We stayed in the two and three bedroom condos. They were clean, well organized and fairly comfortable. Good location on the hill. Well equipped kitchen. Decent price. We would probably stay there again based on those things, but if you're looking for a luxury hotel this is not it.

We stayed on night here after switching from another lodge on the hill. We stayed in a one bedroom with loft. The room was spacious, had a great view of the ski hill. The room was clean and had everything we needed but decor is very very dated. It kind of made us laugh. It was fine though. Convenience was everything. Staff at front desk was very friendly. Great access to the hill. A little bit of a hike to the base area and bunny hill but not too bad. Easy access to the quad chair. Hot tub was... Read more

The Griz Inn was built in the 1980’s and the accommodations reflect an 80’s look. But people coming to Fernie to ski are not interested in staying in a well-appointed hotel room. We did a last minute booking with The Griz Inn. It was actually what we expected. The room (101) was clean and it had everything you needed, a well equipped kitchen. Yes, the bedding and beds needed to be replaced. In fact, the furniture and bedding/beds were outdated and probably needed to replaced. There was plenty of room for my family of 4, and it was convenient to stay on the mountain. We loved the views! The Rusty Ridge was okay for drinks, but the menu needed more selection. I was not im... Read more

Stayed in a one bedroom with a loft. Great place to stay if you like being close to the hill. Room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and clean. Had a nice little kitchen with stove, dishwasher, dishes, and fridge if you wanted to do your own cooking. The restaurant downstairs had really good food. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. All in all it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.
