We went for two days stay and it worth the price. It was really convenient for skiers. We had a great service and the room was clean and well placed. We didn't have to cook there but the kitchen wasn't well equipe even for a small breakfast.

Had a stunning 2 bedroom loft facing the ski hill with full kitchen, it was clear the room was recently reno'd with comfy beds and fluffy pillows-I slept like a dream! The staff are one of the main reasons I choose to stay right on the hill. They do such a good job of attending to my needs. The room was missing a kettle for my tea in the morning and the front desk staff ensured it was brought up to my room right away. Chris and Jay at the front desk were informative and made sure that I unders... Read more

The rooms are pretty new and stylish and very clean. The beds are super comfy. We have a small fridge and microwave and utensils in our kitchen which is great for snacks but not for cooking a meal obviously. You're right on the Hills here about 1 minute walk to the gondola

In winter, a ski resort. In spring, awesome hiking. The views are amazing. 6 Parks around you - including Yoho. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The fireplace perfect after a day's hike and the kitchen fit with oven to toast french bread and cheese from Golden nearby. The locals are very friendly. I felt the staff at the resort, however, were not overly eager to engage. We were not offered any information about the resort nor surroundings. Put upon.

Nice spot, comfortable room but amenities during the summer absolutely suck! We couldn't check in until 4 pm and the general store and only cafe both close then! Website touts a restaurant but does not indicate it's closed in the summer! Had to drive all the way back to Golden for dinner! Not pleased with the extra drive. Very quiet - not even sure if there were other guesta as parking garage only had 1 other car.

The outside looks nice, but the inside is warn and very dirty. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. It was the tiniest room I've ever been in and the patio couldn't be used because of the massive amount of bird poop. We couldn't watch tv because the room is so small that the bedpost is half way up the tv when laying on the bed......1 chair in the room which couldn't be situated to watch tv.....small small room. Will never ever go back and will not recommend it to anyone.

The location of the resort is great, also the gondola is right in front of the hotel. However we went there in summer, staff was not really enthusiastic and didn't make a professional impression. We went there for an event that was supposed to start at 5, upon our arrival on 2:30 our room wasn't ready. We were just told that, it is still not 4 and that's check in time...the hotel should have been better prepared for guest arriving earlier...

Great place to stay. Clean rooms with all the amenities, views, and more. Comfortable and fun place to visit. Wanted to go mountain biking on the hill but was rained out. The course looked like it would have been a lot of fun.

We chose to stay at this hotel as part of a 'bucket list' holiday to see Boo Grizzly at the refuge centre at the Kicking Horse resort and other wildlife within the Canadian Rockies. Mum loves mountains and scenic views and the hotel room which we stayed provided that in abundance. Admittedly, we arrived before the summer peak season was about to kick off and as a result, a lot of the on-site facilities and stores closed at 4pm, but Golden itself is only a 15 minute drive away and there's always ... When we visited this location we found that there weren't a lot of other lodgers on the property, however, we were given a small room that fit one bed and some smaller furniture pieces. The t.v. was set in a corner, and I couldn't even see the t.v. screen due to the bedpost that was in the way. I just can't understand putting people in a tiny little room when larger ones are available, and the property is in the down season. Sure, the place is attractive, and I liked the decorative touches in th... Read more

We arrived in the evening. We had been booked into another property on the same site and had to go to the Glacier Lodge to check in. No big deal. But then the staff told us they had "upgraded" us and we would be staying in the Glacier Lodge. I then asked to be sure the new room could accommodate our two kids as well. It couldn't! To their credit they did find another room for us that worked but it wasn't ready so we had to wait. All this as kids are waiting for us to cook supper in our ro... Read more

We stayed here for our sons Wedding, and our issues started when we tried to enter our room. Couldn't get ahold of anyone as there is no staff in the building. We had to get to the venue to decorate, so we had to go to the other hotel to get someone, nobody came but we found a cleaning staff to let us in. Our son stayed in our room, he is asthmatic and has allergies. He started having issues with his asthma and allergies, but at first we thought it was nerves. I sat on the floor on the area ru... Lovely stay . Clean and tidy rooms. Nice high bed which was firm . Quite hot in the room at night though and no air con . lots of space . Full kitchen and laundry which was super handy . Nice patio too . It didn't seem busy so I would have expected possibly a higher floor room away from the main entry . We had our two year old with us and listening to people come and go all night in and out and up the noisy lift was not ideal . The main restaraunt peaks shuts at 8 in the height of Summer which... We had a great 1 night stop here. Fantastic scenic drive up from the town, further than I thought, but only because I didn't look it up. Well worth it for the views. A lovely well equipped room, with a loft so two double bedrooms. Very clean. Not a huge amount of atmosphere in the hotel, which presumably would be completely different in the winter, but wasn't a problem for us. Great having a washing machine and dryer since we were half way through our holiday! Would love to go back in the... Read more

On checking in we were directed to the property next door for the actual room. Undercover parking was awesome as it was windy and raining. Our room had an excellent view of the mountain, chairlifts and activities at the resort. Didn't have a problem with noise though despite being so close to the action. Room was fairly basic but had a small fridge, microwave and basic utensils and crockery. Bathroom was clean and neat and had everything you'd need. Had a little balcony to sit and watch the moun... Stayed here for one night on a biking trip in the summer. This is a busy family lodge and I would recommend it for family travellers. Rooms are clean and well laid out. They do not have a/c and you will need to have your windows open to cool the room off in summer. Check in took a while, there were some computer and printer issues, but the desk staff was apologetic and did their best to resolve. Our first room was on the second floor and the balcony was a shared balcony area with other rooms.... Read more

Just had the Portobello Mushroom Burger. Concept was good, but consisted of a couple of skinny mushrooms, tsp of cheese and about two thin strips of red pepper. The salad was pub basic but the buttermilk ranch dressing was very good. Service was friendly and very quick.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Okanagan in a 2-bedroom suite. It was a nice drive up the hill and the road is paved all the way up. First impression was that it was a little worn, chipped paint etc, but nothing horrible. Also, a few blinds and window handles were missing. The pilot light was off on our gas fireplace, and we wanted to use it given the cooler temps outside. I phoned the front desk and she said "she will try to find someone" Sure enough, five minutes later there was som... Read more

We stumbled across this hotel after looking on Expedia for a place to stay while driving from Kelowna to Calgary. Our room was so cozy and elegant. Even though it was a smaller unit, we still had a balcony overlooking the chairlift, and a microwave and fridge and kitchen sink. Check in was so fast an efficient, but they should do a better job of signage. We originally drove up to the Mountaineer lodge, but check in is in the second building called "Glacier". The hotel should have signage pointin... Read more

Booked into this Resort on a last minute road trip through the Rockies. Pleased I did as it's very nice, with fantastic scenery. Went up in the Gondola Chair Lift this morning to the top of the mountain that overlooks the Resort. Wow! Well worth the $22 senior discount to get to the top of the Run. Nice Restuarant up there as well, and the View is amazing. Our Room was a Studio Efficiency and very clean. It was very quiet and gave us a great nights sleep.

Gorgeous views and peaceful location. We slept with the window open every night and heard owls as we fell asleep in the mountain air. The deck is really large and overlooked the mountain. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Great staff and friendly. The only thing lacking was a spot or rack to place a suitcase on. The room was a little cramped but we enjoyed it. Also worth mentioning is the underground parking was great, 8' clearance so my truck fit easily. We loved staying here... Read more

The staff were awesome. Katie (at the front desk) was such a delight to deal with! Our suite was beautiful and we had an amazing view of the mountains! Our suite was on the third floor and faced the back of the hotel (mountain side, away from the ski hill). I'd recommend getting this because the views are better!

Right from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we were treated awesome. The people working the gondola were great and the staff in the Eagle Eye Restaurant were fabulous as well. Good job on the staff and their professionalism :)

We spent 2 nights at the GML for a wedding and enjoyed the lodge. Location is base of the mountain with the gondola/chair and various stores and cafes just out the back door. Parking is underground and heated and convenient when the weather sucks. My wife and I stayed here a couple of nights with 5 other seniors who were spending a couple of weeks visiting the Canadian national parks. Golden has good access to Yoho, Glacier, and Revelstoke National Parks for day trips. Setting of the lodge on the mountain is wonderful in both directions (mountain & valley), and there are restaurants on site.
