My fiancee and two other couples spent the night on Saturday. We all found the hotel to amazing. The cost was very fair and location was perfect. We had some room service brought up by a very friendly staff member. And the food was very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I recently stayed at this Calgary Marriott, the service is not bad if you are gold or platinum elite member for Marriott. The reason I said that because I had not so happy experience with the front desk staff. I walked in to the hotel front desk for check-in like other guests, I am elite platinum member so I wait at the line said "Elite member only". When I was on the line up, there was a gentleman suddenly cut my line, passed in front of me and the font desk staff did not say anything to him bu... Read more

We spent one night at the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel after my wife was provided with a complimentary night due to staying at other Marriott properties for work quite a bit. We were very impressed! After valeting the car at the front ($20 for the night during the weekend) the check-in process was very straight forward. It was my wife's birthday and they upgraded us to a junior suite. We went up to our room and were very impressed with the newly renovated rooms. The bathroom is great and th... Read more

Great location and excellent service. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive. This hotel is adjacent to Stephen Ave so you're right in the middle of the action but it's also noisy at night if your room faces Stephen Ave. overall, the hotel is clean and modern and the rooms are large and comfortable.

First time I've been here since the renovations were done. Well done, Marriott! The place looks and feels great. Front counter staff were amazingly helpful, courteous, and happy. Definitely recommend the new restaurant 18 Emporium. The breakfast buffet was really good and the service here outstanding as well.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the friendliness and cleanliness and walking distance to attractions and stores. The only suggestion I would make is to clarify the WiFi fee. Upon signing up, it says there is a dollar value per day yet it does not charge the room, which is great but it can be confusing. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Hotel is a very modern facility in a great location close to all downtown sites. I stayed at the Downtown Calgary Marriott as part of a convention with a large group of attendees. The hotel was able to easily handle the number of guest checking in and out at same times. A shout out to the Hotel housekeeping staff for any excellent job of keeping rooms spotless.

She upgraded us to a corner suite overlooking Stephen Avenue and recommended the $40/couple M Club which included anytime snacks/beverages as well as breakfast the next morning. Well worth the value. This hotel is very central and is very well run. It's right next to Calgary Tower. The rooms are as expected but with a nice touch in the design. We stayed two people in one room and if you want breakfast the price is then pretty much the same if you get lounge access instead, which include breakfast and 24/7 snacks, drinks etc. You are welcome to bring it to your room as well. I used the swimmingpool a couple of time. Nice and clean and you have it pretty much for yourself.

When a hotel is designed really well from the ground up afterthoughts become redundant. This Hotel managed that and the architect and interior designer need to receive some serious plaudits. My wife and two year old stayed at this hotel on a trip to Calgary to see the zoo. We had a very comfortable king bed and all three of us slept very well. The location was great. Close to restaurants and pubs. Valet parking was super convenient. We ordered room service for breakfast. It showed up right on time and was hot and delicious. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stepped out of hotel and found ourselves adjacent to Calgary tower and almost on Stevens Ave where Calgary action is focused. Hotel modern and comfortable with attentive and helpful staff.would stay there again.

We arrived in Calgary , sans luggage courtesy of Air Canada, and were greeted with open arms and a warm welcome. We checked into our room with no problems and were ably assisted by hotel staff in tracking down our missing luggage, no thanks to Air Canada! Our accommodations are clean, modern and well maintained. The "Club Level" hospitality room is lovely with many options for food and drink. Mauro, at the front desk, was particularly helpful in all matters pertaining to Calgary itself, the h... Read more

Our family stayed at the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel at the start of the Calgary Stampede. Most certainly a busy time, but this hotel is ideally located the see the Stampede Parade and also in walking distance to the Stampede Grounds. Our challenge at/with the hotel is that we booked through Expedia. We made it abundantly clear that the one room had 3 people (a young adult and 2 teenagers) and the other room 2 adults. We even called in a day in advance of arrival to confirm the rooms are re... Read more

We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be really handy. We didn't need a car until we were leaving the city. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, and it us right opposite the tower! The car rental office was just across the road which helped too. Staff were very polite and friendly. We booked the Club floor which included the use of the lounge. The snacks were very nice - we also enjoyed a homemade tomato basil soup that was awesome. Terrific candy selection ??? Bar staff were gre... Read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Marriott beds always good. Parking is expensive no onsite parking so must use valet. We bought room through Expedia so didn't get breakfast included in our stay. However found a great place called Wise and Wright very good organic food.
