First trip to this city and hotel. Staff is very warm and friendly. Hot water- good AC, clean and yummy break fast in the AM. Great restaurant next door to the right (Traditional Cambodian food). Very close to pub street (bars, spas, stores, pharmacy, food). Recommend highly.

I stayed at this hotel in the week before Easter. Staff were very friendly and I appreciated the airport pickup (although was surprised it was in a tuk tuk!). There is a selection of 4 menu packages for breakfast and all options had plenty of food. Even though the hotel is very close to Pub St I didn't experience any noise at night. There is not much shade around the pool and it could do with a few umbrellas but that was my only gripe. I would certainly consider staying here again.

Lovely hotel, just one minutes walk to all the shops and bars, yet very quiet and relaxing. Very friendly charming staff. Can not fault the place for the price. Felt guilty afterwards for using an online booking company, as they charge a hefty fee to the hotel, when it is cheap already. We will return later in the year and book directly with the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights and would stay again. Walked in without a booking and were shown the room and pool before deciding to stay. Clean, cool room with nice bathroom. We were on ground floor with a patio area right near the pool. Pool was warm but still refreshing surrounded by sun lounges & towels. Reception organised sunrise tuk tuk + breakfast at Angkor Wat and were always lovely and helpful. Very cheap laundry available too, only $4.50 for 12 items :) very close to Pub Street, night marke... I'll Keep this one quick. We paid around 40USD per night, a bit pricy but worth it I think. The entry way is beautiful and green, very nice to walk into and a beautiful way to wake up and sit for breakfast. The included breakfast was good, don't be afraid to ask for changes or extras to the set menus they offer. I added yoghurt to the fruit and had an extra egg for example. The staff were very accommodating. Room service: we had the Lok Lak, the Spaghetti Bolognese and some of the drinks. A... Read more

My stay started off wonderfully, great location, nice hotel, charming, staff incredibly friendly. However, things took a dark turn rather quickly. On my second day I came back to my room to find my in-room safe not responding. I would put in the right combination but the display said ‚??error‚??. So I called front desk, they reset the safe. Great! My ipad, passport, money were safely tucked in the metal barriers of the safe‚?¶But then I counted my money, and counted it several more times, there ... Read more

Apsara has a wonderful staff that is very friendly and speaks very good english. We got a good price for it because of low season. Everything was very clean, with breakfast included. Mattress was the most comfortable of all whole stay in southeast asia! Little kettle in the room for tea and coffee, which is always a nice touch. Lovely swimming pool - overall a great stay there, highly recommended!

This hotel is in an excellent location, just far enough from Pub Street and Night Market that you don't hear the noise, but close enough you can easily walk to these areas in a few minutes. The rooms are nicely presented and so is the pool area. The staff are most helpful and go to the effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I was travelling in May, low season, so rooms were a very good price.

Location is paramount.......this place offers it all with everything you need only metres away..corner shop to stock up, Pub Street 1 minute walk , best day spa across the road-Sohka Spa, Sports Club across the road for a cold beer ,daily roasts and giant screens , but the Apsara itself is honsestly a highly recommended place to stay for its tranquil lush setting, right in the HUB of Siem Reap so saving on tuk tuks is a bonus .Good Aircon and spaciuos rooms , and well priced.Generous breakfa... The hotel itself was lovely, the room was great, the breakfast was enjoyable (they even packed us a takeaway breakfast for when we went to the sunrise Angkor Wat tour). The staff were also amazing, they were so kind as to let my friend and I continue to use the facilities even after we'd checked out and we're getting the evening night bus later that day. The pool was just what we needed after a long day of sightseeing and the close proximity to local restaurants and bars really made it a great ... Read more

We had a wonderful time here, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Siem Reap. They location can't be beat, very close to Pub Street and the Night Market but not close enough to be disturbed at night. The room was plenty big with great amenities and the staff was beyond helpful. The food at the restaurant was great and they provide laundry services were a very good price. You can book tours to Angkor Wat through them for a fairly good price as well. I would recommend this Hotel to a... Read more

Very good value for money, the rates where reasonable, the room is a good size and well laid out with everything you could hope for and even the bar fridge works very well which is unusual in most hotels. All very clean and the staff can't do enough for you. 4 different choices for breakfast and what we had was done to perfection. Haven't been in the pool yet but it looks good. It's about a hundred metres around the corner from pub street and down town Siem Reap. Would definitely stay here again... Read more

As other reviewers have said the location is really good. Easy walking distance to food and shops. The service is also really good. Every staff member greats you and is eager to assist. I also really liked the pool area and enjoyed cooling off there after a day at the temples. However there are a few issues. The main issue was the mosquitoes. Our room had a few buzzing around each day and at night they feasted. I got many bites on any exposed skin outside the covers. I think when cleaning they ... Read more

Great place in fantastic location. The terrace rooms have own private courtyard including balcony at front which makes for a nice private setting. Very good staff with great service. We have been to Siem reap on a number of occasions and this is certainly one of the best finds. Great for the kids with plenty of room to move

The Apsara is located in the centre of all the action: a couple of blocks from "Pub Street" and just around the corner from the Night Market. On the street, there is an array of restaurants and other businesses catering to the tourist, including a massage and spa just across the street. When we were there, it was a bed and breakfast arrangement: the room rent included breakfast, to be chosen from either European or Khmer selections. As we were there for 8 nights, I tried most of them and they we... Read more

We arrived at the hotel around 11am. We were welcomed with a cold towel and drinks which were timely because of the hot weather. We were told the room was not yet ready and had to wait until 2pm. We were too tired to go around so we decided to just sit there in the lobby and wait. Fortunately, after an hour and a half, we were asked to go up to our room. It was on the top floor with balcony in front and at the back. It would be perfect if there is a high wall covering the back side because the... Read more

We stayed for 2 nights and loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and wanted to help with everything. The room was big with a fantastic shower and the bed was really comfortable. The wifi was consistent and reliable. We were on the 2nd floor and it was pretty quiet in the nighttime, but I can see how a first floor room would be noisy. The breakfast was tasty and a good start to the day. The location was great. Right downtown, walking distance to pub street, markets, restaurants and c... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and enjoyed our stay immensely. Very homely and attentive staff with good food and an enjoyable pool to cool off after a tired day of sightseeing. Rooms were big and cleanliness was maintained. Would like to recommend this place to all tourists who prefer to stay in a quiet well managed and comfortable hotel.

We stayed 2 nights, if we visit again, we will definitely choose another hotel. Positive: 1 it is in the neighbourhood of great restaurants, close to the pub street; 2 one of the female staff at the reception desk speaks really good English which is helpful. Negative: 1 noise issue: The hotel's front garden is under construction which we only knew when we checked in, the hotel did give a noise warning on a piece of paper in... Read more

This hotel is smaller and centrally located in Siem Reap as opposed to the larger tour group hotels and resorts found in the area. We stayed 5 days and found the rooms to be very comfortable. The shower was hot and the bathroom clean and organized. The staff was more than willing to provide any needed services. We loved being so close to pub street, restaurants and the art production area. The staff demonstrated personal concern for our well being.

Just our luck that we arrived on night one of three nights of water festival. Pub street is 50 m away, and they had outdoor music and bass that rattled the hotel well past 2am in the morning each night we were there. Obviously staff was unable to do anything about it, but they did not offer anything to help make the stay perhaps a little more palatable. Had to sleep with earbuds in with white noise playing, take sleeping pills, and still could not sleep with the rumbling. I would recommend stayi... Read more

I just stopped by the hotel for a cup of good coffee and was simply amazed by the friendliness of their employees! They would literally do anything to make me feel more than comfortable, especially Men Pisey. He not only did let eat my cookies from the market, he even gave my a plate and napkins for it then brought me a flower as decoration, refreshing towels and constantly came to refill my glass of water. Simply amazing! :)

You have two immediate problems with this hotel: 1. You can hear the thump of the music from Pub Street until the early hours. (and it wasn't just the water festival, it carried out after it finished) 2. You can hear the thump of the construction whilst this hotel gets redeveloped. Problem No. 2 will go away in a few months no doubt, but problem No. 2 won't I chose this hotel because of it's location, value for money and the positive reviews it got from this site.
