Very pleased with the accommodation and a great price. Our room very comfortable and clean. Reception area was lovely and staff very friendly. The continental breakfast which was included and was very good. Would definitely stay here again. Would rate it 4.5 out of 5

An average place to stay but quite noisy without much sound proofing. We heard the guests above us "getting busy" ...if you know what I mean. The hotel's solution was complimentary earplugs (lol). Complimentary breakfast in the morning was average. D├ęcor is out of date (very 1980s). Overall, fair price for what you get.

When I arrived the room was very cold as the air conditioner was blasting away. When I tried to turn off the cold air that did not work, neither did the heat. The free continental breakfast said they did not have any waffle mix because it was the weekend "Really" then both the apple and orange juice were out and not replenished. My sister stayed in another room across from us and here room had a very rank musty smell and a covered hole in the roof.

We only stayed overnight passing thru but enjoyed the stay. Even tho on the main road, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Close to other dining options. Continental breakfast was included in room rate. Free WiFi and lots of free guest parking. Guest laundry facility proved very useful. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

This nicely located hotel was all we required for our stay. Short walk to dining and shopping. Small but adequate rooms. Clean. Quite quiet. Very smooth check in. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast provided was quite enjoyable. Good value.

Good location. Hotel is within walking distance of places to eat. Parking is free and was easy to find. We were glad we stayed in Canmore rather than Banff. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly, and breakfast was sufficient. I would stay again if we traveled back to the area.

Pros: great location, had nice mountain view though window was very small, nice continental breakfast, free wifi, free and easy parking, kid friendly, nice lobby Cons: very outdated, sheets were very old and worn and initially our bed had other people's hair on it. Good service though and was easily rectified. Towels were also quite worn and sometimes had grey marks on them. Overall, if you care a lot about new sheets/towels and pristine cleanliness, try somewhere else. Otherwise, it's still ... Read more

We only stayed one night but were surprised at the quality of Rocky Mountain Inn, the room was large and super clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and Wifi was quick, the breakfast was good, with cheese and meats as well as sweet pastries and cereals. The price was reasonable and we loved the complimentary wine and cheese reception in the foyer. We would stay here again most definitely

We've celebrated our 6th anniversary in the hot tub suite. Very neat fireplace and hot tub in your own room. Great value for the price and great building overall. The continental breakfast wasn't much but they also had whine tasting and brownies set in the atrium area. They had a nice rustic look and experience to it. We played some chess while having tea in the lobby's nice comfy chairs. Great service from the staff. Some cleaner were a bit noisy and forgot to leave us bath salts for the second... Read more

We booked this hotel based on reviews on TripAdvisor for our 25th wedding anniversary so we were hoping for a wonderful experience, especially at this price. We booked a room with a fireplace and hot tub, both of which worked well, for 3 nights. The room was spacious, with leather sofa and chair. The young staff keeps everything very clean. However, our room had so many things wrong with it: the bathroom door dragged on the tile floor making a loud grinding noise in concert with annoying squeaki... Read more

We opted to sleep over here on the way back from BC based on all the good reviews. And yes I agree the bathroom and the bedding was clean (though the towels were in need of replacement and the pillows were like rocks)- the rest of the room was covered in dust. Even the couch and lamp shades and this was not one day of dust-we stayed in the suite room with jacuzzi. The worst part was the aircon did not work- it spluttered out a little cool air at a very slow but consistent rate. The room was very... Read more

The bedroom was comfortable, with normal TV,fridge, microwave etc. We had a rear facing room with a small outside balcony, which suited us fine. The town is not walkable, but most people would probably have a car. Coffee etc available in the lounge during the day & between 5-6pm wine & nibbles were on offer for free. The breakfast was average & the only negative point was the noisy cleaning staff in the corridor early morning, which required me to go out in my pj's to ask them to be quiet.

This was a convenient place to stay on the outskirts of Canmore and not too far from Banff. We were on the first floor and had a small balcony overlooking a strip of grass (and car park) on which a tame rabbit sat every day.The room was clean and comfortable and well equipped. I wish fridges weren't put in bedrooms though as their noise keeps me awake all night and they throw out hot air. There was a nice lounge downstairs and one could have free wine there each day at 5-6pm.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was convenient for getting into Banff. Also, there are some very nice restaurants in Canmore. The hotel is simple and decent. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, there was a mini fridge to use in the room and the breakfast was basic, but sufficient. The lobby was nice and the staff tried their best to be helpful and accommodating. The pictures on the website make it look a little fancier than I think it really is. We stayed in a deluxe ro... With lodging prices in Banff fairly steep, a good alternative is to stay in the little town of Canmore, which is only a hop, skip, and a jump's drive to Banff. Canmore features a great number of diverse inns, hotels, condos, and other accommodations with palatable prices. The dining scene is abundant, and there are lots of watering holes. The village is charming, has diiverse shopping options, a Starbucks, a large Safeway market, and even a McDonalds. The Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn is conv... Read more

stayed here for three nights. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are very clean and well maintained. Beds were very compfortable. Front desk is super friendly and helpful. Nice North American breakfast with losts of choices. Located in a very good spot in Canmoe: just at the entrance, if you come from Banff, close to the Visitor Information Center and many places to dine.
