At 11 pm, after a four hour drive, told with a big smile, that reserved cot was unavailable and that someone should sleep on floor. Reception clerk kept laughing with cleaning lady as we attempted to make a new reservation in another hotel. No Future inn in our future...

We just spent four nights with a group of eight teenagers for a dance competition. While organizing our trip I called the front desk several times for information about the city, they were so helpful. With such a large group, everyone at the restaurant did everything they could to accommodate us and very friendly. The ladies at the front desk were just exceptional! They helped us organize events for the girls, helped us with the busing system and always had a helping hand and a smile! A huge ... Read more

A very cozy spot and location outside the busy downtown core, no parking fees and just a friendly place to relax.....very clean and tidy, good size showers and well managed....if only they had a pool it would be 5 out of 5 for and eating all around you within minutes

Located directly off the highway, this convenient hotel is perfect if you don't want to be "downtown" but close to shopping, entertainment and less city traffic noise! Clean rooms, onsite restaurant, friendly staff, parking included.. what more could you ask for! Very close to Starbucks, restaurants, Costco and other shopping options. Would definitely stay there again!

The night before we moved out of province, we stayed here. All our belongings had been packed up and enroute to our new home. Future Inns was literally just a place to crash for the night and that is exactly what I did. I had one day left of work so I crawled into bed late that night and had to get up really early for work the next day. The bed was super comfortable and I fell asleep really quickly. Before I knew it, I had to get up, so I had a pretty good sleep I think. The staff were really fr... Read more

This hotel is not fancy, but is clean, friendly, and well maintained. Definitely a good value for the price. Free wifi, and a complimentary Halifax Chronicle paper available in the lobby. Although not centrally located, it is close to the main roads and easy to get to downtown Halifax, and the free parking is nice!

After a long drive across the province we were looking forward to getting to the hotel. We received such a poor reception from the front desk woman. She seemed bothered by our presence and spoke so fast and flippantly that by the end of check in..i had no idea what she had said about wifi, directions to our room or even our room number. After our initial "welcome" to the hotel, the rest of our stay was comfortable. We plan to be frequenting Nova Scotia regularly however we will think twice abou... Read more

I was travelling for work and stayed in this hotel. It is easy to get to, right off the highway. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. They gave coupons to have breakfast in the restaurant attached, which was pretty good. My main complaint was that the 3rd floor had a very bad smell in the hallway, like body odor. Luckily it didn't travel into the rooms.

We went to Halifax for competition with my son, clean hotel , convenient restaurant downstairs, Starbucks close by, and other retail stores. I enjoyed our stay. We spend a lot of time in the hotel and winter games sport centre which was located close to the hotel so we didn't have to drive far. I thought i would be able to walk but no , needed a car , weather was very bad for 5 days.

We stayed two nights, checked in on June 26th and checked out June 28th. Check in was very quick and was made to feel welcome. Our room was on the second floor with a view of the front of the hotel. Very large clean room that made it comfortable.internet worked great. Had a wonderful meal in the dining room the second evening and was served by Katie who was very pleasant. Also had breakfast both mornings and enjoyed it as well. Great items to choose from for a great price. A soccer team was also... Read more

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is in Very good location. Hotel is clean. Only thing not satisfying is the staff. The reception girl is not very friendly. Not sure if it is because we booked through Hotwire. Otherwise I can give four stars for this hotel.

This hotel is like other chain hotels but without the complimentary breakfast. There is a restaurant on site for dining. Convenient location if you want to be on the edge of town. Tired furniture in the lobby. Good service at the front desk. Mattress a bit soft, found ourselves rolling into each other. Flat screen TV and Keurig in room, which was a good size. Carpets in hallway on the floor we were staying could use some deodorant.

Title says it all. This place is very nice, reasonably priced and in a good location. There is no free breakfast and the on site restaurant is pricey, but there are several breakfast options within walking distance. Turn left out of the property, past the bus terminal and you will find Shoppers Drug Mart, McD's, and KOD. You have to go to KOD in Halifax. ???

This hotel isn't near downtown but it was central enough for me to be able to jet downtown in a short time and easy access for day trips to lunenburg. It's clean, wifi works (which I greatly appreciate after days of low access at other hotels). Comfy beds as well.

We booked a room on Expedia here at Future Inns last minute. It was worth it. The beds were nice, the rooms were clean, the pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. It felt good to shower after a long trip. It is close to everything. I would stay here again.

This hotel was recommended by a former Maritimer and we were not disappointed. The pluses were good beds, close to shopping centres and a rec complex nearby. We asked about a swimming pool so they offered a discount coupon for the nearby pool. A 25 minute drive to the airport and that is why our sleep was short. We had a plane to catch. All was good here.

Stayed two nights at this hotel. The attention by the staff was good. the rooms and amenities are just as advertised. a little far from the harbor but we were expecting that. really liked the popcorn detail in the evenings as the kids enjoyed that while they watched tv.

Other than needing to replace their chairs in the front lobby, the hotel is in great shape, quiet, concrete. Beds and rooms were a good size and comfortable. We had a great stay for 4 days. There was a senior tour at the hotel in early July and as we were checking out a soccer club checked in. It looks like they do have a larger groups booked in there during the summer.

Our room was spacious, clean, modern with plenty of fresh towels and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the free hot beverages in the lobby as well as the freshly popped popcorn! Friendly staff as well. There is no pool or gym at this property but the front desk will issue you a pass for the nearby athletic centre if you'd like to go for a swim with the kids (cool water slide!) or get a workout in. Overall a very nice two-night stay.

Had a great experience in making our reservation and when we arrived at the hotel, Lily and Brooke were extremely helpful towards our checking in. Both of these employees were very friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. Lily and Brooke represent your company very well and have great people skills as we were never felt to feel that we were bothering them. Thanks for an enjoyable stay......

This is a reasonably priced, very nice hotel. It is close to the places we want to see, but it is also relatively easy to get to the harbour district -- you definitely need a car, or some form of transportation. The lobby is welcoming and modern. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is spacious as well. You are getting your money's worth here. We stayed an extra night here.

Had the pleasure of spending a night at Future Inns Halifax.Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable and clean. There is a coffee pot, fridge in the rooms and a/c as well as windows that open. Coffee and tea are available in lobby and early evening they have freshly popped popcorn. Food at Redwood Grill is excellent and the staff there are also very friendly. It is in close proximity to Bayers Road shopping district for those planning Christmas shopping adventures.

Friendly staff and they recommended several places for food and sightseeing. Clean room with comfy beds, lots of counter space at bathroom. Coffee and tea available 24/7 and evenings there are fresh popcorn which is a treat! Close by Walmart, Starbucks, McDonalds and a short drive to Halifax downtown. Free parking which is great if you are renting a car to explore the city. Will definitely recommend this hotel - thanks for a great stay!

It was nice for a night. Our room was next to the Landry room and was very noisy so ask for a room away from that area. Also there is no pool. If you are looking for that. Location is good. Our son likes to swim so now we stay in a different hotel.

I recently stayed a night with some friends at the Future Inn. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The hotel was nice and clean. One of the highlights was the staff in the bar and restaurant area- food and drinks were great but service was amazing! Not my first stay and won't be my last!

A quick visit to Halifax with my wife and mother-in-law required an overnight stay. Looking for a single room to accommodate three adults comfortably we discovered the family suite at the Future Inn. With a good sized bedroom - fully enclosed - a roll-out sofa bed, a kitchenette and plenty of room this suite was ideal. The property was modern, very clean and well cared for.
