Room comfortable, clean and quiet. A little on the small side, but adequate. Price was good, only included breakfast for 2 adults and we had 3 and a child. Had to pay extra and wasn't cheap. The breakfast was ok, good variety. Pool was good size, my daughter loved it. Said it was nice and warm for being an outdoor pool. The WiFi was great! Able to watch Netflix no problems. We also forgot our brush and the front desk was very accommodating!

My wife has a regular girls night out at the Kingshead pub across the street and I was invited to join in. We stayed only 1 night but the stay was well worth the executive suite price. Right from check in to check out the service was 5 star. If I get a chance I will definitely stay again.

About 10min walk from C Train makes it convenient for most locations. Had a good appetizer platter at Peanuts pub. Comfortable and clean, quiet. Express check out. TV auto shuts off. Not a busy weekend so we were able to check in a little early

I almost stayed in this hotel:( checked myself and hubby in and 2 hours later my babysitter called to say my baby was sick! I checked out but wasn't refunded so I was pretty upset I wasn't even in the room long. Missed buffet breakfast :( pool was so warm and a great set up . Hotel room was really nice and had great little touches to it :) hope I can stay longer in the future

The good - Comfy Bed, Great Pool, Free Parking! The bad - Double billed- still waiting on resolution. Tiny bathroom had mold by the tub, paint on doors chipping, dated carpets, thin walls, service is hit &miss. Front Desk Staff unhelpful and distracted, Service by pool - first waitress great, 2nd never stopped by once served half the pool (area closest to the door) then would go back in. Tried one of the restaurants, waiter was fine, food was mediocre at best. Star rating definitely doesn't matc... Read more

We didn't have much time to plan our trip to Calgary. Found the property online and booked -- the pictures make it look fancier than it is. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed. The price was pretty decent and complimentary breakfast was nice. The food was your typical, generic hotel breakfast (fake eggs etc) so it wasn't amazing by any means. But it filled our bellies. Overall, decent hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located half way between the airport and the downtown centre. It is clean and comfortable with a very pleasant staff. Was pleasantly surprised to see that breakfast was included and was more than sufficient. The staff in the restaurant were also pleasant and attentive. The hotel is located in an area where one can also go for a walk to nearby stores. Th epool looked very inviting but unfortunately i was not able to take advantage of it.

The Carriage House Inn is in a great central location providing great value at an affordable price which includes the breakfast buffet. The hotel is very close to two of the main shopping centers and a great selection of restaurants many of which are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff of the hotel go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as it can be without being intrusive. The hotels swimming pool is heated and open all year long. In addition they have a hot tub, stea... Read more

Good location for visiting Spruce Meadows. Breakfast was included in the rate and this was an average buffet style breakfast. Staff in the breakfast room were efficient but not very warm or friendly. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. I did have a slight problem on check in when I was allocated a room that had not been cleaned, this was rectified very swiftly by the front desk and did not affect my stay in any way. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything I needed... Read more

The hotel was easy to find and was well located in terms of friends and family that we wished to visit. The room was clean and cosy and the amenities were top notch. The free breakfast was very good and a real bonus. A very excellent place to stay. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is very new looking and was very clean. The rooms were air conditioned and quiet with a nice view of Calgary from our upper floor. They have 3 good restaurants with good pricing. Our kids had fun in the pool.

The hotel was well located for my needs. The rooms were nice, with 2 queen size beds, a desk, and a small side table, along with a fridge and lots of closet space. The electrical outlet associated with the desk lamp wasn't functioning. The hotel had switched to new, very thick pillows 2 weeks before our stay, and the pillows were much too thick for us to sleep on. Since the hotel could not provide any regular pillows, we had to go to a store and purchase a couple of pillows - not what you ex... Read more

We loved this hotel! Peanuts lounge was cool. They served drinks by the pool. All staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable (as long as you like soft, thick pillows). Complimentary hot breakfast was pretty good. Only complaint is the elevators- the one on the right didn't always stop on the floor you wanted.

My son and I stayed here as part of a 'boys trip' before I went away on extended business. We wanted something that was well located and near attractions / links to highways - the Carriage certainly had that, plus for $90.00 a night (special rate), how could I refuse? My mistake. Is it too much to ask for when checking in to be greeted with a smile or at least to have the front desk staff provide eye contact? It was worse upon checking out; not even asking "how was your stay"; it was as if we we... Read more

I stayed here for 4 nights with some friends for a wedding. We were all from out of the country so we didn't plan on staying in the hotel long other then to sleep and to take advantage of the free breakfast in the mornings. My sons wedding and reception went very well. Food and facilities were good. Lot of my invited guests had huge problems at the front desk. Relatives had suits booked. At checkin were told your room is not ready even though similar suits, rooms were ready and vacant. Guests could not get ready for wedding at 3PM as they were not given the room in time to get ready. Spending huge amount of money did not qualify for little bit of accomodation from front desk.

Had we not been "required" to stay here with our sports team I would not have chosen this hotel. Although the rooms were clean and comfortable the overall stay was very sterile and uninviting. Check in/check out was just ok. Wasn't very friendly. Just felt like I was another room number checking in. I'm used to hotels with free breakfast and a very homey atmosphere. I found this hotel was more for guests who were attending an event at the hotel like a wedding or conference. It didn't feel... Read more

I invited my managers for breakfast at this hotel. Place was packed so good sign that food is rotating. The buffet was in the inner room. I was expecting some cold food (cold cuts, croissant etc... but there was nothing. be careful they only serve 4 hot items (bacon, potato, scrambled eggs & hot dogs). After that, there was the cereal & milk. i think there was a spit in bottle & another spit in the cereal bowl (regular corn flakes) so my appetite was lost. A fruit cut bowl was there & was good. ... We had called to confirm that we could have two queen beds and a cot for 5 adults in the suite. They had assured us that it wouldn't be a problem in the superior suite. We arrived and there was no cot in the room, and the room was way too small for the cot. We arrived and the front desk tried to sell us a second room and said that we were wrong and this room would not fit a cot - even though my bill clearly states that we have requested a cot. The beds were very comfortable, clean rooms with good quality linens and housecoats. The hotel was older but has been renovated so the bathroom was quite small but the large walk-in shower was a bonus! I rated 4/5 on most services and the only 1 recommendation is that the hall carpets, need to be cleaned or replaced due to wear and tear.

We stayed here with our team of high-school athletes for a Nationals tournament, under the "stay and play" policy. Group check-in took some time as they were also hosting several other travelling teams. There were no complaints from our kids or our coaches about the conditions of the rooms. Furniture was a bit dated but in good condition. During our stay, teams were "block booked" for the breakfast, which had satisfactory healthy options. Because of the number of teams staying in the hotel,... Read more
