Room comfortable, clean and quiet. A little on the small side, but adequate. Price was good, only included breakfast for 2 adults and we had 3 and a child. Had to pay extra and wasn't cheap. The breakfast was ok, good variety. Pool was good size, my daughter loved it. Said it was nice and warm for being an outdoor pool. The WiFi was great! Able to watch Netflix no problems. We also forgot our brush and the front desk was very accommodating!

My wife has a regular girls night out at the Kingshead pub across the street and I was invited to join in. We stayed only 1 night but the stay was well worth the executive suite price. Right from check in to check out the service was 5 star. If I get a chance I will definitely stay again.

I checked out but wasn't refunded so I was pretty upset I wasn't even in the room long. Missed buffet breakfast :( pool was so warm and a great set up . Tiny bathroom had mold by the tub, paint on doors chipping, dated carpets, thin walls, service is hit &miss. Front Desk Staff unhelpful and distracted, Service by pool - first waitress great, 2nd never stopped by once served half the pool (area closest to the door) then would go back in. We didn't have much time to plan our trip to Calgary. Found the property online and booked -- the pictures make it look fancier than it is. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed. The price was pretty decent and complimentary breakfast was nice. The food was your typical, generic hotel breakfast (fake eggs etc) so it wasn't amazing by any means. But it filled our bellies. Overall, decent hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located half way between the airport and the downtown centre. It is clean and comfortable with a very pleasant staff. Was pleasantly surprised to see that breakfast was included and was more than sufficient. The staff in the restaurant were also pleasant and attentive. The hotel is located in an area where one can also go for a walk to nearby stores. Th epool looked very inviting but unfortunately i was not able to take advantage of it.

The hotel is very close to two of the main shopping centers and a great selection of restaurants many of which are within walking distance of the hotel. Good location for visiting Spruce Meadows. Breakfast was included in the rate and this was an average buffet style breakfast. Staff in the breakfast room were efficient but not very warm or friendly. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located for my needs. The rooms were nice, with 2 queen size beds, a desk, and a small side table, along with a fridge and lots of closet space. The electrical outlet associated with the desk lamp wasn't functioning. My son and I stayed here as part of a 'boys trip' before I went away on extended business. We wanted something that was well located and near attractions / links to highways - the Carriage certainly had that, plus for $90.00 a night (special rate), how could I refuse? My mistake. Is it too much to ask for when checking in to be greeted with a smile or at least to have the front desk staff provide eye contact? Watch freshness of food and taste - better to under season food rather than too much seasoning, The bacon in the sandwich and liver dish was way too salty and could not eat it. You ruin a fruit salad in appearance and taste by adding fruit that is not fresh. When I asked for bran muffin - was told no more. Can't do anything about room size.

After camping the previous night, this hotel was pure luxury. The bed was really comfortable and I slept very well. The room was big and modern. Nice TV I watched the summer Olympics on. The staff was very friendly. I liked the lovebirds in the lobby. Lots of free parking. Great fast and free wifi. I walked to the grocery store next door and got a great deli sandwich since I really didn't feel like going out. The hotel is not in the central business district, but was easy to find. Breakfa... The rooms were smaller than average sized rooms. Overall the rooms and bathrooms were clean, the amenities took care of what you needed and comfortable beds. Fitness room has newer equipment, heated pool and hit tub were relaxing. Didn't have a chance to enjoy the steam room.

Our room was extremely noisy and somewhat dated. It's an OK Hotel but there are better options for similar rates in Calgary. Location and Parking are great. Buffet Breakfast pretty good. Clean. Don't stay near elevator shafts !!!

Nice hotel, rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are slightly terse, but otherwise accommodating. No frills here. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Only small issue is for short people like me, the towels can be a bit annoying to reach.

This hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean and quiet. My smoke alarm went off two times with the shower steam, which I didn't appreciate. Staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast option and restaurant was decent. This hotel is a good price, and well-located if you need to be in the south end of the city.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The dog area was always clean and had poop bags available. The hallways were quiet and sleeping was wonderful. We will stay here again with our dog and will recommend to others. Much better than other hotels we've stayed at and at a decent price.

The upgrades to this hotel since I was much much younger are fantastic. Will definitely stay here again. Traffic noise not even noticeable, bed comfortable, room very clean. Room temperature was great, even though you can't regulate it yourself.

We held an event in one of the meeting rooms as well as stay as an overnight guest. Both experiences were excellent. The staff was exceptional in ensuring our needs were met. The meeting room was excellent, as was the catering. The room was luxurious. Highly recommend.

The Carriage House Inn is a very nice hotel, we have stayed here before for a wedding a few years ago. We needed a hotel for one night while visiting Calgary. The beds are very comfortable and the included breakfast was also very good.

We stayed here one night as part of a little family getaway. The location suited our needs, and the price was right. The room was a bit small, but adequate with a nice size tv and fridge. What really stood out for me was the terrific front desk staff, which can make or break your enjoyment level. I had a few fairly minor issues, and was actually feeling like a bit of a pest, but I couldn't have asked for better service in the attention that was given. The Carriage House is getting a 5 rating fro... Read more

Nice hotel. Definitely been updated lately. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The only thing I didn't like was that the cleaning staff hauled garbage bags into the elevator while guests were in there. Definitely not appropriate.

We were in Calgary for two days. Unfortunately, Heritage Park had just changed to winter hours. We had chosen the hotel based on the locatio of Heritage Park but it still worked out. Hotel was really nice staff gave us a great restaurant recommendation in Chinatown. Baked goods for sale iin lobby were excellent. All in all a very good experience.

We stayed for one night on a weekend when 3 weddings were being held at the hotel. This made parking a challenge (there is an overflow lot across the street from the hotel) but overall a nice hotel to stay at.

Nice clean hotel for a long weekend. Stay included breakfast which was basic but good (egg, potato, sausage, bacon, toast, fruit and cereal). The hotel is a 15 minute drive to Spruce Meadows. The rooms had a keurig and a fridge which was nice to have. The hotel is located on a strip ver close to fast food and restaurants. The staff were nice friendly. Elevator music was a bit odd.

good location. great dining (but too short hours) on site. great pet owners recognition. a bit small rooms and bathroom. efficient for one or two nights, not so sure about longer stay. using key card in the elevator is a bit annoying. A little confusing process at complimentary breakfast (which itself was very good).

Facilities worked well for the AMA conference. We had good rooms for large & small events. My room was clean and quiet. the food was good and nicely served. I noticed that some people were getting gluten free meals. There was ample parking. It is quite easy to get to, as Macleod Trail is a good driving route.

Pet friendly hotel with a fantastic feel. Wonderful restaurant and outdoor pool and whirlpool. If we come back to Calgary, we're coming back to this hotel. The manager even closed the curtains from the restaurant overlooking the whirlpool so that my wife and I could have privacy. Top notch all around.

We stayed 5 days and the room was always made up nicely, the breakfast, which was included had a good variety of hot choices. The beds were very comfortable and we felt rested in the morning. The main restaurant served excellent food. Best prime rib in town! Next time I would eat there instead of trying to find somewhere else.

This hotel is so good, it has an amazing buffet breakfast if you go for the bed and breakfast option which is well worth the money. Convenient for getting to the Outlet mall and zoo and easy to find off the highway. The staff are wonderful, it is a family run hotel and it shows in the service they supply. Can't say enough about this hotel, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The Carriage House Inn, located about 15-20 minutes drive from downtown Calgary looks like a large motel, pretty suitable for families who arrive by car, since it offers ample parking day and night. Rooms are fairly sized and rate includes breakfast. Due its relativity modest prices, by far the cheapest in our two weeks tour of western Canada, it gives very good value for money. Without a car though it could be problematic getting around if you stay for few days. Wi-Fi is free. For a three star ... Read more
