We stayed at this Holiday Inn for 11 days and we got the king suite, corner room on the top floor. Room was pretty good size and had microwave and fridge. The washrooms were nice and clean. The staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast is included and has the basic things like cereal, pancakes, eggs and sausage. I guess staying for 11 days made the breakfast pretty monotonous. Wish I could eat something different everyday. But it's a holiday inn express and they don't expect guests to stay for... Read more

Hotel was new and we'll kept. Continental breakfast. I thought 450 CAD for two nights was a little steep. The parking is a joke. Not enough parking for all patrons. Location is great but not if you have to park 4 blocks away. Recommended.

Spent 2 nights in April 2016 on business. If I could give a 4.5 I would. I found the property to be easily accessible by car from the airport. Contrary to other reviews I had no issue with parking. There is an underground lot which is where I parked. I guess it was a slower time. The hotel is directly across from a C-Train station offering easy access to many areas of the city via transit. You are steps from pedestrian bridge to McMahon Stadium. Service was friendly and they were more than acco... Read more

I am here right now. I have now stayed at every HIE in Calgary and while its not the top choice its not the least either. Positives are heated underground, Ctrain right next door, decent poil and hot tub. Areas to improve: tub is for show only, very small but who takes baths in hotels anyway. Would be nice if the window opened. A little fresh air goes a long way. I booked and paid 2.5 weeks before we arrived to get best rate. Not gonna gripe but room on expedia was 30 bucks cheaper. Our room was modern and clean. Very comfortable beds. Location is good, the CTrain service stops right outside (Banff Trail station) which is 3-5 stops into downtown which makes it easier than taking your car. However the breakfast is disappointing and lets the hotel down. Very basic offering. Juices, tea coffee. Some toast, (stale) bagels. Precooked/ heated egg, sausages. Pancake making machine, a few yoghurts and fruits. Only paper, plastic and polystyrene cutlery and crockery so everything i... Read more

The competition at this price point has become fierce. This location is pretty good but not great. The lobby is modern and clean. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. The breakfast room was large and offered an above average selection of food. My room was clean and pretty big but felt kind of "blah". Rather than having a theme it is obvious that they are trying to be as generic as possible. The room was very clean. The bed was pretty firm, which isn't my personal fav. The wire... Read more

What a great hotel. The rooms were really nice and had a lot more space than I was expecting for a typical HI hotel room. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good as well, featuring, toasted breads, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit of apples, oranges and bananas, eggs a few ways, sausage and or bacon and a pancake machine. Unfortunately of the 3 nights I was there, I only had time to hit the gym twice and both mornings the cardio equipment was not working properly or at all. That was my biggest di... Read more

The plus side of parking, there is an underground garage which is great in the winter. The hotel was very busy on the weekend we stay here and the garage and outside parking lot were full so we had to search for alternative parking. The hotel room had a large walk-in shower which may not be suitable for young children that require a bath. There is a free breakfast and WIFI.

Great room, enjoyed the free breakfast and proximity to CTrain was awesome. Staff was friendly. Wanted to use pool/water slide but forgot our swimsuits! Very clean facility and parking was free. Nice place.

Staying at the holiday in this week. I found that the Staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean and are a good size for a family. Hotel it self is very clean and a modern style to it. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel next time I am in Calgary.
