I booked to stay in the Tanei Boutique Villa for 3 nights in February and had selected this hotel based on reviews and photos displayed on Agoda. When arriving at the hotel and being shown to our room, I was shocked and disappointed at what had been publicised online and what was the reality; the difference was deplorable. The hotel (aside from the street entrance) was in disrepair and in desperate need of refurbishment. The place was dark, dated and gloomy, the paint was coming off the wall... Read more

My girlfriend and I stayed here from 11th till 13th December. We had a good comfy stay. As we stepped into the hotel compound, it was calm, clean with a peaceful zen kind of ambience. A small garden with a mini bridge on a small pond with fishes and a Buddha statue added with surrounding greeneries and not forgetting a clean pool at the side. Complete transformation from the dusty street to paradise ambience. We were greeted with a humble smile and orange drink by the receptionist and briefed ab... Read more

This hotel has very little to recommend. They advertise free airport rides, but that did not happen. It is very dark and amenities are few and far between. The staff had limited English skills and the breakfast buffet was very poor. On the positive side, food ordered from the kitchen was very tasty and quite cheap. Also, the staff was friendly, given their limited skills .I recommend spending a little more money and staying at a more upscale hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights, free airport transfers via tuk-tuk. Breakfast buffet was good with scrambled eggs, pancakes, rice or noodles, sausage (which means hot dogs in south east Asia) fruit and some dried sausage and pickles. The food in the restaurant is very good with big portions and great prices. Staff are all excellent, some have limited English but are all wonderful people. Very clean and comfortable. Great pool area which is awesome after a long day in the temples. Very short walk to... Read more

The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. There was also cable TV. At a quiet location, but still not far from the night market, which was a short 5 mins walk away. There was a nice little swimming pool, where the guests frolicked in day and night. There were power supply blackout a few times, probably due to the heavy downpour during that period.

Stayed here for 3 nights total. At first I wasn't too impressed (reasons below), but ended up really enjoying our stay here and not wanting to leave! I booked the day before we arrived and the room included 2 way transfers so immediately emailed regarding pick up. No response to 3 emails, we had to get the bus company to call them when we arrived in Siem Reap to which we were told they were picking us up. Looks like they did get my emails but no response which put me on edge as to how we were g... Read more

From the welcome you got at the reception, refreshments and a fruit basket, you could feel the decadence of luxury. We had a triple room and it had a balcony and pool view. There was clean towels and bedding, free bottled water and free toiletries. It is a short walk to the night markets and 'pub street'. Breakfast was includes and there was the choice of a western menu or a local menu. We had an evening meal here as well. Good value for money. This hotel was the icing on the cake for my holid... We've stayed here several times and keep coming back. The rooms are comfy with ac and the pool is cool.Breakfast noodles are delicious and the beer is cold. They picked us up at the airport.Hiring a tuk-tuk for day excursions is no problem.Close to the night market and an easy walk to the pub street area and the old market.

Well, room was clean. And the service/staff pretty good. Until they forgot that i had told them i wanted to see the sunrise in ankor wat. Hence they forgot to arrange the tuk tuk for me. Quite disapointing as i was really looking forward to it.. as its known to be wonderful.. :( my mood got off.. even if the guy apologized on behalf of others who had forgottten. This is something you never forget. So make sure the person writes it down correcly in the notebook if you had booked a tour :)

First of, the welcome greeting is formidable. They receive you with cold towels, a lemonade and a bite. Secondly, utterly helpful and attentive staff, they are always willing to be at your disposal. The rooms are fresh, considering that it can be as hot as 40C during the day and they have minibar, comfy beds and well equipped private bathrooms. But, mainly, the swimming pool is just God! I fully recommend this place, everything was just marvelous!
