The place is about 3 to 4 Km from the Old Market, in a country side area. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean and the staff is simply great! If you like nature the place is ideal. You can rent a motorbike or use the tuk tuk, a nice and discrete driver can drive you around for a reasonable price, his name is Kosal. Since the property is new, grate care is taken of the guests. If I have the chance to return in Siem Reap I'll certainly go back to the same hotel, with the hope that all... Read more

My wife and I needed a place to stay for one month while moving houses in Cambodia, we stayed at Ry's Lotus and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home, we stayed in a beautiful and clean 2 bed villa and were very happy. This place had everything we needed and more, it was quiet but still close enough to town to travel in every day, we had cable TV, fully functioning kitchen, great pool, very comfortable bed and surroundings. I can't say enough good things ... Read more

Just spent 2 months staying at Ry's Lotus resort in Siem Reap. The accommodation is brand new and has a exceptionally high quality finish, compared to similar priced places in Siem Reap. The place is small and cosy, with a very laid back feel to it. It's a bit of distance to the main road, which helps in maintaining the peaceful nature of the complex. The manager and staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable experience for long term stay.

3 star rating does not do this resort justice. Service levels are very high, the staff (many of whom are family) take great care in their guests and spending time to get to know their guests needs. The location means you get away from the hassle and bustle of a very touristy area, and see the real countryside. Transport is very convenient with again a family member being available for TukTuk transport (to centre of town for instance where he will arrange for a time and place to meet you) and al... We stayed for just under a month at Ry's Lotus Resort. We had been living in the area for a couple of months and wanted a change for our last month. We visited the manager Barang and he gave us a good price to stay for the month so we decided to move in. The accommodation was great, pool is nice, staff friendly and the resort was quiet. However towards the end of the month Barang tried to get more money out of us for the stay which was very poor form, he changed his tune completely. After i ex... Read more

Options for hotel/hostel are ample. Ry's Lotus Resort D'Angkor drew my attention: 1. located in the quiet countryside 2. reasonable room rate with good benefits covered 3. family run business (who is a German, so quality is guaranteed, i suppose ^.^) Indeed it did not disappoint me at all. Stayed there for 6 days 5 nights. My apartment (yes, it is not a room) is fully AC, bathroom comes with stable hot water. Breakfast included. 2 Bottle water provided on daily basis for free. The swimming po... Read more
