I loved this place. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean with a separate living room and kitchen. The A/C and wifi was good and there's a washing machine in the kitchen which can be used at no extra cost. This was actually really useful as I had been travelling beforehand and then doing the temples and I was basically covered in dust most days. The breakfast is more than satisfactory, offering a buffet and any type of eggs to order. I only had lunch there once but it was delicious. I... Read more

My stay in Chateau d'Angkor La Residence was great! Check-in was done within 5 minutes, while sipping on a nice welcome drink. I booked the 2 bedroom suite for my Family of 4. We were on the first floor, with a nice balcony. The Suite was huge! Big living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and even a stove and washing machine! Water was replenished daily and the breakfast was good. After walking around Angkor Wat the whole day in 40 degrees celcius, a nice dip in the pool was a good refres... Read more

Second stay at the Chateau. The one-bed suite was huge, and clean. As room 234 is on the 2nd floor, it's a bit of a hike up the stairs each time. Most facilities are perfect... air cond x2, big comfy bed, fast free WiFi, beautiful swimming pool and loads of TV channels. I just wish they would replace the living room furniture with something comfortable as the timber bench and chairs are no good if you want to relax and watch some TV. The staff were very good, and my ride to the airport on de... Read more

The hotel was okay, but definitely has had its best days some years ago. We booked a double bedroom suite and got an upgrade to a Two-bedroom Suite, which was a nice gesture - even though we were two girls travelling and slept in the same room in the end as this was more sociable. In fact, the full apartment was a bit too big for us but we don't want to complain. The brekfast was okay, but nothing special and few salty options for vegetarians who don't like scrumbled egg. We are staying here for the second time. The wood used in the architecture is amazing. A lot of wood starting from steps and all over the hotel. The whole Siem Reap is similar as the usage of wood is high. We took a double bedroom apartment. When we checked in, we found it to be a full fledged serviced apartment including washing machine, microwave, kettle, stove and even slippers. The staffs are very polite and very caring. Overall a very good experience.

We spent 4 wonderful nights in Siem Reap staying at Chateau. The hotel is excellent with very spacious suites. We took a 2-bedroom suite for our family of 4. The suite was very large, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is good about 15 minutes walk to pub street. The hotel has a nice pool which is good after a long hot day exploring Angkor. This hotel is set just back from the main street and in easy walking distance of the main downtown area. It is relatively small compared to the monster hotels on the main drag but is very comfortable. No great views or anything but our room overlooked the pool which is surrounded by palms and other greenery and you felt nicely secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. We got upgraded to a twin suite which was huge - two big double bedrooms, one en-suite and a separate shower and loo. Also... Read more

Location : it is very well located near the city centre and in a quiet neighbourhood. You can within a 10-15 minute walk cover the most happening spots of Siem Reap covering the night life with pubs like hard rock café, the pub street, the spas, the eating places. There is also, located just behind it, a made in Cambodia market open on the weekends. The apartments were spotlessly clean and extremely spacious with plenty of room for the children.
