The room was not luxurious, but was clean and comfortable and what a deal, less than $100.00 and it included breakfast! When I say breakfast, I don't mean a couple pieces of fruit, or a croissant, I mean the choice of fruit, cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, tea, coffee, juice, etc. There was no way you could not find something you liked or come away hungry. Awesome.

The rooms were excellent, as with the front desk personnel and the dining room waitress named Tammy. She went out of her way and wrote out directions to see the town. In the morning, Meagan was more than helpful at the front desk.

Pros - park at the room door, decent breakfast with lots of variety, very clean, friendly helpful staff, good WiFi. Cons - poor shower pressure, no anti skid in bathtub, go safety grab bar in shower, small room. Overall it was still a good value for a short stay.

My sister and I came to PEI for our monthly visit to see our mom and when checked in, they couldn't find our reservation. My sister booked on trivago so the only option was to log in to her email from the lobby computer, unfortunately she couldn't remember her password. Most hotels might say "oh well", but Nancy and Wendy were on a mission and called every hotel in the immediate area to see if we had reservations, then went on their secret website and after much searching they found our reserva... This renovated motel is great. We were instantly upgraded when we arrived without even asking. Rooms are nicely re-done and clean with many added amenities. Dorm sized fridge (not your typical wee fridge) microwave, dishes, coffee maker. It was nice to have a little patio out the back to sit as well. Breakfast was nice and not just your typical continental breakfast. Eggs, bacon etc. It was quite noticable that they were working on making things ready for the high season. Pool maintenance... Was nervous booking a hotel that I wasn't familiar with the hotel chain. But this hotel was very cute, clean and friendly. It is located right in the middle of Charlottetown (in the upper part, near all big box stores) We got upgraded as we went a slow weekend, and our room was very cute. It is motel like, so we got to park right outside our room which I liked. the room looked newly renovated, it was clean and had a cute patio door out to a little table and chairs. The staff was friendly and the... Read more

We found this hotel by chance and found the reception very welcoming, the staff at the front desk as well as their restaurant treated you like family. Our rooms were very nice, clean and accommodating. There is a hot/cold breakfast included and was kept hot and replenished when needed. A good location, off the main drag but close to downtown.

The front desk was so welcoming, gave us tips on what to see, etc. We were upgraded to a housekeeping suite which was perfect for us. The room was clean, well stocked and breakfast was hot with a variety of choices. We needed to print out something and we were politely directed to a PC and printer/fax at no extra charge. We loved PEI and when we return, we are staying here.

I picked this hotel because of all the great reviews but it's a motel and the building is away from the main reception area. It feels a little dodgy and the room feels very old and dirty. Can't leave the curtain open because there is no privacy. There is free breakfast. ..eggs. bacons.juice. coffee. The breakfast is in a bar which the locals come for a drink so you have "outsiders" around the hotel as well at night. But for the price is ok for one night

The front desk receptionist 'Wendy' was so welcoming. I am from Toronto and visited Charlottetown for a business trip. I booked a single room for 2 nights in this motel. Unfortunately the room that was allocated to me had some minor issues with the door lock and I wasn't feeling comfortable staying in it. I spoke to Wendy(receptionist) and she understood my fear and moved me to an upgraded room for no extra cost. I really appreciate her kind, understanding and caring nature towards the guests. ... I was very happy with the value offered by this hotel. Check in was smooth and the staff were very warm and professional. The rooms are a little worn, but still comfortable and a great deal for the rates they offer. Bathroom seemed to have been updated recently and was excellently cleaned. The only real "dislike" is that the shower water temperature seemed to blast from cold to comfortable to boiling hot at random. Free hot breakfast was very enjoyable and the offering of bacon was a great treat... Read more

We stayed for a couple of nights around Canada Day. It was recommend by a family member to us. The room was clean and spacious. We had a tiny balcony to sit on and enjoy some evening drinks. It's not a new fancy hotel but it worth the money. The air conditioner was noisy and there was a lack of hot water for a morning shower. The breakfast was ok, usual stuff. The staff was really nice and friendly. We would stay again.

Looking back at the hotel website after visiting I can identify at most two pictures that were taken in the drive-up rooms. The rest is from the main two-story building. Given that the majority of the rooms are drive-ups that's a bit strange. I wish the hotel had "drive-up" in bold letters written somewhere. Our room was not the freshest one but still ok to stay in. Wi-fi in the room kept disconnecting on multiple devices. Once I turned off a noisy a/c & heater wall unit I could hear the neighbo... Read more

We booked two nights by the pictures on the website, our room was not quite like what they show. We stayed in room 138, the floor looked like it had not been vacuumed, however the bath appeared to be quite clean. We normally stay at Best Western hotels but the did not have any rooms available, so we booked our two nights in Charlottetown in this Canada's Best Value. Wendy, on the front desk was very pleasant and helpful in every way. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything working as it should, including the hot tub. Although we were right on the street, we were not bothered by any traffic noise at all, even though we are country people and notice these things.

The pictures on the website show a handful of upgraded suites and rooms. Most rooms are drive up and very dated. Some had kitchens and outside patios. The rooms were very clean and has most things you need. The breakfast is good and in the attached pub. Bacon and eggs along with all the regulars. Beds were okay and the linen was okay. If you are expecting all this then it is fine. Easily accessible to downtown and main highways. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

Basic motel. It was clean and comfortable and was value priced. It's very close to the airport and we had an early flight so that was appropriate for our needs. Had a mini fridge and micro-wave. Bathrooms are all renovated. Our room had an old smoke smell so although the motel is non-smoking, it may be embedded in the furniture from years ago. Staff were very friendly. I didn't like the room we were assigned, and I regret that we booked a stay at this motel in advance. We were assigned room 136, which proved small, spartanly furnished and inconvenient.
