There is nothing special about this hotel. It is decent, but looked like there were best options around town. Hardly any of the emloyees speak English, the rooms are sort of small and ours had a view to a wall. The street is a bit noisy at night. They claim to have a swimming pool in the rooftop but it is more of a jacuzzi in a very boring setting.

Tastefully decorated and kitted out hotel and rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only booked for 1 night but got very good room with double aspect and views over rooftops towards the Mekong. Bathroom small but adequate. Nice bar on top floor at which we had reasonably good cocktails one evening - comfortable place to sip away looking at the lights across the city. Very good breakfast next morning - great selection of food laid out considering size of the hotel. We had lunch later in th... Read more

We stayed three nights. Overall, it was a very good experience with the room being modern and stylish, comfy beds and a narrow balcony from which we watched a fireworks display (in the distance) on one night, and a terrific thundery downpour on another night. Our room was at the front, facing the front street, but not noisy at all. Great location about three minutes walk from the Royal Palace, and adjacent to a park with terrific fountains and monuments. We stayed for three nights after booking at short notice. We arrived really late and the manager found us the next day to welcome us personally. Our room was more than spacious, nicely decorated and had a small balcony. The street was a little noisy but it didn't bother our sleep. The location is perfect and close to so many things. We could walk to the busy waterfront. The local Tuk Tuk drivers were also great to us. Special thanks to staff Leng Pich & Sophea who made drinks on the cute rooftop... Read more

Whistle stop one day and night with my friends. After a v long bus drive and then flight from Bangkok, I was ready for a nap and a clean up. For the price everything was amazing. The staff were exceptional. Had a nice nap and a shower then went out walking around town. V good location near the palace and river. Following this, took the swim shorts and had a dip In the rooftop pool, too cool off, and met my friends who went to see the killing fields. This was such a great evening. My friends and ... After very long bumpy bus ride from Siam reap we arrived at this pleasantly surprised hotel, staff were very hospitable , and great views from roof pool bar which was great after being in heat , nice cool dip & glass of beer. The room was very small and lacked views. The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and freshly cooked bacon and omelettes were yummy

Friendly staff and room was clean. Taxi to/from the airport was $13-15. Tuktuk to the central market was $2-3. It's walking distance to the waterfront area around 20 mins, not bad at all. If you want to stay away from the crowd, there's a backpackers just the other side of the road that you can grab a drink there with nice and relaxing music. Also try the root top bar of the hotel. Although can hear next door loud music but having a glass of wine in the jacuzzi is enjoyable (bubbles not turn... Read more

Small boutique hotel in central Phnom Penh with easy access to Central Market and Riverside. The rooms are decorated in a european and minimalistic style. We stayed in a triple room on the 5th floor with a nice balcony and view over the city. We were three people but only 1 chair, and two towels. Online it looks as if there is a small pool - there is not! It's actually only the size of a bathtub :-( Massage is quite expensive and can be bought in shops around the neighbourhood for a lot less.... Read more

This is a nice, small hotel in the heart of Phnom Penh. The room was small but clean. I think it's probably quite good by PhnomPenh standards, not one of the big high-end luxury hotels but very good for price. The staff weee very nice and extremely helpful. Close to royal palace so well situated.

Our group had a most comfortable stay. Rooms are clean and have all necessary amenities, and staff are most friendly and helpful. The morning buffet breakfast was simple and adequate. The pool is small but adequate for a cool off dip at the end of the day and the roof top bar area was a pleasant oasis.

Our room in this hotel was beautiful. Everything was updated and the room and whole hotel were spotless. We also really loved the breakfast here. They have a small buffet which includes some local dishes that changed each day and were EXCELLENT. The staff was so friendly as well and helped us with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place for a great stay in Phnom Penh.

Booked the hotel because of the rave reviews. Disappointed with stay as location wasn't good. Hidden among other buildings and smaller restaurants. Buffet every morning is the boring same. Slow to the core. No 'box' for takeout as we had to leave early. Breakfast opens at 6, but all hot food not available. Room ok but room allocation poor. Travelled with my children, but placed them in separate rooms on different floors!

We stayed here for one week, traveled around Cambodia for 10 days, then returned "home" for a final week. We are part of an teacher study abroad group. The staff is always friendly, helpful and pleasant, the hotel is clean, breakfast is wonderful, and we are very much at home here. Great location: close enough to downtown, but on a quieter side street. I'll miss it here. It has been.a wonderful place to stay in Phnom Penh thanks to the warm and welcoming staff.

Very nice mid range hotel close to river and royal palace and other Phnom Penh attractions. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, our room was large and immaculate with a small balcony overlooking the street. We had a fantastic time in the city and surrounds. Getting to know and understand the country history is quite an eye opening experience when you consider how brutal the past has been. It's sad in man ways and left me wanting to learn more about its history and why it's been left behind as a third world country. The food is great. The people are always full of smiles and happy to say hello. While we were warned many times to watch for pick pockets and the like we didn't actually see or experienc... Read more

It is next door to the King Grand which is part of the same group I understand. We arrived by boat from Chau Doc and the hotel was approx a 2km walk. I had a decent two-night stay at the Queen Grand. They offer a very modern and somewhat sanitized version of the Phnom Penh experience, which will certainly appeal to travelers who are not so comfortable with the quirky realities of Southeast Asia. However, my favorite thing about staying in Cambodia is the laid-back charm and funkiness of the place and that is not really how I would describe the Queen Grand.
