The owner of the hotel runs a training program for young people from the countryside for jobs in the tourist industry (the bedrock of the Siem Reap economy). These are the people who will take care of you. Although they are obviously in the early stages of developing their English skills, they are incredibly attentive and helpful. The hotel is a bit outside the center of town, which provides a break from the hubbub of the tourist haunts, and is organized like a small, private oasis, with th... Read more

Spent 4 nights with ours and another family with 4 kids aged 12-14. The hotel Was perfect. We were able To have 2 adjoining rooms and lots of space for our families. The pool is small but quaint beneath the sun. Warm in temperature but refreshing non the less. Staff were very friendly and attentive bit as joyed by another, their English is less perfected. Sometimes awkward for clarifying complicated requests. Other than that we had a great time. Clean rooms. Very quiet. Though away from "pub s... Read more

I stayed in this hotel last year with my partner good points: Clean facilities Very accommodating staff Spa within hotel Lovely pool area There were no overwhelmingly negative points. I found the hotel to be slightly too quiet for my tastes but some people enjoy that atmosphere. The staff are excellent, and the hotel will lend you a Cambodian phone if you want dropping off and picking up from places (this was free of charge!) The food was lovely. I would stay here again.

I stayed at a couple places during my Cambodia adventure and this boutique was my favorite. The price was very affordable and was just as nice as some of the hotels I stayed at for triple the price. I loved the jungle scenery, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. The room was modern and clean. And the shower actually had hot water. I will definitely book for my next Siem Reap adventure.

A little gem of a hotel. The two most memorable aspects of my trip to Cambodia: one was gazing upon the splendor of Angkorwat and the other was the amazing hospitality provided by this hotel. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and efficiently run. The decor and ambient is superb. However, the special sauce of this hotel is the customer service provided by the staff. Their hospitality, warmness and was excellent. This is what lead me rate to the hotel five stars and left a lasting impressi... Read more

Great spot a short distance out of the chaos of pub st. The hotel provides a great free tuk tuk service that will drop you in town and pick you up (if you're heading home before 10.30pm). They give you a local phone to arrange and it's very easy. Breakfast to top notch and the pool is lovely. The credit card facilities weren't working when we went to check out but they were able to arrange at a neighbouring hotel without much fuss.

Stay here!!!! Can't speak highly enough of this place! The room was exceptional and the hospitality was even better! The staff were so so friendly, gave us free lifts to and from town, great advice and cocktails. We took their tour of Angkor Wat, it was good value and they made life so easy for us. I've been to some fantastic places in SE Asia but this is the best!!

The Moon Boutique was a great place to while away the heat of the days we spent exploring Angkor. Our room was very spacious and the AC worked well--very necessary! The pool area was lovely even if the pool was not super cold--it was still refreshing to take a dip after a long, hot and dusty morning of exploring the temples. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The bathroom was huge--almost as big as the room! One perk of the location a little bit out of town was that our ro... Read more

PLUS: Beautiful pool and rooms, super friendly service incl. fairly prices organization of drivers and tours. Also since the hotel isn't really centrally located, their tuck-tucks will drive you for free almost anywhere in the city. You'll also get a pre-paid phone so that they can pick you up from the center. A warm place with polite and helpful staff. Even though it is far from the central city , their free tuktuk service compensates beautifully. We used their tuktuk service on all days to visit the town and temples. Airport pickup and drop service is complimentary and reliable. Rooms are clean, pool is great as well and dining facilities are convenient. Maybe, they could offer more options in breakfast....but again, with only 15 rooms, it may not be feasible. In short, good value for money.

Although one night we attempted the walk and it was not far at all, a nice stroll. If your are doing ankor wat go directly to the "tomb raider" temple. It opens at 7.30 and you bet the crowds by going there 1st.

A friend of us recommended this hotel and we just love it!! Staff are very nice and helpful. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, wish have more selection. Free tuk tuk shuttle from and to the hotel which is wonderful. You also can ask the hotel to pick you up from the bus station or from the airport as well as taking you to the airport. Highly recommended!

This small hotel is little out-of-way from the major hotel district of the town and its entrance is very unpretentious. However, inside the rooms arranged around a small pool are large and very clean, each with its own small sit-out facing the pool. The bathrooms large, but somewhat basic, though very clean. A small restaurant serves morning breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. Mainly serving cambodian dishes, the it managed to meet our rather unusual request for strictly vegetarian dishes,... We have spent 5 nights at this hotel with our 2 children. We had a fabulous experience and will definitely go back to this hotel the next time we are in Siem Reap. There are less than 20 bedrooms. The pool is lovely in a very nice tropical garden. The staff is welcoming and lovely. They have a few Tuk Tuks and they will drop and pick up you in the city. The location is great - quiet but at 5 minutes from the center. The room was big enough to accommodate the 4 of us. Great value for money!!

Rooms are spacious, clean with all facilities. All the gentle helpful staff from reception to drivers were a pleasure. The hotel is out of town and peaceful with a lovely pool and garden area. The tuk tuk service with mobile phone to anywhere at anytime made our stay. Exceptional value. Highly recommended

We stayed at the Moon boutique hotel as part of short trip to the temples of Angkor and on our honeymoon. We hot a good deal booking on the last minute. We arrived by a night bus from Phnom penh and the hotel arranged a pick up with a tuk-tuk at 05:00... We got an early check in and all the help we needed to start our stay. The hotel offers free tuk-tuks to the city and it's really convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful with great rooms and a wonderful pool. Staff are super friendly and he... Read more

We came to Siem Reap for the temples and stayed for this hotel. It's a little way outside of the main town, but this is not a problem as they operate a free tuk tuk service to drop and collect you when you want to go out. The food and service in the hotel was excellent, so we ate in the restaurant a couple of nights when we couldn't be bothered to go out. The staff are very friendly, and there are lots of them! Room was nicely air conditioned and cleaned daily, with a mini bar fridge when we ... Read more

If you do not want to stay right in the middle of the town but still only be a 10 minutes walk away from the center we really recommend this hotel. It offers a free shuttle from the airport and into the town if you do not want to walk the way. Especially the staff was really attentive and helpfull. The rooms are clean and the pool has a nice and chilled atmosphere.

Very nice chill relaxing place with very helpful staff, clean rooms, good food, chill pool, and a nice happy hour. Free tuk tuk to town and back with a phone they give you to call them when your ready for pickup. Only downfall is the cost of laundry service. Bring your clothes into town.

This was my very first boutique hotel and it was a fantastic experience. Beautiful villa style resort with a pool and restaurant located in the center just like the photo. The staff are amazing, they give you a little old school mobile phone and provide you with a ride downtown until 10:30 at night. The reason I'd like to give the hotel a 4.5 is there were small bugs on the wall of the bathroom but I'm just being picky. Great hotel!

Good: Beautiful facility, lovely staff. Bad: They permit smoking, so the smell of smoke gets into the rooms of non-smokers. The hotel is about a mile from east of the river, so it's remote from places to walk and restaurants. I saw a rat running through the near by the pool.

We visited the day spa and pool for the day. The restaurant was excellent and the spa and pool the same. The staff were very attentive, highly recommend staying there, even though we didn't. The rooms looked lovely.

This was the last stay on our Asia tour and didn't know what to except while driving down a small questionable street. This place was a delight and the staff was very helpful getting us a private tour to the WATS. I all but gave up trying and told my nephew the bad news so he went to the front desk and told them the situation. Within 30 min. we were on our way. They saved the day, no, they saved the trip to Cambodia and I will always be greatful

Amazing little hotel! Staff were more than accommodating, food was great, rooms were clean and quite large. Pool was great for a dip and a chat to other travellers at any time of day, especially during happy hour with cheap cocktails! Free airport transfers as well as a free tuk tuk into town when you need to visit beer street! Though once you've settled into a few drinks around the pool, leaving is definitely the last thing on your mind! Definitely stay here, you won't be disappointed.

A charming small hotel set around a nice pool, about 2 km from the centre of Siem Reap. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, bathroom ditto, but shower water temperature was lukewarm at best for the 3 days we stayed. Not a major problem when it's hot outside. Wi-fi was OK but the underlying internet was a bit wobbly. Breakfast was good too, with some fresh pastries, and cooked options. There was a fresh fruit bowl. Coffee was excellent. Staff here were always delightful and most obliging... Read more

My friend and I stayed here in a twin room in late October. The staff couldn't do enough to help us in any way they could. The rooms were very clean, great aircon (a welcome escape from the heat!) and the bathroom was lush. The swimming pool was also clean and fresh, lovely to swim after a days walking around the temples! The breakfast was great-loads of bread, juice and tea. We didn't eat dinner there but we got a few poolside snacks which were nice. Drinks were $2.50USD which is still cheap ... Read more
