loved everything about this hotel. Excellent value for money. Service, pool, rooms, food excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. We arrived early and as our room wasn't ready we were offered another room to relax in which was great as it was so hot after a long flight too. Really appreciated it. Happy hour a bonus! Thank you

This hotel gains its successful reviews due to the excellent staff and management. The hotel occupies a small piece of land so everthing is compact and close to hand. The welcome to the hotel was very professional and friendly and the cold towels, drink and snacks were gratefully received. We stayed in 3 different rooms during our 5 night stay. For this reason I feel comfortable commenting on the rooms. They are very basic. Very concrete, large and empty. They lack any character. They... Read more

A friend and I just stayed 3 nights at Golden Temple Hotel in Siem Reap. Not to be confused with Golden Temple Residence or Golden Temple Villa. The hotel is smartly decorated, neat and clean. Nice salt-water pool. Great restaurant with reasonable prices. We shared a twin room which had efficient air-conditioning (necessary in Siem Reap in May, when it was 95 degrees F). Beds extremely comfortable, and the rooms quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The stay came with one f... Read more

Value for money, this is the best hotel for which I??ve ever had the pleasure to stay. The day before the trip, we received email confirmation from the hotel about how we would be greeted at the airport. Siem Reap is a great airport and so quiet when we arrived. Most passengers, like us, filled out visas upon arrival and swiftly passed through the visa section after paying $30 per person. The visa (plus other documentation we were given prior to the flight like duty forms and entry visas) were ... Read more

Enjoyed staying at this hotel with their generous extras - complimentary airport pickup and drop off, cold beer or water in the vehicle, welcoming drink and food, free 1 hour massage for 2, free food snack to take for day tours, free evening meal, iceblocks at poolside just to name a few. The staff are so helpful and caring. If you are not well they offer food and medication. I would definitely stay again.

I can't even begin to describe how much I loved the Golden Temple Hotel. It was the treat of a lifetime! The kindness and attention to detail that's shown by the staff blew me away. The pool and gardens are spectacular and were my favorite part, but honestly the rooms are just perfect as well. Big comfy beds, awesome decorations, with a nice patio to relax on. The DVDs in the room about the history Angkor Wat and the Khmer Rouge were a nice touch also- would definitely recommend watching. ... Read more

We spent 3 lovely days at Golden Temple Hotel. This hotel has really thought through what they can provide to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. From a take away snack so that you don't get dehydrated as you visit Angkor Wat, to a mohito by the pool, to a massage - I might add that they were all free other than the mohito. Food is good, rooms are excellent, staff very helpful - Justin and Annie in particular. This is an exceptionally good hotel. They can also help you book tours though w... Read more

From the complimentary drink on arrival to the complimentary Khmer dinner in their great restaurant overlooking a tasteful and inviting pool, to the complimentary snack packs for our days at the temples and a happy hour which should be called complimentary hour; everything was superb. If the street outside wasn't made of dirt and stank like an open sewer that would be a good start. The so called hotel is more like a backpackers hostel. The building itself stinks as guests are required to place used toilet paper in bins, and with lots of rooms in close proximity it kind of turns the place into victorian London. Don't think its been decorated since the 80's they have tried to get around these short falls by sometimes being overly friendly to the point of it be 100% fake the kin... Read more

I wondered if the hotel could be as good as reviewed - excellent staff, location, facilities, complimentary meals, free happy hour, free airport transfer, etc., etc. - and found it to be even better. For example, I've never come across a hotel that provides so many complimentary bottles of water. Also, if you sit by the pool or at reception reading a book or waiting for transport, you will be served a cooling drink. A great place to stay with fantastic staff.

We stayed here with a group of friends, a few of which had stayed here before. The people working at the hotel were wonderful, and exemplifies Cambodia's "smiling culture." It had an upscale "local" flavor, and includes meals, a snack, picnic, etc. Lynn, the manager at this location, could not have been nicer.
