So where do I start?? Check in, room not ready at 3pm. Staying for 4 nights and asked for a nice quiet room. .....ha ha finally got into room and air conditioning doesn't work ( is already 41 outside) and loud douf douf music pumping outside. When I went down stairs to complain was told no more rooms and the music will go till midnight. They finally sent someone to look at air conditioning ( who had no idea) and after some time found a new room. This room there is no hot water.....!!!! Omg ... Read more

This is a small hotel tucked away down a side street. The rooms are standard but comfortable. Air con works but is noisy. There is a tiny pool on the ground floor. On the roof top there is a bar restaurant. We had one dinner - it was ok but extremely cheap. Breakfasts were fine - the staff will make an omelette for you, definitely recommended. Overall the facilities are only average but it is good value and the staff are really nice: always wanting to help, very efficient (booking taxis etc) an... Read more

There are essentially 3 types of hotels in this area: luxury ($500+/night) budget and rough. This is on the quality side of the budget group. I'm not sure the cost since it was part of a tour group. The rooms are far from new and could use a little TLC, but nothing really bothersome and everything works well. Even the AC which is a bit noisy and the plumbing which is a bit too hot (thank the 100 degree air!). The rooftop bar/restaurant is very relaxing and away from the dust (in dry season). Th... We were booked in here as part of a tour and it was a real disappointment. The air con is awful- noisy and inefficient. It was 38°C. The staff were friendly and got us a pedestal fan. The pool was pleasant however seating is very limited. Our last night there, we had three blackouts overnight....the air con doesnt come back on with the power.

First thoughts when checking in to this hotel was 'Boutique'!? Don't think so. Everything about it is tired. The room was dated and unkempt, the furniture tired and old. The safe didn't work so we called reception and a maintenance man fixed it. Next day it failed again so the reception lady gave us the hotel master key (which we then had to carry around with us) When we went to collect our room key at reception we were asked to pay for the water from our mini-bar. We said that we had not had wa... Read more
