If you want ski in ski out with amenities like hot tub on deck - book here! Having a full kitchen and secure storage on the way to the room is appreciated. Indoor parking for your vehicle, even though you won't need to move it means it's always warm and no snow to clear!

Good location, excellent for Ski in and ski out. Nice modern room with all facilities you need incl glasses, plates and cutlery. Could miss a small table to be able to sit and eat. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

I'm not one to write reviews on Trip Advisor, but felt like people should get some warning of the service. We had unit 412, of which our family of 4 had no complaints. Nice unit, hot tub mostly worked, good layout. A second bathroom would have been nice. Issue was the service. Couldn't check in until 430pm because the "unit wasn't ready". Overheard the radio chatter that they had an issue with the lock. This proved to be an ongoing problem during the week. Day 2 our card keys didn't work... Read more

This is our second week at Kicking Horse this Spring. Our first week we stayed at the Glacier Lodge and this time we stayed at the Palliser Lodge. Both accommodations have pros and cons. However, I prefer the Palliser. The condo layout is practical and felt more spacious. We were on the top floor which gave us a vaulted ceiling and we also enjoyed the slopeside view. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Very adequate for a long stay. The hideabed could probably be a bit more co... Read more

Superb! The room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Everything was working. I had no issues and was so impressed that I have already booked it for next year. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.

This place really isn't for summer, unless you want to be alone. No air conditioning in rooms, no screen door on the balcony door, so squirrels and bugs can come in. No other window to open. They only have venetian blinds, so expect to wake up at sunrise. It's only 15min from Golden, unless you hit a train. One long, slow winding road. Feels like you are in a ghost town, only 2 restaurants open (pub and high end) The hotel seemed pretty empty, yet I think we got the worst view. Is it ... Read more

We stayed at the Palliser Lodge for four days. The condo was nice and everything worked well, we used the hot tub down stairs. Bed comfortable and layout was spacious. Washer and dryer came in handy. It is out of the way for some people, we went to Banff National and Yoho Parks and this worked out well for us. We didn't want to stay in any of the busy areas. Took the gondola up the mountain....wish we had time to eat lunch at the restaurant up there....maybe next time. The condos were not packed... Read more

Room was small but very clean. Comfortable bedding and pillows. Beautiful Mountain Views! Very Courteous and Fiendly Staff. We would consider staying at this resort again in the future. First time we ever stayed at this resort.

The condo was conveniently located on the hill. Palliser Lodge is a quick walk to Gondola and all the action. The room suited my needs and had a small kitchenette. Great views of the valley from the balcony. There was a locked storage area to lock up my bike. There was no air conditioning, but this was not an issue for me.

We had a great weekend stay in the Palliser Lodge. The room was very neat and the kitchen had everything we needed to be able to enjoy breakfast in our room on the balcony. The Adventure Pass is well worth the cost and the visit to see "Boo" the grizzly bear was a highlight of our trip. Ensure you go for the 10am trip as he is very active then. Pack bug spray. The view from the Eagle Eye Restaurant was exquisite as was our lunch. Next time we will plan and do the hike down the Mountain from... Read more

The Palliser is very nice and comfortable, friendly staff as well. There is no front desk in the actual lodge though, you have to check-in at the Kicking Horse resort lodge and then drive over. Only a 7 minute walk to the gondola. Beautiful setting.

We drove to the lodge where our gps brought us. No sign on the outside of the building. Went inside, again no indication of name of the lodge. No staff or guests around. Went to a nearby "pub". Waitress said she never heard of the Palliser, but let me use her phone to call. I told the person on the phone II had just arrived and needed to check in. Was directed back to the first location. Still no staff on duty. Found a phone and called guest service. Was told to go to a different locat... Read more

First time we stayed at the resort. The check in is at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Lodge where they give you the door code and the parkade cards. The staff was very friendly and also printed us some maps we needed later on. We were upgraded from a one-bedroom suite to a two-bedroom suite for no additional charge. The suite was spotless, large and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and even a few lunches. There was also an awesome hot tub on the balcon... Read more

My Husband and I recently returned from a 2 week road trip through BC. We chose to do a quick jaunt out of the city after work and stay in Golden for our first night. We chose The Palliser Lodge as it was on a "resort" and we wanted a comfortable first night stay and to enjoy some scenery on the way up and back down the next day. As is was summer, we didn't expect it to be busy nor did we expect it to be a ghost town either. Upon arriving we went in to the main area of the hotel and there was ... Read more

We stayed here for one night on a road trip through Alberta & BC. When we arrived there was nobody at the reception desk and no sign, turns out you have to go to the Glacier Lodge to check in (I've read this in multiple reviews, GET A SIGN ALREADY!) Both key cards they gave us didn't work to open the parking garage so we had to get new ones. Once we finally got in our room the lock was broken and didn't lock at all so a service guy had to come fix that. Despite booking months in advance we given... Read more

We stayed in a king guest room. The room has a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, small sink and a few dishes and cutlery, very handy. The views are beautiful. The gondola ride and subsequent hike at the top was one of the best. The resort is small with limited food options, which worked out just fine. We would like to return for a weekend stay. Learned about check-in at Glacier Lodge from reading other reviews. Perhaps a note on reservation page or confirmation email might save guests... Read more

We loved our stay here, however we arrived to our room only to find that it hadn't been cleaned properly, beds weren't made etc. We spoke to reception who then moved us into a room that was available and cleaned. This room was much nicer with everything you would need for one night or seven. We were only there for one night, but made the most of the spa and great views. In the summer months a little removed from town, great if you want the piece and quiet but not much option for eating out if th... Read more

We stayed overnight during a road trip. The room was very comfortable and the setting is beautiful. The trip up the gondola and the views from the top are breathtaking. A few more meal options would be nice, but was okay for a night stay. We will definitely be back.
