Great service from the young people who work there. Clean, great beds. The breakfast is average but the service makes up for it. They helped set up tours even though it was off season. They made excellent local recommendations and were very helpful.

This was a really cute boutique hotel. The staff was fantastic, room was nice and the location was great. The breakfast was delicious and they had lactose free options which was great for me. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Great location within walking distance to downtown. Breakfast items were all very delicious and options provided for vegetarian and gluten free. Everyone was very welcoming and our room was nicely furnished and very spacious. Would suggest putting some chairs and tables outside on the lawn to allow guests the ability to sit outside to enjoy some fresh air and a snack or cocktail.

Like staying in a beautiful apartment with a kitchenette not at all like your typical bed and breakfast room. More like a really nice hotel but with all the ambience of a bed-and-breakfast. Including a fantastic breakfast with choices perfectly cooked. We will be back and it's the place to stay in Charlottesville. And the staff is outstanding.

Located on a quiet street adjacent to downtown C'town, this enormous converted house is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. My bed was wider than I am tall! Plus, it had a nice seating area, desk, and kitchen. The house also had various seating and social areas, as well as DVDs to borrow. The vibe was very chill and basically felt like a well-appointed college dorm. The breakfast was fantastic, no doubt thanks to graduates of C'town's culinary school. The hotel offer... Read more

We stayed here four nights. It is a lovely place to stay, despite a few shortcomings. The location is very convenient, close to downtown, but in a very quiet residential street. Our visit got off to a good start, with a warm welcome from the young man on Reception. Throughout our stay, all the staff were polite and friendly. We booked a standard room and it was quite charming, attractively and comfortably furnished and equipped with a flat screen tv and microwave. Everything was very clean a... Read more

Loved our stay. Complementary breakfast was excellent. A must try is the pumpkin bread French toast. The Harbor House is a three-story completely remodeled dwelling. Our room, dining room and seating areas were very nice. Make sure that you find out which floor you're going to be on in case you have difficulty with stairs since there isn't an elevator.

A beautiful boutique hotel in Charlottetown. A perfect location between Queen Street and Victoria Park. We stayed in the West Room (third floor) was large, nicely decorated, comfortable and quiet. Stayed for just the one night as part of a twenty-night East coast tour. Left feeling thankful it was only the one night. The walls were paper thin so that the guy/girl snoring in the room adjacent might well have been in bed with me! The beds were hard too (yes, no doubles available) so I hardly slept a wink. The room was also the smallest I've slept in in North America with an en-suite the size of an English telephone kiosk. The room was seriously dowdy and unloved too, so-much-so that I fo... Read more

On arrival staff were very helpful at getting us settled in. We stayed in the basement room which is like a self contained apartment. It had loads of space and was as per the pictures from the website. The only small problem was that some sound from above of people walking around carried below to the room. I didn't have the breakfast but the coffee from the available facilities was lovely. Staff were very eager to help us figure out where to go for food and entertainment in the evening. Location... We stayed in the modest room. That is an understatement. There was no room for any luggage and the shower was so small you couldn't get your hair shampooed as there was no way to get from under the running water. The toilet bowl was dirty as well. My brother has a bigger room and it was only $30.00 more. It was quite nice. Only one available when we booked. The bed was hard and the noise in the was loud. Go with the suite. My husband and I stayed two nights at The Harbour House. It was lovely! The people at the desk were helpful with restaurant suggestions, sightseeing "musts", maps and directions. It is a good location and was an easy walk to everything in town. Breakast was delicious (a menu was presented with about five selections.) Cereal, juice, fruit and pastries were also offered. We stayed in one of the basement suites. It was spacious, clean and relaxing. We were on a twelve day trip, so we very muc... Read more

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at The Harbour House and we absolutely loved this place and the staff. Beautiful place, great location as it is only a 10 minute walk to downtown. I highly recommend it and I would definitely stay here again while visiting Charlottetown.

My wife and I visited Charlottetown and Harbour House about two weeks ago and stayed for 3 nights. Our room, which was very clean spacious, had a small kitchenette which was very helpful over Canadian Thanksgiving and Hurricane Matt. Staff was pleasant and the breakfasts were good. Michael, the owner, was very helpful in recommending things to do and other places to stay in Halifax and Cape Breton.

The Harbour House is conveniently located close to downtown but on a quiet side street. It was the perfect location for us! We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were friendly. The room was clean. The only issue we had was with the bed. It was hard and uncomfortable. We were exhausted after a day of sightseeing and still found it difficult to sleep. However, I wouldn't let this stop me from staying here again.

My husband and I stayed in the East Room the first night, which had 2 twin beds. The large room was extremely clean with fluffy towels and superior bedding. We were staying in Room 15 the second night, which was a kitchenette with a king bed in the basement. This room was very large and comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They told us to just leave our luggage in the first room and they would take it to our other room when it was ready. The location is so easy to g... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights in mid October, during a month long tour of the Maritimes. The staff were excellent, welcoming and extremely helpful, our room was first class and the breakfasts were superb. The location was also very good, in a quiet area but close to the centre, with parking, You really deserve six stars!

The hotel was really nice. The staff were wonderful. We could walk to all the main sites in Charlottetown. We had one of the basement suites. It was spacious and clean. The hotel itself was very cute. Breakfast was very good too.

We had an amazing stay. We enjoyed the property and the room immensely. The staff were knowledgable and friendly. They were able to give us plenty of info about the shops and restaurants located near the inn. we hope to return again in the future.

I stayed at the Harbour House during my two week tour of the east coast. My only complaint was that I could only stay one night. I made a promise to myself that, not only will I return to PEI, but when j do I will that there!!! I mean, the breakfast (which was included) itself is worth returning for!!!

We decided to do a one day trip to see PEI (2 week holiday) during the off season and so glad we did. Amazing Island that packs a bunch of punch. The confederation bridge was 13 kms of true hell for me both ways but amazing looking back at that adventure. The sites, sounds, smells and taste left us wanting to return. The B&B was well located just a few steps for downtown about 1/2 way up the hill. Super cute room (tiny) but great bed, good parking and home was truly amazing. The rooms have all b... Read more
