This hotel has been perfect for our 5 days stay in Siem reap! The room are very comfortable, breakfast is great, and the team is awesome: always smiling and laughing, very helpfull! Swimming pool and air cond was great with 40'c outside. 5min walking from the city center and great restaurant nearby (cuisine wat damnak). I recommend!

Opposite the youth hostel and just on the other side of the river from all the tourist areas in Siem Reap, the Royal Crown is just about perfect. The pools are in the shade so in 40 degree temperatures it is great to have a place to cool down. In many hotels the pool turns to soup before you can get in. The massages are reasonably priced and well worth it. The happy hour does not match up to the pub street ones for price and variety but the range of cocktails are good with some unique ones and ... The staffs are very accommodating and polite. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. What I love the most about royal crown is the hotel location as it is very accessible to the Old Market and the Pub Street and the King's road. I'm talking about 5-10 mins walk. There is also a minimart nearby. Don't forget to visit their roofdeck bar. It has a really good view especially at sunset.. Thanks Royal crown! Highly recommended

This is a very beautiful hotel. The rooms are very charming with the wood decor. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very nice and accommodating. An excellent value for what you get. The road outside, like many towns in Cambodia, was not so easy to navigate, even on foot. You are very close to the main attractions on town. Rooftop bar and restaurant offered nice views. There are some cheap eats all around if you are on a budget.

We stayed at the Royal crown for 4 nights and thought it was great. It's in an awesome spot within walking distance to heaps of good restaurants, pub street and the night markets. Our concierge Bim Barrung was excellent at organising any activities that we asked. The pools are nice too, one of them got very busy in the late afternoon but the second pool was usually quiet which we enjoyed. Only downside was the bathrooms, bit of an odd layout and our water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Ove... Read more

The hotel was clean, had good breakfast, 2 pools with no direct sunlight. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent. A transfer from the airport was offered, I was expecting a car, but I was surpised to get a Tuk Tuk. This t me just adds to the character of the area. I had an early morning start (04:30) to Angkor Wat. The hotel provided a "packed breakfast" which was very useful. Free wifi in hotel. Walking distance to night market and to pub street.

Good basic accommodation; not much more. Biggest attraction is the location: walk to pub street, night market, etc. two swimming pools are great. Staff are zombie-like friendly, but can't help you with much of anything except check in/out and opening the front door. Don't expect directions, recommendations, or small talk. Facility is dated, but room is pretty big, bed nice & firm; a good rain head shower. Wifi works in most rooms but not all (check connection before you settle in). The brea... Read more

Overall we had a nice stay at the Royal Crown. The rooms are basic but spacious - no need to book a balcony room as it is so small with no furniture so you really don't use it as all. The pools are small but nice. Not too many pool lounges so you may miss out in peak seasons. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble if you want to book transport or a restaurant. The breakfast is adequate but not very many choices. The best thing is the location with only a few minu... Read more

Satisfied on my stay at this hotel recently. Its clean and offer much of the facilities that we can ask for. Convenient and close to the famous Pup Street and Old Market where you can shop and eat around. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok but recommend more dishes. Really appreciated for the decorations in our room cos my trip coincide with my wedding anniversary and my wife really had a surprise. I must say I wasn't happy when I first arrived. There were multiple mosquitos in my room, and my wifi connection was very very average. The mosquito issue seemed to improve after the first night, but the wifi issue didn't. In addition there were some birds in a cage on a balcony across from my room that made lots of noise. A causal hotel but tidy & clean. I like the massage service provided. Launch buffet is okay . Just 6 minutes walk , we will reach the busy market & pub street, enjoying the local food in market or western style dishes in shopping center. Also the procative service provided by the staffs

Before I review this hotel, I must firstly say that there is currently two hotels - one called Royal Crown Hotel, the other called Royal Crown Hotel and Spa - both in Siem Reap, both with different Trip Advisor ratings - showing different photos of the exterior of the hotel, BUT they are the same property!! I found it quite misleading and was somewhat confused but decided to wait until we got there, thinking that there may be a new and old, no, they are one and the same - one is rated 71 and th... Im 14 years old and i stayed in the Royal Crown Hotel. I have to say being a kid and being in an unformiliar country, i felt very uneisy at first and anxious. We arrived via hotel Tuk Tuk. As you step into the hotel you are greated by a man who will take your bags to your room and, a nice freshly mixed juice. In advance to the juice you are also offered mixed peanuts with spices. I was very suprised at how comfortable i was with in the short time id been there (Haden't gotten to my room yet). Th... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 3 week stay in Cambodia, i was a little disappointed with the hotel, the photos have been taken to make it look like the swimming pool is very big and spacious this is not the case, the hotel has 2 small pools which loose the sun by 3pm in the afternoon so after a long hot day looking at the temples you don't have the option to lie by the pool and sunbath, of course you can still have a swim and enjoy the pool. Also the hotel has a lot of main land Chines... Read more

we, a family of four, booked two rooms, which were nothing extraordinary, but quite adequate. the location is very good, being within 200 yards of the night market and 300 yards of Pub Street. i think we paid about $50/day per room, which is not expensive, but not cheap either. we had previously stayed at an outstanding place in phnom penh, so in comparison it was a bit of a let down, but nothing to complain about. we arrived at dawn by grand ibis bus, and the staff were kind enough to let us ch... Nice breakfast, nice hotel centrally positioned, small pools relief from heat but not much sun after 3pm. Roof bar with happy hour but you need drink 3 drinks to make use of it. the taxi drivers will try and keep you out all day, tre.e temples are enough and the heat should keep it down to 3 hours

Such a lovely hotel. Immaculate and stylish. Huge well appointed suites. Staff are extremely polite and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again. Close enough to nightlife to walk. Far enough away for it not to cause a nuisance. Easy access to Angkor Wat.

Located a short walk from the old market area and Pub Street is the Royal Crown Hotel. There is a classy, modern appeal to this hotel that gives the feel of comfort right when you walk in. The staff are all very hospitable finding no problem to tend to your needs. They have Tuk Tuk and taxi drivers who work mostly with the hotel where the concierge will arrange trips to attractions and knowing your driver is approved by hotel is a plus. We got a balcony room although balcony doors were unabl... Read more

Cozy and clean place, fancy room equipment and very supportive staff. All staff is speaking english fluently. Breakfast was also nice, and the pool looked good. The one thing that was not very smooth for me was the wifi connection but it might be only in my room so this is not a problem:)

The hotel was really nice and is really well located in the center of Siem Reap! If you are looking for a driver that will show you around Angkor Wat, I can only recommend our driver, Sok Mab (local number: 012967311) who was really friendly and accomodating!

This is an excellent hotel in the centre of Siem Reap. The staff are very friendly and efficient, the rooms are a good size and comfortable, the breakfast is good, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the hotel was good value. All in all, I cannot fault it and I would definitely return there.

Our golf group was booked into this hotel. The rooms are fine, although a bit on the old side. The rooftop bar is nice especially to watch the sun go down. The service at the roof top bar can be quite chaotic if there are many hotel guests there. Breakfast is good with a wide range of dishes to choose from. The proximity to the night market and pub street is a plus.

Only ten minutes walk from Pub Street but in a quiet location this lovely hotel is a real jewel. I ended up with a fabulous room with 2 balconies, a giant bed and all mod cons but the first room I was offered didn't have a wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes, which I found quite unusual (I've never seen a hotel room anywhere in the world that doesn't have a hanging space) but they gave me another room without hesitation. The room had everything you could need, including a safe and a very larg... Read more

I was very excited to visit Siem Reap, but was unfortunately let down by this hotel. They greeted us when we got there, but after that, we did not receive the best service. We tried to schedule a private driver to see the temples and emailed the hotel staff weeks prior. They told us they could schedule this for us when we got there and suggested we visit the tour table. When we got there, they said everything was sold out and could not help us. When we asked if they could check with other compan... Read more
