean out the coffee machine. Downstairs the breakfast room was overwhelmed by the number of people trying to eat at th... Read more

We stayed here for 1 night and were pleasantly surprised! Staff very engaged and great "can-do" attitude. Everyone we interacted with were very upbeat. Just after checking in we were leaving our room to go to dinner and passed a few room attendants and they were quick to ask "how is your room?" I thought that was a nice touch. We got a one bedroom suite for a family of four, including two teenagers. The suite was comfortable and fairly modern. Complimentary breakfast was good and quite convenient. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. The gym and pool are small but if you go to either when it's not crowded, it's quite relaxing. Of course, if your stay is for an extended period i.e. more than one night, you may want to plan activities away from the hotel. We would go back.
