Yucky. I don't know if it felt grubby or if it was just out dated but I didn't want to walk around the room without my shoes on. What it had going for it was there was parking and we didn't have to sleep in the car. There was breakfast, a reasonable amount of choice but don't get too excited, it lacked quality.

Nothing great at all. Recently painted but quite literally the worst paint job imaginable. Room is fairly clean but you can hear every noise in the room next to you and from outside. Plain Jane breakfast but it's free. Not good for a family. Wouldn't stay again.

Stayed here for a conference. The rooms were dumpy but clean and the renovations that had been done/were being done were sloppy. However the check in was fast and easy and we were able to get in early and the staff where friendly and helpful.

Very clean hotel, great service, located in town, we would love to stay in the same hotel soon. Bed was nice and comfy, suite was nice and clean and we stayed on ground floor, had nice breakfast and had the coffee, it was so delicious

Really appreciated Raj Mistry as host. Helping with additional requests. Econo Lodge has lots of great amenities in the room. Good wifi service, microwave, fridge & coffee station. Everything was clean. A wonderful breakfast with lots of variety was included.

Very clean room, good Wi-Fi and all we need for breakfast. Well situated and the staff is always ready to help. GM Raj Mistry was very helpful in booking a room for our next stop and writing down driving instructions. Merci!

Ok, so hands down this was the absolute best Econolodge we stayed in along our long journey from Idaho to Lloydminster and back! The gentleman at the desk was, first, very much appreciative of the fact that my husband and I, being Choice Hotels Diamond Members, had chosen to stay at his hotel. He mentioned that we were actually the first ones of the season to do so! Our room was so quiet and clean, as were the grounds. We could tell that he took very good care of his hotel! When we checked out t... Read more

At first look we were concerned about the quality of the hotel. Although there are some things that needed updating. The room was small but very clean. There is an older air conditioner and yet it cooled the room nicely. The bed was comfortable and the room had a mini fridge, microwave and 32" tv. They have a strict rule of quiet time starting at 11pm. Although we were right next to the road it wasn't noisy at all. The breakfast was the usual and served in the lobby. Very quaint set up but nice... Read more

A friend of ours was getting married near Drumheller. We ended up driving in early (around 2pm) but check in was at 4pm. We were going to just wonder around, but figured we'd try to see if our room was ready. Wouldn't have minded if it wasn't because we knew we were really early. So thankful that there was a room already made. We ended up just sleeping until we needed to leave for the wedding. So thank you for pulling that string for us, it really was much appreciated after the long drive. The... Read more

We only spend one night at that small hotel but I wouldn't have dislike to spend more time. Raj Mistry, the charming indian owner, is so nice and thoughtfull, he would do anything to please you, even cook your wafle! Talking about breakfast, you will miss nothing, there is everything to fill you up, from fresh fruits to all kind of breads and cereals and oeufs à la coque! The rooms are clean and the beds confortable. We arrived too late on a saturday to explore the cute town of Drumheller, visi... Read more

This hotel was a clean hotel it is an older one but nonetheless a good one. We arrived at 11:00 pm and it was locked. We just had to call the number on the door and she came in a couple minutes to check us in. The free breakfast was good. The regular cereal, toast, bagels kind of breakfast. I would recommend this hotel.

Very welcoming reception that could teach some larger hotels in Calgary how to be so. The building had just been freshly painted. Free parking. I felt the room had been refurbished; bed was comfortable with 4 pillows; microwave and fridge. The furnishings worked well. A pretty good breakfast was included and I was delighted to have fresh fruit and yoghurt. It was possible to eat healthily. The only downside is the toilet was jammed in to a tight area and one almost had to sit on the seat si... Read more

We have stayed twice lately. Rooms are dated but they are in the process of updating. Rooms are small and bathrooms are very small. No blow dryer in the room. Need to ask for same - which we did not know. Manager very pleasant and helpful. Price was certainly reasonable. On our first trip we can not complain - however we did have an issue on our second stay but in discussion with staff they certainly "made things right". I would stay again as feel they are trying to improve things. Br... Read more

Manager helpful, great breakfast. Did not sleep well as the people upstairs were very loud from 10:30 to 1:30. The room also had a disinfectant smell used to try and cover up an odor in the room. Very easy to find as it is located downtown and located close to most attractions.

Pros: Friendly efficient reception, recently renovated. Older hotel, with basic accommodations. Room was very, and quiet. Comfortable bed, awesome pillows. Very good secure wireless. Breakfast included. Selection of cereals, breads, juice etc. Good selection that met our needs. Cons: East facing room, very hot and tiny a/c unit was unable to cool room down. Filter was dirty and needed to be replaced. Breakfast ended at 9:30, Minor gripes overall. Will stay again.

The room was small, air conditioner did not work, and there was no blowdryer. The room also smelled musty. It looked nothing like the picture online. Although it's centrally located its noisy and there is not enough parking.

The room is reasonably priced for the prime location in the centre of drumheller. It has an in room fridge which was helpful. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly and polite. They offer a laundry service that we took advantage of. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The room itself was clean but definitely older and needs updating. I didn't like the perfumey scent when I first walked in the room and it took an hour to air it out. Also, we stayed on the ground floor in roo... Read more

When pulling in, we were close to leaving right away. It's got horrible parking (only 4 spots in front, then there's small bits around the middle and back) and the most dreary paint job. Being brave, we checked in, which was a veeeeeeery slow process despite already having a reservation. We got one of the front rooms on the bottom, so we had troubles parking close (or at all, sometimes we had to park on the street). The rooms are old, but they have some good points too. Our favorites were 2 sink... Read more

This review is tricky because I can't say that I enjoyed staying at this motel but the staff was really friendly and hard working, which made up a little for our room. The staff at the Econolodge have done some cosmetic updates to an old motel. Pros: - cheaper than staying at a hotel in Drumheller - rooms are nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable - excellent staff: quick check-in and helpful during breakfast - includes a continental breakfast with a waffle station - rooms have a fri... The location of the hotel is very good, cannot expect too much from a small town hotel. the room is in the old side. However, I am very much impressed by the friendliness of the owner/staff of this hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and that is the high light of this stay. The Chinese restaurant next door offers very good dinner. Close to the Passion Play show and other major attractions.

Stayed over night in Drumheller, picked this hotel on a lot the other reviews. Honestly the neighbor hood this hotel is in isn't the nices. No nice decent places to go eat at near (some mom n pop places). Had to drive across town to Boston pizza. Hotel is aged badly, they did a good job renovating it, but there house keepers aren't very good at flipping the rooms for next guests. Parking was a nightmare, when we left I feared loose my spot and had to park down the street. Hotel lobby is very cr... Read more

Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Our room had 2 queen beds, TV, free wifi (with fast connection), a microwave, coffee maker and a mini fridge. We did like that a continental breakfast was included with our stay and the AC worked well. It is what you would expect, but the service was very good and they seemed to care about making sure everyone had a good experience. They also had someone at the front desk 24hrs, or at least very late, which is the reason why we stayed there because w... Read more
