Overall we were very happy as a family. The room size and layout was perfect. Breakfast was excellent! Kitchen amenities were good. We stayed for 3 nights. Staff could be better trained. I requested for light cleaning before leaving the room at noon time (second day of our stay). I could see the person didn't note my room number. When I came back in the evening nothing was done. It was disappointing. The swimming pool area didn't have enough towels. One day, there were no towels. This was... Read more

We had booked a stay months ago and it happened to coincide with the evacuation of Ft. McMurray during the fires. So the hotel was packed with displaced families and felt very busy and active. This is not a negative - just a comment of the situation. The hotel was doing many things to help out the evacuees (including providing some basic supplies and doing some little events in the hotel for the families). The breakfast was surprisingly extensive for an "included" breakfast and the hotel also do... Read more

The service was excellent! The room was very clean and big. Location was close to all amenities. I liked everything about this hotel. Commentary breakfast, most nights they provided free dinner. They had a room set up with supplies for all evacuees. We have stayed there many times before and always loved it. They went above and beyond to help everyone from Fort Mac in our time of need. The staff is always friendly.

My boyfriend and two of our friends decided to have a staycation in our hometown, Edmonton. We stayed at the Staybridge for two nights and were all very happy with our stay! The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff members were all very friendly and excellent at their jobs. The buffet breakfast was tasty and there were many options to choose from. The four of us had a very pleasant stay here. :) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edmonton.

We regularly visit this hotel 2 to 3 times a year since they opened. Even though it's a little far from downtown it's amazing how many restaurants have come up in the area just within the last year making this location even more desirable. The mall is 5 minutes away which is great and the hotel itself is a great place with family. Kids love the pool and we love the separate bedrooms in the suites. Service is excellent! All in all excellent value.

It isn't always easy to find a hotel room with two separate sleeping spaces in a price under $200 but this always hits the mark. This is our return visit to this location and it impressed as always. We like to have a separate room so we don't have to keep the same bedtime as our 3 year old. He goes to sleep and we stay up. There are also full kitchen facilities so you can cook in your room instead of eating out each meal. That saves $. The breakfast in the morning is great and I noticed fr... Read more

I booked on IHG site and decided to try a different hotel other than Holiday Inn. Site recommend the Staybridge. It was an amazing hotel, clean and amazing room. We booked king room but because I am platinum with IHG we got bumped up to a king suite. The room was beautiful. There is a new resteraunt Fionn MacCools which is excellent pub. Then for breakfast there is a brand new IHOP. Everything is in walking distance.

Staff at the hotel go over and above any one I have ever stayed at. They made you feel as if you were part of a family. The rooms were one of the cleanest, spacious and modern rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was great, something for everyone to choose from. Can hardly wait to return. Glad we chose this hotel.

We booked to stay here specifically because it's pet friendly and the reviews were good! The bed was comfortable, rooms were clean and quiet. We were unable to get any kids channels on the TV, we did bring this to the hotels attention and the guys working the night we checked in went to every effort to try and find something thinking the guide was wrong. I was told in the morning when checking out they would look into it as they were unaware. The staff were very sincere which makes things so muc... Read more

We are so pleased with our stay at Staybridge Suites West Edmonton. Our pets were able to be accommodated and the helpful, friendly staff made us all feel so welcome. It really is like a welcome home away from home during a very stressful time in our lives. Thank you Staybridge Suites for easing our transition to Edmonton.

This was my first stay at a Staybridge Suites and I must say that it will NOT be my last. I was very impressed with this hotel. The suite, the free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free laundry machines. This hotel has it all! The fitness center was well equipped and the hotel even had an indoor pool. The afternoon cookies were a nice treat too. I will definitely stay here again!

Only 5-10min for West Edmonton Mall too. Important things to us was having food options close by and safety. This hotel had it all. I would highly recommend this Staybridge to anyone looking for quality and great price. I have Stayed at 4 star resorts that could not come close to the service and cleanliness of this hotel. ... A family member and I needed a room in Edmonton for the night. This hotel is excellent. Fridge, microwave, pullout couch, two tv's, great bathroom, spacious throughout and clean. This is a unique hotel that has a lot to offer. Though there is not a restaraunt within the hotel, breakfast buffet is offered, the capacity to cook in your own room exists (the lobby has lits to buy to reheat/defrost/cook in your room) and many restaraunts exist right accross the street. The staff here are excellent. ... Read more

The hotel is fairly new and my first contact with the hotel was not good as the lady Arthur front desk (thus was at 11pm), seemed to be either tired or disinterested. The term "service with a smile" seemed to have escaped her. It's something you don't need after a long flight. However I am glad to say that was the only negate. The room was large and clean. The facilities were very good and we made use of all them. We asked for a very impractical late check out (4pm) and of course that would not... Read more

Don't stay here for business or if you plan on getting anything done. WiFi caused me to miss an entire class while spending the night here. While it does work, the connection cuts in and out meaning if you're relying on the connection you're out of luck. Everything else in this hotel is standard. They give you popcorn in the room and I would have given it 5 stars had they offered reasonable WiFi. In today's day an age this is outrageous!!

We will stay here again if we come back to Edmonton. We stayed in a King Suite and for our family of 4, we thought it was just large enough. We managed with the one bathroom for the few days we stayed here. The pullout wasn't big enough for both kids so we had to bring an extra air mattress from home but we had already planned for that as our kids are getting too old to want to sleep in the same bed. We have stayed at this property 3-4 times when visiting Edmonton. We find it convenient because it's right off 170th near the WE Mall and Mayfield Common for shopping as well as the Olive Garden for dinner :). The rooms are nicely furnished and staff are friendly. There is a nice assortment for breakfast but the breakfast area could be configured differently - it gets very congested when the hotel's busy. Otherwise good value for your dollar.

On our first night we asked to move rooms because the guy above was ridiculously loud and our light fixtures were shaking. Asked to move rooms but they wouldn't, instead they asked him to be quiet. Later that night we were woken up at 1am to noise once again from the room above. It's wood framed so if someone is heavy above you, it's really loud. Wish they would have let us switch rooms as we originally asked.
