The front desk clerks were truly amazing, very friendly and informative. Just that alone would make this my number one choice here for accommodations in Dryden. The rooms were modern and very clean. WiFi connection is very strong and the pool is clean and warm. Free hot breakfast with a great selection and tonnes of parking, good for trailers and recreational vehicles. It's perfect!!

This was a great experience from booking to check out. The reservation clerk spent a lot of time to ensure we got the most appropriate room for the best price. Check in was fast, friendly and efficient. The room was clean, well set up and had the walk in shower we had asked for. The toilet was a little low. There were a few minor reoairs needed in the room. Construction was going on in the hallway but did not start too early. Breakfast was free with a variety of options indluding healthy choices... Read more

This was a very nice place. Super clean and very modern. Friday's breakfast was fantastic with omelette, bacon/sausage. Saturday was your typical scrambled eggs and sausage. Staff was very friendly. Pool and workout room were very nice. Room rate was reasonable Can't go wrong with this place

Really enjoyed my stay here, clean rooms, great breakfast friendly staff. A bit hard to control room temperature but overall a great place to stay. Close to places to eat. Undergoing some renovations but no effect on stay

This hotel was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. The first room we were given smelled so strongly of smoke that we couldn't stay in it. The second room was so hot - the thermostat was set to 85+. I turned it down and we went out for something to eat. When we came back it was still very hot so we opened the door to the hallway and turned the fan on high. The smell of smoke was coming into the room so we had to close the door. We were very tired after travelling all day and just wanted to go to ... Read more

When travelling in the US we often stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels, they are usually clean and reasonably priced hotels, best suited for overnights or short stays. This was the first HIE we stayed at in Canada. The hotel itself was recently renovated (2012). It does appear as though the reno was done on the cheap, the workmanship looks poor, and things like the bathroom floor tile are already deteriorating, at least in our room. Although I've read several comments about how clean the ho... Read more

I stay here regularly for business. Service is always friendly and top notch, rooms clean and updated. The gym is a bonus for hotels in this area of NW Ontario. Breakfast has nice diversity, hot and cold. Location is conveniently located right on the Trans-Canada for easy in and out. Never had an issue in all my stays. Even got upgraded to a suite last time for a small check-in hiccup.

We stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn visiting friends. We had a small wait for our room, however were accommodated with tea, coffee or hot chocolate while we were waited. Rooms were very spacious and clean, nice and quiet and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was more than enough and the staff were extremely friendly - would highly recommend to stay here.

This is probably the poorest Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed in. It was overpriced for the quality & condition it is in. There is a sign about renovations there but I didn't see any evidence. The pool has a wrinkled liner & in poor general condition. The room was ok & clean but like the rest of the inn requires some TLC. The positive is the staff is friendly & accommodating & the breakfast were very good in a clean environment.

This holiday inn was amazing loved it. Nice and quiet and a good location. The holiday inn and suites in Regina on prince whales was terrible though so I will no longer use a holiday in again. But the holiday inn in Dryden Ontario was a solid 4 stars. Best western is the only hotel in Dryden that has room service

Great hotel. Rooms are big and very clean. Staff are excellent and the free breakfast is very good. I was also impressed with the fitness center as it was well equipped for a smaller hotel. I will definately stay here again.

My husband and I just got back from Dryden, Ontario (stopped on the way to and from Lake of the Woods) and loved the Holiday Inn Express. The room and suite we stayed in were spacious, very clean and the TV got loads of channels. The gym was always empty and I made full use of it while watching BNN. The breakfast buffet was quite good and the staff always had a smile and were very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again next time we pass through Dryden.

I have to say, this is the first time I have considered giving a five star rating to a Holiday Inn! I held off simply because for myself, 5 stars are things like the Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo and as great as this place is, it isn't quite that haha. That said, it was a great place to stay. Check in was fast and efficient. Carts were available (although I would have liked larger ones but we made the trolley style one work just fine). Room was clean, large and we managed to get two queens che... Read more

We stayed for one night on our way across Canada. The hotel was having a delivery of new beds throughout the hotel when we arrived. We got to be the first ones to test the beds in our room and they were extremely comfortable. The whole town had a power outage while we were there but the staff were very helpful. We also had a smoker next door to our room and they quickly addressed that issue. The pool was great and the breakfast was wonderful. Love the pancake machine. Thank you for our stay.

typical of a holiday inn express chain. neat and clean. the staff is accommodating, especially when you call ahead. only problem encountered was the driveway/parking lot. very rustic. gathered in the midst of renovating. the room was nice enough. bed was too soft. would not have liked to be so deep in the mattress--no support.

We've stayed at this HI on several occasions and been pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately not this time. Our room was damp & the bathroom door didn't fit in the door jamb. It wasn't as clean as it had been on our previous visits. From other posts here I see that the renovation plans are moving forward so I wish them well. They have a good & consistent breakfast buffet.

Holiday Inn has always been a great place to stay. 4 of us guys stayed on our way to Wine Lake Camp for our Fishing Trip. It's located close to the Walmart and a A&W Root Beer place. Breakfast is served starting at 6:30 am. Great Staff!

I stayed here for three weeks minus weekends and really enjoyed my time here. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and accommodating. The first week I had an issue with the room and they upgraded me immediately. They always said good morning to me and made me smile each time. The breakfast was well stocked every morning and Shannon, the lady who works there is happy to help if you need baby bottles warmed up or an extra banana. She was so friendly, always taking time to chat with th... Read more

This hotel is clean , nice sized rooms. The pool is good also. Buffet was good , the usual buffet for breakfast at a Holiday. The personnel were nice. There isn't much around there, kind of isolated. Free parking is ideal.

I stayed here once before in July 2015 and wrote my review with a 1/5 star rating. This time it was great. Great location, feels very safe, hotel staff is friendly and the breakfast is nice. I always find Holiday Inns to be very clean and perfect for a quick, restful night stay. Amenities are nice too. I would stay here again if I find myself driving across Canada (which I find myself doing a lot more than I'd prefer).
