We spent 2 nights at this hotel. It appears that its good days are well behind it. I don't know if it's due to settling or poor construction, but I don't think any there was a level board on the floor of our unit or the length of the outside hallway. The outside stairway had shims under the stair stringers to try to level them. The rise of the stairs (how high you have to raise your feet) varied from stair to stair - you really had to watch where you put your feet - a person could easily tri... Read more

We spent 7 nights at this location. Although the furniture is old and simple, we had everything we need for a very reasonable price. There is a large backyard with some play structure and a pool. It's a very quiet area outside of the city, but closed to grocery stores, restaurant, wal Mart. The breakfast could have more variety, but it is nice to have your breakfast included with your room. What made us feel even more at home, is the friendly and warm welcome at the front desk and the fantastic ... Read more

We came to Summerside for a PEI Fall Flavours event, and choose this motel/inn mainly on the basis of availability and location. We had not expected to find this small gem. Its grounds are large, well set back from the highway, and the rooms are nicely furnished. The kitchenettes are very well-equipped, we thought, so on one night we were able to bring in a small feast of snow crab legs and wine, picked up from the seafood market and liquor store in Summerside. What sets this place apart is t... Read more

Great spot. Clean. Friendly staff. We stayed in the cozy cabin and it was lovely. Every ammenity is provided with lots of room. You can tell it was recently upgraded and the property is well cared for

Don't expect too much - the furniture is dated, the mattresses have seen better days and the rooms are tiny. Not much sound proofing either - you can hear every word of every conversation that is anywhere close. It is on a highway so there is noise constantly - you will need ear plugs if that bothers you. There was a lack of electrical outlets - we had to unplug the microwave to access an outlet. This appears to be an old hotel - 2 floors and no elevator so if you have stair issues make sure to ... Stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean. Pool was clean. Breakfast was great! The staff is very friendly. Good location. I would return in a heartbeat. The room was a bit outdated (tube tv) but price reflects that. Great value at this motel! Beautiful property and easy access to Summerside and only a short drive to cavendish.

This place exceeded our expectations for a mid-level chain. Room was spotless, service surprisingly personal. The hotel let us keep our car in the parking lot for a week while we biked around the island. The continental breakfast went beyond the usual cookie cutter. Highly recommended.

Large room with kitchen and bedroom. Room was clean and the motel was quite even being full. The am breakfast was a nice touch bacon and eggs, hot and cold cereal could not ask for more to start the day. Would stay again it located 20 mins from the bridge.

Late review, but stayed her last fall. It was a chance location while exploring the island. We wished we would have found it first and then explored from there. Room was clean and exactly what we needed. Staff were so friendly and breakfast was perfect. Would stay there again!

This motel is really clean and cosy. We truly enjoyed our two nights stay with our dogs. PEI is a beautiful place and this motel is the place to go if you are on a budget! We went with our two big dogs, didn't have any problems. Only two little downsides: - The check-in and out are really slow. If you are in a hurry, prepare yourself! The ladies are so nice but they talk a lot (and by a lot, I mean it!). - The breakfast... Super american, the eggs were really too salty and the bacon was thin a... Read more

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was an added bonus and the grounds were well maintained - set well back from the road and ample parking. The pool was warm and very clean, guest laundry was helpful and quick. We had to leave earlier than we expected and the staff accommodated our every request. Our room was spotless.

A two minute drive from Summerside. A good distance off the highway so any noise was not a problem at all. The breakfast was really good and lots of options. The price was really good too. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were on the upper level and it was nice to sit outside on the benches and enjoy the evenings. Staff was very helpful.

We had booked the cabin for three nights. We made this reservation in March so as to avoid not being able to get a reservation. After a wonderful trip out east, we got to this hovel. When we arrived we were informed that the people staying in the cabin before us were insisting that they had booked it for an extra night and that they were refusing to leave. We were told that thankfully they had another room for us and that we would be in the cabin the last two nights. I figured this wouldn't be t... Read more

This was our second year staying here and we will definitely stay here again when we are on the Island! This year we stayed in a suite which had 2 queen beds, one in a separate room and it had a kitchenette, which made it very easy to save money by making our own meals. The breakfast has lots to choose from, hot & cold! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is very quiet and peaceful; we were able to relax and enjoy our time away! We rented half the motel and the cozy cabin for a family reunion end of July 2016. We worked with Melissa to ensure that we all stayed together. The units were as we expected because we have stayed there before but only as a family of 4 not as 26. Our only concern is the air conditioners were not working there best on rooms 6, 7 and 10 and room 26 the bathroom sink the water did not run. Did we complain no, because it was clean and the staff were great. Location was perfect for us.

I was checked in by a very friendly and helpful lady. My room was at the far end of the property away from any traffic on the highway which made it very quiet. Two comfortable beds in the room. A fairly large TV, a small fridge too. The room and bathroom were quite clean. Usual toiletries were also supplied. Every morning a nice breakfast was offered, if you went away hungry it was your own fault. I never used the pool since it was too cold for me. I get cold at 68 degF.

Nice clean and comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff able to provide suggestions for good restaurants and places to see. Easy to find and located very close to Summerside but far enough away that it seemed like a country setting. We will go back again next year.

We visited PEI in 2010 and said we would come back and the only place we would stay was Cotire Cottage at Country Pines. The cottage is fully equipped, has 5 queen beds so ideal for a family gathering, and has loads of room. When you pull up it looks very small from the front. But once in it is massive and from the back you can appreciate the size of this cottage. A substantial breakfast is provided each morning in the main hotel and housekeeping check with you every day to see if there is anyth... Read more

But overall very pleased -tgey also have guest laundry which was great as we were in need of washing a few things for the younger kids

We had a great stay here. We arrived without a reservation and they had one room left. I think it was called the executive room - a beautiful room with a jacuzzi tub and a complementary bottle of wine. Just what we needed after a long drive. The view was wonderful, the pool was nice and the hot breakfast was good. Just a short drive to stores, restaurants etc. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Stay here, you will be glad you did.

This was a older inn that could use a complete face lift. The door lock looks like it had been broken into one time too many. The wood of the doorframe had dried out and warped to the point you could see outside with the door closed. Breakfast was good and the serving room in the loft was good. This was all we could book in advance at the time. We have stayed in Canada best value inns in other places, but this was the poorest.

I specifically searched for a suite that was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. This totally fit the bill. The staff were great. The rooms were clean but not luxurious. The kitchenette was well stocked but everything did look quite used but that was okay. The location was great as well for our purposes. I couldn't enjoy the free breakfast as I'm gluten intolerant and didn't want to take any chances but my daughter said it was very well done.

Rooms are a decent size with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Beds are comfortable and staff are pleasant. Not too far outside Summerside so easy to get around, although not in walking distance. Quiet on a night and evening. Inn is open until mid-October but breakfast options seriously reduced after October 2nd. Advised by staff they decide when breakfast will stop, even though included in room price.

Loved staying in this older property outside of Summerside. Yes, it was an older motel but it was quiet and comfortable. We stayed here four nights and it was perfect for what we needed.
