Excellent room with great service. No glasses in room, only took 1 request to receive them promptly. Very good bed and very clean room. Recommend staying there. Close to good restaurants. The complimentary continental breakfast is very good.

Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Average in every way â?? you get what you pay for! The Keurig coffee machine was a nice touch but I canâ??t help but feel guilty throwing the pods in the garbage. In fact, everything was thrown in the garbage as there are no recycle bins provided. I donâ??t stay at hotels very often; perhaps they are all this way but it will be on my list of things to check into next time.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and clean as well. We had a kitchenette suite and the kitchen room was separated by a locked door. It could use a coat of paint but was clean and supplied dishes. A sign did state that there would be a $20 charge for any dirty dishes. The little pool and hot tub were nice and the hot tub was hot.

After a 12 hour semi trip from Saskatchewan, we finally arrived in Golden at 10pm. We seen the Ramada sign from the highway and found it extremely easy to navigate to. We checked in smoothly. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I absolutely love their bedding there. This morning, we checked out well rested. The pictures are the view from the foyer.

The thing that I didn't find average, and would keep me from further visits, is that the whole room stunk of old cigarette smoke. Bleh! The mattress was VERY firm... preference would have been a bit softer, but some people do like hard mattresses. Pillow selection, phenomenal. The shower had great pressure too. Like most hotels... the WiFi while free, is horribly slow. Breakfast wasn't tried... the last place we stayed at (Holiday Inn across the street) had a free breakfast that reviewers wer... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel a few times with no issues while sledding but never used the pool facilities. On the May long weekend took the family to Golden with the intent on using the pool and hot tub. Apparently the hotel allows non-hotel guest to go public swimming for a fee. The second day we were there they had some 15-16 year old non-hotel guest "public swimming". A few of them were swimming in the pool in their underwear. They were also using coarse language and continually spitting ... Read more

This hotel was perfectly adequate for a stop over on the way to the Rockies. Nice spacious rooms although quite dated. The price however, reflected the quality and we were happy overall. We had a little drive over to the new covered bridge they have in Golden which is very nice and a great meal at next doors The Bears Den. All in all they had everything covered and I would stay again under similar circumstances.

Hotel was clean but needs and update. Had a family suite with 2 small rooms and a living room with sofa-bed( not comfy needs a new mattress). Rooms are drab and new bedding is needed sheets, bedspread and towels are tired and worn. Rates reasonable.

Pretty average for a budget hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were a nice treat. The included breakfast was a little limited, but we were perfectly happy with what we had. We had a quiet room with a nice view, so the sleep was very restful.

Although it's not the best rated hotel in Golden on TripAdvisor, we felt that the Ramada was more than acceptable, with a very competitive rate, clean room, and decent breakfast. Very polite and quick check-in, comfy bed, clean room and a better rate than other nearby hotels. The Ramada is not brand new, but it is well cared for. Will definitely stay there again - price is right for the overnight (10 hour) stay.

Good price, on the way true this is a good hotel if you dont want to spend to much money. Breakfast could be better but this is something that could be improved in a lot of these hotels. Room was good, above normal in size. Clean, we had a good feeling about it, would recommend considering the price you pay for what you get.

One night stay - room was clean, the cot was fairly comfortable, bed was very comfortable as well. Breakfast was good, too, with most of the usuals plus two waffle stations. Would be nice to have trays handy to bring back food to the room, but not all places provide that either. Easy access off highway 1. We had a room facing the back and it was quiet. Would definitely consider staying here again if we need to. Don't forget to check out Golden's downtown - some nice stores and restaurants t... Read more

The location is next to highway, and is good location for overnight stays. The checkin was good and staff were friendly. The rooms are okay, not what I would call the updated Ramada look but okay. Wifi was good and did not kick out. Cable selection was good. There are a couple restaurant's close by. The breakfast in the morning is basic.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from the Rockies. Although the rooms were clean, they were very small. Everything at the hotel was limited and looked neglected. There were stains on the carpets, the towels were thin and greyish, toilet paper was thin and In our room the mirrorâ??s frame was broken. Breakfast was very limited and only until 9:30am. One just doesnâ??t feel very welcome and appreciated as a customer. It was overpriced for what it offered. Stay here only as a last reso... Read more

Stayed here one night on our way through. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub and they were also clean and well maintained. It was quiet at night even though it's close to the main highway. They do serve a breakfast in the morning which looked pretty basic but we didn't eat in. It's a great option for one or even a few days and I'll stay there again if I'm back in Golden.

It's pretty bad when we've only been here an hour and i already feel the need to review the place. Checked in late evening after a long drive with 3 kids.. 1st bad - no parking?! 2nd bad - worst room is 101 right next to vending machines.. front desk and ringing phones.. and something that made a humming sound every couple minutes.. ice machine? Who knows 3rd bad - no rollaway bed as requested when we booked.. they were quick to bring it at least.. but once it's here.. where do we put it? We o... Read more

We stayed three nights in golden Canada. We were able to paraglide, walk with wolves, and relax in the small mountain town of golden Canada British Columbia. We found that The Ramada Inn was centrally located very clean quiet and enjoyed the pool in the hot tub in the evenings. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and suggested many area restaurants for us to dine in. We intend to go back next summer and will stay there again thank you very much!

Stopped here on our way home. First off hotel was clean. Had a room with two queens. It is in need of an update carpet is stained and worn and the couch was something you might find on the side of the road. They charged almost 300 a night which to my mind was way to much for the condition of the hotel. The sheets where torn and had holes in them. I wouldnt recommend staying here as they charge way to much. For almost 300 a night it would be well kept and not in need of renovations.

Hotel needs an update urgently. Everything is outdated. We had a large room with two bedrooms. Beds were okay. Breakfast is a joke. We had to wait a half an hour untill we could sit down and have breakfast. Way to little tables. Hot tub was okay. Swimming pool very cold. Good to stay one or a few nights. No more no less.

The hotel was comfortable as a stop over. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited due to the size of the dining room, but it was tasty. Our room was quite large with two Queen size beds as there were four of us. The ensuite was adequate and easy to use. I would suggest this hotel as a stop over rather than some where to stay for longer.

Stayed here for one night recently. Room was a decent size, clean and reasonably priced. We didn't get a chance to visit the pool/hot tub, but we did have breakfast. (Breakfast selection was adequate, but limited, and we were lucky to get a table. It was packed!)

I thought that the room and the bathroom was a little small and I didn't really like the arrangement of the room, but overall, it was clean and comfortable. The room had good sound proofing stuff as we didn't hear much noise from outside the room or any talking from the rooms next door. There are a few places to eat on that street, Tim Hortons and a convenience store in the gas station near by, but that is about it. It is a pretty quiet area.

This is a comfortable property. Our room was good repair with above average quality bedding and furnishings. Nicely appointed with fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and coffee. Cleanliness was evident in the rooms and around the property. The daily breakfast included with a stay exceeded the usual standard. The only drawback of our stay was the repetitive negative demeanor seen in the staff and such the reason why I rated this Ramada as "average". Staff did not represent this prop... Read more

The hotel is a little old and tired. The cleaning was a bit under standard - a bunch of hairs were in the shower. The gym is quite large and well equipped. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. Based on some of the earlier ratings we were unsure whether the Ramada was a good choice for our stay. We ended up booking to stay there while on the road as it was one of the few (better) hotels with room available. We were pleased with our experience overall. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated in the foyer but not too bad. Our room was relatively up to date and nicely decorated. The room and bathroom were both clean.
