Had a lovely big room with a 4-poster bed and drapes around it. Modern bathroom and of course, TV and we could get CNN and BBC. One drawback is that it is a taxi ride away from the main area. Siem Reap is very hot and it is good to do any tours in the morning and relax back at the hotel in the afternoon. Most tours do this.

We arrived at the Angkor Heritage hotel after travelling for 15hrs to find that our booking that was made 8 months previous was not to be honoured. We were initally very angry as we had not been informed and the staff were giving me different reasons for the move. I have to say that despite my initial annoyance the staff treated us with respect and made sure we were transported to one of their sister hotels where we were upgraded for our trouble. The manager of this hotel was a frequent visitor ... Read more

It is truly a very average hotel with some pros and plenty of cons. Nothing special whatsoever! Stayed there last year whilst travelling across south east Asia with my girlfriend. Let's start with the positives - spacious clean rooms with comfortable beds; large and fairly clean bathrooms; tuk-tuk type taxis available on doorsteps; pool on the site. Now let's look into the negatives... Staff members polite only if you tip them, they are very forceful with selling you Angkor Wat visiting packages... Read more

We recently stayed here for two nights and were completely taken back with the the level of service we recieved, particularly from Sothea, who worked the front desk. As soon as we arrived he treated us with cold towels and apple juice. His demeanor was very respectful and always had a smile on his face. The room was very spacious and we loved the view of the garden we had. Right next to our patio, was a koi fish river that was a nice surprise. The bathroom has a nice rain shower that feels gre... I'm a frequent repeater guest since AHBH opened in 2014 (approx. 40 room/nights) and must sadly admit that this property has an obvious Management problem (probably not from the Industry). Furthermore, it looks like the owner is reticent to inject new funds to tackle longstanding shortcomings. To name a few: - leaking pool (since Oct 2015) - pool lightning spots float loose on their electrical wires in the pool (electrocution danger) - doubtful pool water quality (murky), filtering system off ...
