Moments from the buzzy centre in a quiet steet, the location could not be better. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are friendly and amenable. For my husband's birthday three of them presented him with cake, flowers and a personalised card it was really fun. The only negatives: the rooms have hardly any drawers so we couldn't unpack, the hotel has an open courtyard design and the corridors and reception are not air conditioned it's therefore never a relief to get back to ... Outstanding quality of service at the resort from the moment your tuk tuk arrives in the turn around. The employees got to know us by name even though we only stayed for two nights. It is a boutique resort and doesn't feel like a large, cookie cutter resort. The Shinta Mani is beautiful and has won design awards. The rooms have high ceilings, beautiful bathrooms, and excellent air conditioning. We enjoyed the breakfast the hotel packed for us to go as we left to see the temples of Angkor at 5am.... Read more

A great little boutique hotel perfect for relaxing after a day hiking the temples. They had a great pool and our room was so cute. My only complaints are that the soundproofing in the rooms is not good (so late or early neighbors will wake you up ) and the transportation to the airport is a rip off.

We Stayed 3 nights with our friends, we have travelled all over the world and always stay in 5 star hotels and resorts and found the Shinta Mani Club to be one of the best we have ever stayed in and would recommend it to all our friends and family. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, rooms were spacious and clean with really comfy beds, loved the fragrant toiletries in the bathroom, food was excellent even had champagne at the breakfast buffet. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting the temples. Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. After a long day out in the heat, we were always welcomed back with a lovely ice cold flannel. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The deluxe room was a good size, and beer and water in the fridge was free and replaced every day. The hotel is only 8-10 minutes walk from all the bars and restaurants, so ideally situated, though we used... Read more

I stayed at Shinto Mani Club this May with my partner and we both loved this place. First of all the service level here is outstanding. One can tell that staff is motivated and dedicated to their profession. Always smiling and helpful - there seems nothing can not resolve. Rooms are beautifully decorated with all amenities and a lot of love for detail. The beds are heaven! Breakfast buffet is amazing. No more to say that for me the Shinta Manti Club is the epitome for wanderlust.

This was our second visit to this hotel, we enjoyed it so much we just had to return. From when you arrive and are given an amazing welcome, cool towels and a glass of bubbles to every other need you may have it is catered for here. The rooms are beautiful and spacious smell wonderful and lovely and clean. The staff are attentive without being annoying and the pool area is a haven of relaxation. Only one difference from our last visit and that was they no longer have a "happy hour" at the bar up... Read more

We were in awe at the shinta mani. We were greeted with our names and friendly smiles! The people made sure we were comfortable at all times and were so kind and friendly. We loved being able to come back to a beautiful pool after a long day at the temples. Very close to town and the manager sent us to an AMAZING spa. We didn't want to leave!!

My experience at this hotel was amazing from the moment I arrived. They greeted me at the front with a "welcome home" and a cold towel. The employee who escorted me to my room was so friendly and kind. And the hotel itself is very beautiful and peaceful. I loved everything about the Shinta Mani and would recommend it to anyone.

Shinta Mani Club has probably been one of the best hotels that I have experienced in a while. Firstly, the location is perfect. It's only a short walk to some great restaurants along the riverfront and just a few blocks from the centre of everything. We arrived very early in the morning and were greeted by such friendly, happy staff. Visually, the hotel is just beautiful. It's so serene, particularly when you have breakfast outside in the swinging chairs surrounded by lush plants and a calming... Read more

Context: My wife and I once owned a business where we planned 5-star weekend couples retreats for business owners. We have searched the Americas for small, high-end boutique hotels and visited dozens of them. None exceeded the overall performance level of the Shinta Mani. This place is, in a word, amazing. The check-in process is pure class. A host meets you at the curb with a cold towel and takes you immediately to your room -- no front desk, no waiting, no credit card. In your room, ... Read more

My husband and I spent the second leg of our honeymoon at this peaceful and private hotel. The decor captures the culture of the city surrounded by a pond full of local fishes and frogs. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and special too. They gave me a bunch flowers which I think was their local flower where every petal was folded to give a rose type feel to it. In the room, our bed had beautiful petals made up in a heart shape to acknowledge our honeymoon. The staff, we have to give... Read more

The Shinta Mani Club is absolutely gorgeous! Super location, very cool interiors, sensational food (best buffet breakfast ever, you can even pour yourself a glass of sparkling!) but best of all...the staff and service is beyond compare. I managed to sprain my ankle at Angkor Wat and they arranged a driver to take me to the hospital to get an X-Ray and collect me again, thy moved our room so that we were on the ground level, allowed us a late check out of 2pm AND bought me a bunch of flowers and ... This hotel has been designed beautifully. The main pool is shaded by gorgeous palms & plants. For the sun bakers u can go across the to the Shinta Mani resort. The pool there is set amongst grand style architecture (colonial feel perhaps) The restaurants are amazing . Probably the best food I've had in Asia. I'd go... Read more

I loved this small boutique style hotel. You are always greeted at the front entrance with a cool towel and a bottle of mineral water. The service is impeccable, everyone always smiling and nice. The spa offers all kinds of facial and body treatments, massages, etc. The breakfast is delicious, with western and Asian options. The pool is right in the middle of the patio, and is basically in the shade, protected from the strong Cambodian sun. The sister hotel across the street has a much bigger po... Read more

We have chosen to stay at Shinta Mani Club as Tripadvisor rated one of the best in the world and they were right ;) even though is not the usual big luxury hotel but rather boutique one, the service was indeed 5 stars... Location wise was fine for us, main purpose of the trip was to visit Angkor Wat. But at the end we booked a private guide tour with the hotel to facilitate the hustle and was very good as well. Fantastic hotel! * Room was excellent, bed comfortable, shower very good * Breakfast was the best we had in Cambodia. Buffet and a la carte combined * Lovely little swimming pool * Fantastic staff who are willing to help with anything and always give a "welcome home" when you arrive back at the hotel! * Able to share facilities with the sister hotel across the road which means a bigger swimming pool! Highly, highly recommended.

The Shinta Mani Hotel is an experience!!! Excellent accommodation. Location is central. Facilities suit couples and families alike. Great pool and poolside area. Personal service and good quality food. The staff are part of the SM Foundation and the company is making a worthwhile contribution to the youth of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return if coming back to Siem Reap. Only one small downside - poor reading light in room. Why oh why do hotels think people do not read on... Read more

This boutique hotel is fairly central and lovely. The rooms are well equipped but lack storage space for unpacking. The restaurant was very good, if a little expensive. The big drawback was the noisy building site next door. We should perhaps have been warned or put somewhere where the constant noise was not audible.

From the scented wet cloths to wash your hands each time you arrive back at the hotel, to the smiling welcome and beautifully appointed architecture filled with freshly folded lotus flowers of every variety. They start around 07.30 and finish at about 5pm and make it difficult to rest in the afternoon if you are in rooms 208 to 212 and 215 to 218 (weekend included). We didn't encounter the mosquito problems mentioned by other guests as there are sprays for the room and also electric diffusers (all nice smelling). Nothing really wrong but the key question I always ask myself is "if I were to return to the town/city would I stay at the same hotel?" and for me the answer in this case is no. The staff are great, friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable enough. And the location was good. The hotel arranged good tours to Angkor - perhaps a little on the more expensive side, but I expected that booking through a hotel. So what was wrong? We have stayed here many times and just love the staff. They are very special and feel more like our family. I honestly believe there is nothing they wouldn't do to assist guests. There have been a few changes lately and I think the hotel may be moving in a direction that doesn't really suit it. Apart from the staff, what we loved most about the hotel was the relaxed yet chic atmosphere. It is starting to feel a little like a 'chain hotel' now, which is a shame. Great choice. I didn't want to go for the top-luxury big hotels because we were looking for a more personalised service and that's exactly what we've got. Shinta Mani is just perfect.
