I loved this place. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean with a separate living room and kitchen. The A/C and wifi was good and there's a washing machine in the kitchen which can be used at no extra cost. This was actually really useful as I had been travelling beforehand and then doing the temples and I was basically covered in dust most days. The breakfast is more than satisfactory, offering a buffet and any type of eggs to order. I only had lunch there once but it was delicious. I... Read more

My stay in Chateau d'Angkor La Residence was great! Check-in was done within 5 minutes, while sipping on a nice welcome drink. I booked the 2 bedroom suite for my Family of 4. We were on the first floor, with a nice balcony. The Suite was huge! Big living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and even a stove and washing machine! Water was replenished daily and the breakfast was good. After walking around Angkor Wat the whole day in 40 degrees celcius, a nice dip in the pool was a good refres... Read more

Second stay at the Chateau. The one-bed suite was huge, and clean. As room 234 is on the 2nd floor, it's a bit of a hike up the stairs each time. Most facilities are perfect... air cond x2, big comfy bed, fast free WiFi, beautiful swimming pool and loads of TV channels. I just wish they would replace the living room furniture with something comfortable as the timber bench and chairs are no good if you want to relax and watch some TV. The staff were very good, and my ride to the airport on de... Read more

Our stay was amazing. The bedrooms are really spacious, clean and so comfortable that you almost don't want to go outside. The swimming pool is really nice. The staff is really welcoming and always ready to help you. The breakfast buffet is huge and really good. Also the hotel provides different tours to visit the temples and all that you can visit around Siem Reap. Also they can recommend tuktuk drivers, restaurants, traditional dance show etc. Definitely stay there if you want to make the mos... Read more

The hotel was okay, but definitely has had its best days some years ago. We booked a double bedroom suite and got an upgrade to a Two-bedroom Suite, which was a nice gesture - even though we were two girls travelling and slept in the same room in the end as this was more sociable. In fact, the full apartment was a bit too big for us but we don't want to complain. The brekfast was okay, but nothing special and few salty options for vegetarians who don't like scrumbled egg. The staff was very fri... Read more

The rooms were clean, spacious and extremely well priced. 4 of us shared the 2 bedroom suite which comprised of 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, balcony, kitchen, laundry facilities, excellent wifi and a full satellite TV package for less than $22 pppn with breakfast included. The staff could not have been more accommodating and the location is perfect with a large swimming pool on site. I struggle to see where you'll get better value for money outside of the backpacking s... Read more

We are staying here for the second time. The wood used in the architecture is amazing. A lot of wood starting from steps and all over the hotel. The whole Siem Reap is similar as the usage of wood is high. We took a double bedroom apartment. When we checked in, we found it to be a full fledged serviced apartment including washing machine, microwave, kettle, stove and even slippers. The staffs are very polite and very caring. Overall a very good experience.

We spent 4 wonderful nights in Siem Reap staying at Chateau. The hotel is excellent with very spacious suites. We took a 2-bedroom suite for our family of 4. The suite was very large, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is good about 15 minutes walk to pub street. The hotel has a nice pool which is good after a long hot day exploring Angkor. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The breakfast provided was very nice with a good variety of food. We would definitely come back to ... Read more

This hotel is set just back from the main street and in easy walking distance of the main downtown area. It is relatively small compared to the monster hotels on the main drag but is very comfortable. No great views or anything but our room overlooked the pool which is surrounded by palms and other greenery and you felt nicely secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. We got upgraded to a twin suite which was huge - two big double bedrooms, one en-suite and a separate shower and loo. Also... Read more

This was our second trip to Siem Reap and our second time staying at this hotel. It has a great location (5 min walk to centre of town), the rooms are large which was great as we stayed a week, the pool and grounds were immaculate, the room service was fantastic. My only slight downside was breakfast was ok (not bad though)

Location : it is very well located near the city centre and in a quiet neighbourhood. You can within a 10-15 minute walk cover the most happening spots of Siem Reap covering the night life with pubs like hard rock cafĂ©, the pub street, the spas, the eating places. There is also, located just behind it, a made in Cambodia market open on the weekends. You can get a Tuk Tuk to get you around if you donâ??t want to walk though better is to avoid taking it just outside the hotel. Take it a bit furth... Read more

Cavernous, clean, high-ceilinged rooms which were ideal for us, as we visited at the hottest time of the year; a fantastic pool; well located and close to everything; attentive and helpful service. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return.

We stayed here as an extended family in three apartments for 9 nights, we had 4 children in various ages ranging from 10 down to 1 year. The apartments were spotlessly clean and extremely spacious with plenty of room for the children. The hotel is a beautiful old building with lovely features and high ceilings they have managed to retain the old world feel. We loved the fact that you didn't feel like you were in a large, modern resort that would be the same room type the world over. The apart... Read more

We checked out after one night, there are so many other great options to stay in Siem Reap. The rooms are sparsely decorated, no tv's in bedrooms and the beds are the hardest we had throughout Vietnam and Cambodia.

First time visit to Siem Reap so little unsure of standard of accommodation and location etc. Shouldn't have worried. Hotel Free pick up from airport service was spot on as was location. Easy access to all the top tourist attraction by tuk tuk. Hotel room huge and spotlessly clean. Efficient cleaning service daily. All necessities in room including soap powder for washing machine etc Breakfast but repetitive but fine. Endless coffee and juices etc Pool area good but needs a bit of a sweep r... Read more

They do such a great job at this hotel. Service is outstanding! Our family villa was very spacious. Breakfast is great and starts nice and early so that you can head to the temples early. Only complaint would be that the beds are harder than I would like. Highly recommend.

We have made many visits to Siem Reap and tried a few different hotels. None compare with the reception and service we receive at Chateau. Staying there is reason enough to come to Siem Reap. The staff make a great hotel and Chateau have the best. From the manager to the cleaning staff, everything is done to make our stay memorable. From the time we are greeted to the airport until we regrettably have to wave goodbye the staff make us feel at home. The front office remember and allocate us our f... Read more

We stayed here for three nights and were happy with this hotel. The two rooms are spacious, the bathroom is well equipped but the shower did leak a little over the floor. However there is a shower over the bathtub that was fine. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The washing machine, large fridge and kitchenette provide the option to self-cater although restaurant meals are cheap over here. The buffet breakfast was extensive and the restaurant meals at dinner time are delicious albeit a l... Read more

being great started when the airline cancelled our original flight and moved it to a later date. tried to manage my booking with agoda, but said the room wasn't anymore available. i emailed the hotel directly and was told i can still have the room and just tell agoda to just coordinate with them, which was a winner since i get to keep the original price! ideal location, quiet neighborhood but still near the night market and pub street. our 2 bedroom suite is great, but i'm sure it would be great... Great little Hotel. 12 mins walk to Pub street. I was here 20 years ago and you can still see Siam Reap of that time if you walk to the river 20mins. Staff English is OK, but very attentive. We were on the ground floor, looking onto the nice pool, room 103. Very spacious rooms, a bit short on furniture in the lounge area. AC or Fans or Fly screened openable doors. Fast Wifi, Bath robes, large bath, slippers etc like a typical hotel room AND private laundry and kitchenette, which suites our trave... Read more
