Arrived in Siam Reap on the Giant Ibis Coach form Phnom Phen to be met by a chauffer driven Lexus and taken to the Hotel (no charge!) Beautiful hotel in a quiet location around 10 minutes by Tuk Tuk to town centre. Large well appointed rooms, great staff, lovely restaurant with good food at around $6 us per main course ! Good sized pool. The hotel also arrange tours to Ankor Wat at $15 for a seven hour Tuk Tuk tour, excluding entrance fee. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

We had a two night stay at Saem Siemreap Hotel and it was perfect! Great cocktails and nice enough breakfasts but the staff were exceptional! Great recommendations on how to see temples etc (both via email prior to our stay & whilst we were there), where to eat in town and always answered all our questions! Loved every second of our time in this beautiful country and will stay here again on our return!

Made to feel very welcome the minute you enter the hotel the staff were very polite and helpful in all aspects of our trip, the only criticism of our stay was the choice of dinner menu in the restaurant??s somewhat limited for a westerner but my Thai wife certainly enjoyed the choice, and the breakfast buffet was just excellent spoiled for choice there, and the concierge made all our trip and tour arrangements and all there supportive advice was very helpful and made our tours very good and we ... We stayed here April 9 to 12 while we visited a number of the ancient temples. This hotel had old world charm with modern appliances. The staff were very courteous. It was very hot (104+F) since it was the end of the dry season. The pool was refreshing since the A/C was working hard to keep the rooms cool to western standards. Our guide was very knowledgable and extremely professional.

Even though it is not big and shiny on the main street hotel, it still provides all of the away from home comforts, and the staff are just as welcoming. The rooms are spacious, with all of the amenities provided. Each member of staff are attentive, and you are made to feel very welcome. We booked a car and a tour guide through the hotel to take us around to the temples. This was a very cheap option, and we were provided with cold towels and bottled water throughout the whole experience.

We loved our stay in the Saem Siemreap Hotel. From the time we were picked up, the engagement from staff was fantastic. Helpful, friendly and engaging. This is easily one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in Southeast Asia, and made my quick visit to Siem Reap extra special. The staff are so nice and go out of their way to help you. The room was clean and comfortable (even the bed!), and they upgraded us to a pool-view room. Our flight landed in Siem Reap at 9:00 am, and the hotel staff picked us up and took us to the hotel, and even gave us early check-in so we could go to the room straight away. We were picked up at the airport as promised with a cool Jasmine scented cloth and it only got better from here. Mr. Sopheap the manager went out of his way to help locate a missing cell phone and brought in a computer tech to help with my lap top. The food was delicious, the hotel immaculate and the service outstanding. After 3 weeks of traveling through out southeast asia, we have yet to find a hotel that equals Saem Siemreap Hotel. Bravo!

Our group of five from Washington DC stayed here for two nights while visiting Angkor Wat in July 2016. This is a great hotel. First, I have to talk about the breakfast. Lovely hotel with great buffet breakfast. Staff friendly and polite. Great airport shuttle service and what's more, they provide this service at no extra cost. Not far from the town, only 2USD from the hotel to the town and 3 USD to return. Only let down was so many bugs outside the entrance to the room (depending on which side of the hotel your room is on. We told the reception about this, so hopefully they will do something to reduce the number of bugs.

A small balcony can really increase your enjoyment of a room, particularly if you are travelling with friends and want to pop over for a beer to discuss the evenings festivities! I really enjoyed this hotel as it was easy going, nothing was a problem. Very clean. Nice pool, very comfy bed and linen and good eggs at breakfast. This is quite a stunning hotel, beautiful pool, bar, restaurant, service and rooms and is only a short ride to all the markets and shops in Siem Reap. Would definately recommend this to people who like to spoil themselves but at a cost that is affordable. The staff also speak English which is a bonus. I don't think you will be disappointed.

The Saem Hotel has large rooms, a beautiful pool and wonderful breakfasts. They will gladly help organize a tour or tuk-tuk to take you in the city. The hotel is located in a Khmer section of Siem Reap so there are not any English speaking restaurants or nightclubs nearby. That said, the hotel's restaurant served excellent meals, but a bit expensive for our tastes. First the bad news; despite what you will read on this site their is no way that this is within ten minutes walk of downtown. Its probably a ten minute taxi ride so you just can't say its centrally located. Its also the "wrong side" for the temple complexes which means you have to skirt the town to get to the "right" side. This means the hotel is quiet which is a blessing. As other state - the rooms are large and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is all you can ask for. The staff are very he... Read more

Initially, Saem Siem Reap is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are comfortable and the hotel is visually lovely. However, the Cambodian people have a lot to learn in terms of tourism. I spent two nights at the Saem Siemreap Hotel last week. I'm glad I chose this hotel, based largely on Tripadvisor reviews, for it's really quite excellent. It's not posh; there is no grand lobby and the hotel is located on a rather non-descript side street. But it's a relatively new establishment (3 years old?) and everything works quite perfectly. The room is not very big, but certainly comfortable. It's very quiet; no noise from rooms above or next door, and the air-conditioning works well. T... Read more
