I have stayed at this hotel in Phomn Pehn the last 2 years! They offer clean rooms well equipped with everything you need and cleaned nicely every day. The rooms are large and roomy and decorated with beautiful murals and large windows. There is a beautiful breakfast buffet with made to order eggs, noodle dishes, lots of fresh fruit and ready made food! BUT the best part of this hotel are the staff! Many have become my friends. I stayed for 2 weeks at the Frangipani Living Arts Hotel when I arrived in Phnom Penh in early June 2015. The room is very basic, but clean and comfortable. The king size bed is a bit too hard, and the curtains too thin to keep the sun light from entering. But the excellent breakfast and friendliness of all staff compensate for any issues. The swimming pool is also great and relaxing. Highly recommended hotel in PP.

We strongly recommend The Frangipani hotel . the staff is wonderful and very helpful making sure you had everything you need. The location is close to Russian Market and very convenient to get a tuk tuk. Not many restaurants around but you can easily go to the center and get a beer for $0.50 ! The breakfast is amazing, room very clean and beautiful. To dine was a bit expensive considering the size of the portions, but the food and drinks were awesome. It is a comfortable place to stay. There are many restaurants nearby, where one can go on foot. The lighting is wonderful in the room, in the elevator, and at the lobby. I hope they will put a reading light at the working desk as well. Breakfast is good, cleaning is thorough. Swimming pool does not look very enticing (I did not see anyone swimming during my stay).

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and again I was impressed (for a Se Asian context). The staff are great! They are helpful, very friendly and are continually looking to help without being intrusive. The breakfast (included) buffet is great with a great selection of local fruits, SE asian breakfast food and a really good omlet bar. Traveled at the end of December 2015 till early January 2016. We had an amazing time at the hotel, however the bathrooms and rooms seem to be worn out a little. Choose top floor rooms as the rooms on 2 sides open up to the next hotel. I assume this would be an issue for most hotels in the area. There are nice restaurants nearby with various selections. The one just outside the hotel had an awesome selection and the portions are generous. Breakfast at the hotel was good/average and the fruit ... Read more

We have stayed at this hotel on two occasions. The staff are sweet and very accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance to the Russian Market as well as several great Western style restaurants. Our room was very clean and modern, though the bathroom/shower is more "cambodian style" than I was expecting it was still very clean. The breakfast is very good, they offer a good mixture of Cambodian food if you are feeling adventurous and some Western food as well. The pool is clean and very re... Read more

Stayed at this hotel in January 2016. It was in a great location. There were restaurants nearby, and it was an easy walk to the Russian Markets and to the cafes near the market. It was also very easy to catch a tuk-tuk from right outside your door to other locations in Phnom Penh. (Be ready to pay between US$3-5 for one way). The lobby was nice with a lot of seating. It leads to the swimming pool which looked nice, and I wouldn't have mind taking a dip on some of the hot days. There was onl... Read more

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel upgraded our room for the duration of our stay - the king sized bed was very comfy and the bathroom clean and spacious. We booked to discover it was not the hotel we thought it was. While it was OK, it is a fair bit out of the way, hence the deals. Nothing wrong with the rooms , not flash , but no problem. Bed, air-con, flat screen TV, cable channels all ok. Bathroom is a shower and toilet which can get very wet all over the floor from the shower as it does not drain well. Breakfast is so so. Nothing special but nothing actually wrong. Our friend stayed at the other Frangipani Royal and highly recommends it.

I visited way Back in 2014. I like the way how this small hotel is decorated. My room had a poster bed complete with curtains. The toilet is well thought of too. I found the ladder style rack for hanging towels creative. The location is also good and central. I will remember it most for the French bread served at breakfast which is baked at the kitchen hotel. Nothing beats the smell of brewed coffee and freshly baked bread at breakfast.

Pool wasn't much on the rooftop and it was unattended when we were there but it's nice to dip into when the heat gets too much! Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice!
