Have stayed here on past trips as it is handy location for me. Staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Not exactly five star, but for the cost it served very well. Dining room is bistro style. Only did breakfast which was good; so cannot comment on dinner menu. Handy to mall and most amenities.

You would guess that this motel would be a bit noisy considering that it is where Line drivers (long haul) stay so the coming and going of trucks would the case for noise but no. That was not the problem. The problem was the noise outside our window where the people gathered to have a smoke. The noise continued and flowed into the hallway well into the morning, 12:45 in fact. I don't usually report my complaints unless I'm staying for more than one night. I just never return and stay again and ... Read more

This Hotel is a Ramada, but does represent the quality level of what a normal Ramada hotel is all about. The hotel looks allot better on line than in person. It is an older building in desperate need of a renovation. The water pressure was terrible. The pool room was dirty. The hotel claims to be non-smoking but the hallways smelled of smoke. Once in the room there was a very musty odor. The staff was friendly on the plus side. I would not recommend this hotel at half the advertised price and we... Read more

They are under renovation and outside of the parking lot was not good. Front staff are OK, but not so welcoming. They use strong citrus Air freshner and it was too much. If you just look for convenience, that is okay, but price should be cheaper.

Hopefully they are planning a Reno on this property as it is looking tired... Bathrooms are old, carpet and furniture are grungy... Stay at the Best Western on North Road- it is a bit more money but much nicer.

good hotel for the price, coupon for a reduction on the breakfast. Convenient to our daughters apartment. Very friendly and helpful staff, extremely friendly waitress in the restaurant , breakfast toast was barely toasted and she took it back to the cook to have it redone. Breakfast was not great, husband had bacon and eggs, toast wasn't toasted, and potatoes were extremely greasy as were the eggs however the price was reasonable.

The hotel restaurant did not have kids meals, and the hot tub had dead bugs floating in it. The hair dryer was faulty as well. It started smoking when my wife went to us it. The hotel did not replace it.

The positive - the location and the front desk staff. The negatives - room was dated and smelled musty. The carpet was visibly stained and dirty. The view from the room was of the huge dumpsters and some of the long term folks that were also staying at the hotel. Not a place that I will take my family again.

The Ramada was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The front desk people were friendly and helpful (calling taxis, recommending places to eat). I have a bad knee so no elevator was an issue but kudos to Gregg at the front desk who offered to carry my suitcase upstairs for me. The attached restaurant was fair. The food was OK but the service was slow.

Very Good may be a touch too high in rating, for this Ramada Inn is rather basic. The rooms are newly renovated, and the location is great for us while visiting family. The price is unbeatable at $98 per night for a queen sized bed. Also, Char 631 Steakhouse is attached to the Inn, and is a great place for breakfasts. It's a great value place to stay. Gloria and the other Desk Managers are friendly and efficient. God Bless

Check in was easy (we had a reservation) and we went right to the room. It was on the second floor and they don't have an elevator. If getting your luggage up the stairs is an issue, better get first floor. First impression: Room was small, had counter sink out side the toilet area (toilet and shower are together in the same room). Older fixtures in bathtub/shower combo but clean. Nice bed, comfy pillows and soft sheets. Slept well, it was very quiet. They do not offer continental breakfas... Read more

We were just staying for the night to visit some friends. We were looking for value because we were spending time with them - not in the room. I was just looking for clean but was pleasantly surprised. The staff are extra friendly. The outside is not fancy but the rooms are clean and updated. This is warmest pool I've ever been in. Everything was really clean. I had a little trouble with the shower head as it needed a repair.

1 night stay - the outside isn't particularly inviting and the hotel may be a little dated, but the room itself was fine and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Really just stay at another hotel. The staff, and I met several, seemed as if we were a nuisance to them. At check in, we were in informed that there was a $100 CAD deposit per night. This is not available on the website, or at least not at a reasonable look. That's $200 for our stay. I've stayed at much nicer hotels with way lower deposits and did not see that coming at all. I love having a soak in the hot tub in the evening. This one scared me. I just don't understand; there is no excuse for this filth. I could personally thoroughly clean the entire pool area with my Canadian Tire pressure washer in a day. Can't believe anyone would attend a swim club there. AND hot tubs need to be kept at 104 degrees to prevent bacteria...everyone knows this. Yes it's too hot for kids...for a reason! Clean that cesspool up!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is convenient to places we need to visit when in Coquitlam. The rooms are fairly spacious and the pool and hot tub are great. The hot tub has jets that actually do more than stir the water. The restaurant attached to this hotel is superb, eat there if you can. I did have one complaint this time. This inn needs a major renovation. However I can't complain. It was a last minute trip over a holiday weekend and it was all I could get. It was a pretty central location to where we needed to be. Parking was free and it was close to the highways. No elevators so if need assistance with getting around ask for a ground floor room otherwise you need to get your bags and luggage up a flight of stairs. One other good thing is that it had a decent sized fridge and a microwave!
