This hotel really lives up to the excellent reviews. The rooms are lovely and cool and the pool is beautiful with delightful touches by the staff - complimentary cool water, shoulder massages and coconut ice-creams. Without a doubt the best hotel we stayed at in Cambodia.

Boutique property, two story with the rooms all facing the inner courtyard garden and pool. Ground floor rooms have a patio while second level have balconies - both with table and chairs so you can enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of tea or coffee. Team are ever present and unfailingly helpful, cheerful and a pleasure to interact with. Breakfast is varied, fresh and tasty. Stayed here for 3 nights as part of our visit to Anghkor Wat.The hotel itself is an oasis of calm and tranquility with a superb pool and good restaurant.Rooms are 5 star with very good air con which you need, but the main reason for coming to this resort is the staff, they were the friendliest and most helpful staff you will ever meet.Nothing was too much bother and this hotel is a reason to come to Cambodia on its own.

From the moment you arrive you know this is going to be an excellent hotel with cold towels and a refreshing welcome drink provided during a very efficient check in. We can only echo what everyone else has said the staff are excellent, very welcoming, always smiling and you are made to feel like a valued guest. It's the small things that make the difference, such as having tea/coffee and pastries in the lobby for those early morning (5am) temple visits and also providing a takeaway breakfast i... Read more

Having to pick thru all the choices and prices and location options when descending on Siem Reap was a bit daunting. We were simply going to have to go with what past reviewers were saying and going with certain gut instincts that the Shinta Mani was going to work for us. Granted there were more lavish hotels, with pricier itineraries but in reality we were traveling to see the temples and everything else would be icing on top. We travel quite a bit and of course we have certain comfort creature... Read more

We spent 4 nts here last month,.2 as part of an organised tour and another 2 on our own. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff and service levels at the Shinta Mani. Staff always obliging and never did we see one without a smile on their face. The boys at the entrance were helpful and the cyclo drivers (that are used and supported by the Shinta Mani Foundation), spoke good english and were knowledgeable and accommodating. Very fortunate to stay here during low season so hotel half full and service was excellent. Delight to have cold face towels every time We stepped back into the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Took city tour with tuk tuk lady ( google her) a single mother bringing up 2 small children which is tough anywhere in the world, and more do in Vietnam. Room was great, breakfast first class. My husband and I took a 5-week around-the-world honeymoon, and this was the hotel we were most excited about. Glad to say it did not disappoint! Our room was comfortable (they even gave us a little fruit bowl to welcome us!), and out of all the hotels we visited (and there were MANY), this was by far the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and provided plenty of options (they were out of guava juice on our last day, but if you can, you MUST try some! They might have run out becaus... Read more

The list of likes would be too extensive to list here. We have travelled to most countries , but have never stayed at a hotel that comes near to Shinta Mani standards. This is the first hotel that we both had tears in our eyes when leaving. Congratulations to the General Manager and all of his staff. Our thoughts will always be with you for many years to come.

We stayed at the Shinta Mani for 4 nights as a family with 8 year old twins. The hotel is perfection - calm, relaxed, wonderful service, fabulous food. We loved the food so much that we couldn't be bothered to go elsewhere. The staff could not have done more to ensure that our stay lacked for nothing - one of them even braided my daughter's hair! We could not have had a better time - although possibly my children would disagree since they like pools with slides and lots of other kids! We visited... Read more

The Shinta Mani Resort is a modern and beautiful resort. The overall design and interior of the resort and rooms are beautiful It's hip but not too trendy. A lot of beautiful art works in the resort. Staff was very accommodating. Always polite and eager to please. Food was also amazing. Small buffet but enough to satisfy your varied needs. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. We have recently returned from a holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia. We stayed in the lovely Shinta Mani boutique hotel in Siem Riep. It was a fabulous experience. The hotel is designed by well-known hotel designer Bill Bensley and features a pallet of black and white which really pings against the lush greenery of the beautiful gardens, so it has a lot of ambience, but what really sets it aside, is the extraordinary service of their staff. The warmth with which every single staff member greets you and goes out of their way to welcome you is something I have never experienced anywhere. The hotel itself is beautiful, very peaceful, clean and comfortable. Special shout out to Chandrma... She was just super!! Thank you Shinta Mani for the best stay ever!

We stayed with a large group of friends and loved the atmosphere and the setting of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and were always ready to help, the room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast and restaurant were delicious. The club is across the road for a little bit of variety. Particularly lovely were the mini ice creams and free massages handed out by the pool. Would love to go again.

Shinta Mani Resort was really a treat. The staff are superb and made us all feel at home whenever we had contact with them. The gracious welcome and cold towel as a greeting each time we returned to the hotel was most welcome. I particularly enjoyed the warm and thoughtful gesture of a bouquet of flowers and a birthday card signed by all the staff to celebrate my birthday. The rooms were outstanding in every regard. The Shinta Mani Resort is all you expect of an hotel in the city. Close to restaurants and sights. Quiet. Excellent hotel restaurant. Superb pool. Comfortable rooms - one low point only and this dim lighting in room - makes it very hard to read!!! Nothing in life is perfect and this hotel is to be commended for its ethical support of the people in the area. No hesitation in recommending to anyone considering accommodation in Siem Reap.
