This hotel really lives up to the excellent reviews. The rooms are lovely and cool and the pool is beautiful with delightful touches by the staff - complimentary cool water, shoulder massages and coconut ice-creams. Without a doubt the best hotel we stayed at in Cambodia.

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of our visit to Anghkor Wat.The hotel itself is an oasis of calm and tranquility with a superb pool and good restaurant.Rooms are 5 star with very good air con which you need, but the main reason for coming to this resort is the staff, they were the friendliest and most helpful staff you will ever meet.Nothing was too much bother and this hotel is a reason to come to Cambodia on its own.

From the moment you arrive you know this is going to be an excellent hotel with cold towels and a refreshing welcome drink provided during a very efficient check in. We can only echo what everyone else has said the staff are excellent, very welcoming, always smiling and you are made to feel like a valued guest. It's the small things that make the difference, such as having tea/coffee and pastries in the lobby for those early morning (5am) temple visits and also providing a takeaway breakfast i... Read more

Having to pick thru all the choices and prices and location options when descending on Siem Reap was a bit daunting. We were simply going to have to go with what past reviewers were saying and going with certain gut instincts that the Shinta Mani was going to work for us. Granted there were more lavish hotels, with pricier itineraries but in reality we were traveling to see the temples and everything else would be icing on top. We travel quite a bit and of course we have certain comfort creature... Read more

We spent 4 nts here last month,.2 as part of an organised tour and another 2 on our own. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff and service levels at the Shinta Mani. Staff always obliging and never did we see one without a smile on their face. The boys at the entrance were helpful and the cyclo drivers (that are used and supported by the Shinta Mani Foundation), spoke good english and were knowledgeable and accommodating. The list of likes would be too extensive to list here. We have travelled to most countries , but have never stayed at a hotel that comes near to Shinta Mani standards. We stayed at the Shinta Mani for 4 nights as a family with 8 year old twins. The hotel is perfection - calm, relaxed, wonderful service, fabulous food. We loved the food so much that we couldn't be bothered to go elsewhere. The staff could not have done more to ensure that our stay lacked for nothing - one of them even braided my daughter's hair! The Shinta Mani Resort is a modern and beautiful resort. The overall design and interior of the resort and rooms are beautiful It's hip but not too trendy. A lot of beautiful art works in the resort. We have recently returned from a holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia. We stayed in the lovely Shinta Mani boutique hotel in Siem Riep. It was a fabulous experience. The hotel is designed by well-known hotel designer Bill Bensley and features a pallet of black and white which really pings against the lush greenery of the beautiful gardens, so it has a lot of ambience, but what really sets it aside, is the extraordinary service of their staff. The Shinta Mani Resort is all you expect of an hotel in the city. Close to restaurants and sights. Quiet. Excellent hotel restaurant. Superb pool. Comfortable rooms - one low point only and this dim lighting in room - makes it very hard to read!!! The setting is luscious, the pool delightful, the room large and clean and with a comfortable bed. Wifi was reliable. The staff was wonderful! Friendly, genuinely interested in me as a person and traveler, and excited to help me learn Khmer. I would certainly stay again!

We stayed here for 3 nights and with our days being spent doing tours of temples, The Killing Fields and nearby villages, it was lovely to come back and relax in the gorgeous pool with a few drinks and nibbles - the food here is delicious!! Recommend going to Pub Street at night - love music, lots of great restaurants and a lively atmosphere. Nearby are a couple of local markets, all just a couple of minutes ride in a tuc tuc - great fun! The rooms were lovely and kept clean and tidy. The buf... Read more

It's all the little touches that make it a lovely hotel to return to at the end of the day. Like being met with cold flannels at the ready. Staff who have memorised your name. Being given chilled bottles of water when you leave the hotel. Everyone smiling and happy, which creates an environment which makes you just happy to be part of it. Good rooms, extremely comfortable beds and curtains that blackout at night. Efficient air conditioning. Nice pool with big towels at the sun beds. Thoroughly ... Read more

Continuing my Indo China travels and Shinta Mani deserves all the praise it gets, Wow are the Cambodians lovelp people and the staff here are no exception. Excellent, attentive service. The Club side is much quieter although for families infact anyone who wants to be by the bigger pool the resort side is equally brilliant with very very good rooms. Although they claim the resort side to be only 4 star, I have been to enough resorts in the world now to tell you all that they deserve a 5 star ratin... Read more

We have been holidaying abroad for over forty years and this hotel must be the best we have ever stayed in. The reception area staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Every time we entered the hotel we were met with a smile and a cold towel, which was an excellent touch when the temperatures were nudging 40 degrees Celsius. Our room were modern and well decorated and had all the facilities we could wish for. The food was excellent - breakfast was ample, well prepared and varied and the meals... Read more

About Asia Travel booked our group of four (two couples) into this resort for our tour of Siem Reap, Cambodia and the Angkor temples. Except of turning down the outside temperature I can not think of anything they could have done to make our stay better. The room was great, the food was great, the service was great, The staff were the friendliest and most helpful of any place I have ever stayed. By the time we left several of the staff were like family and we hated to leave.

Best resort in the world. We had a poolside room with a balcony porch, and for our late checkout we moved to a first floor room with a balcony. Both were lovely. Breakfast included. 2 room cleans per day, safe, wifi included, walking distance to the canal and many restaurants and cafes. We used the laundry service and our duds were returned the same day by the expected time. They found us an exceptional and safe driver with a clean nice tuk tuk, water and face wipes after each temple visit. ... Read more

We spent a couple of nights in the shinta mani whilst visiting siem reap. I can honestly say this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in the staff were very nice and friendly and extremely helpful. We will be popping into see the people that made us so welcome on our return to Cambodia in september 2016. The food was without a doubt Michelin star quality. All guests are treated like royalty. The staff are a credit to the hotel and the 5star luxury it provides.

This place literally blew us away with its gorgeous charm, patient, kind, charming and exceedingly helpful staff, delicious food, incredible decor and ambiance. Everything was PERFECT, but the staff really set it apart. They were so sweet - would not let you lift a finger, and were so helpful in arranging anything you needed. They even took care of going to the station to buy our bus tickets for us and making sure we got the best most comforable sleeper bus to phnom penh, which saved us a lot of... Read more

Our room was large and airy with a very effective air conditioner. The furniture suggested tropical colonial and the room was very well equipped. The staff were very well trained and friendly. Dinner provided an excellent introduction to the best of Cambodian cuisine and the breakfasts were well prepared and generous. Throughout our stay, it was not possible to identify and shortcomings in the operation of the Shinta Mani Resort.

This was our second stay in this wonderful hotel. It was even better than our first stay as we could even more than the first time take profit of the excellence of the advice and services of the staff. I would really take the opportunity to thank San particularly. For me, he represents by himself the quality of service and the kindness you may get at Shinta Mani. He was so helpful and nice he made our stay particularly pleasant. This was already the case last year. I would also like to thank R... Read more

The Shinta Mani is a hotel that gets it right. You're greeted with a "welcome home" and cold towel on each return and that sets the tone for stepping inside. Fresh cut flowers are placed with care in the corridors that connect the buildings. It's done with care because you see the nice young woman doing it to make it right each day. In the afternoon they come around the pool and offer free massages. None of these cost the guest money. You aren't charged a fee, it isn't an "extra" and it isn't r... Read more

This small resort hotel is a peaceful oasis within walking distance of the busy hub of Siem Reap. The hotel supports underprivileged people who want to work in the hospitality business. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they all know your name and they made the last days of our holiday very special. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Angkor Watt and the other temples around Siem Reap

This hotel has a spa type vibe to it. The staff are very VERY helpful & friendly. Our room (pool view) was stylish and large. We stayed 3 nights in August and didn't want to leave.
