Quick overnight stay at Silver River Hotel before continuing travels. Room was spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable. Small balcony to street side with table and 2 chairs. Well stocked mini bar. Good value for money. Breakfast was ok. Close to major attractions.

The hotel is situated near the mekong river where a handful of tourist places are at the vicinity. The crew are quite friendly. The room is spacious. The breakfast isnt that sumptous but is a- ok.. I would recommend it for budget conscious travellers like me

I stayed last month one night with my wife. hotel was booked for me by my holiday agent. though it's centrally located but area is overcrowded and inside hotel also you feel suffocation. Room was clean but needs renovation. Bathroom was not very good and needs modernization. My room was not big and a bit small for two persons.Staff was helpful

This hotel is located close to the palace and river front. The area is overcrowded and to get anywhere safely you will need to take a Tuk-Tuk. Room was clean and reasonably proportioned but in desperate need of renovation. Overall an average hotel and fine for an overnight stopover.

This hotel is basic - the breakfast was basic - the staff did all the basic stuff - nothing special - it was safe and clean - thats about it - BUT we had massages and mani/pedi s across the street and that was fun and cheap too -

Really enjoyed the feel of Old World Class Hotel. Location on a great dining street, and situated nicely in center of city. Enjoyed their Breakfast Buffet. Staff was courteous and helpful. Good Value. Highly Recommended.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. The rooms are small but still ok and the bed are amazingly comfortable. Few hooker bars in the area but it's nothing compare to Bangkok. We had a front balcony room and we were not disturbed by the noise. I would go back for sure.

I know this hotel since it opened a couple of years ago. But my last stay (7 nights in room 501) showed me how run down this place is. 501 and 502 are the two best rooms in this place, both duplex rooms. But on the upper floor, you hear and smell everything from the adjacent room. Breakfast is of poor quality. Staff is friendly but not that helpful.

If you're on a semi-budget, there's nothing wrong with this place. It's Khmer-style (rather than Western style) and kind of no frills but with all the mod-cons. It's in a perfect location if you're looking to stay near the river.

This was my second time staying in this hotel. It is still a great, budget option for the Riverside area of Phnom Penh. The room is clean and A/C worked without a problem. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is pretty good too. This is my "go-to" place in Phnom Penh.

We stayed just one night at this friendly and very well situated hotel. Just a few minutes walk to the Riverside and set amongst the hustle and bustle of PP. Our room wasn't big but the air con worked well and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast simple and served with a smile.

This is an excellent budget option as you are within walking distance of The Palace as well as the riverside area. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and you get service with a smile. Choice of food at breakfast is good, considering what you pay. Food in the restaurant was not really that good, but fortunately we discovered Aussie XL. We had a room with a balcony as I am a smoker, so I really made use of that! Rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Both the manager during the night and day shift and the front desk staff gave great service and are very helpful. The room and toilet are clean. The location is just walking distance to the museum and nice restaurants by the river. I would say the service is the one i liked the most because the staff would really try to assist your needs. what can be improved on is isolating the bar fridge power socket from the rest of wiring in the room since the electric power turns off when you take out the ... Spent close to a month staying here and enjoyed the service, the breakfast and room was clean and well serviced. Located in street 172 you re close to many of the tourist attractions. The elevator is a bonus for a hotel in this price range.

Was in PP for 3 nites to catch up with friends and had my "virgin" stay in this hotel. For the budget price, got a room with a balcony that is clean and functional. Comes with slippers and a safe box. Shower can be hot and strong if desired. Hotel not in a noisy street. Housekeeping and front desk efficient and polite. Coffee house staff went about their duties during B/F without hiccups......what more can i ask for? Internet occasionally an issue though. Within 50 metres left and right of hotel... Read more

This was the smallest room we stayed in whilst in Cambodia and in comparison to other properties we stayed at for the same money was not good value particularly as we booked a deluxe room. In saying that the location was good if you wanted to stay in riverside and the shower (apart from the loss of hot water half way through) was very good. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was okay bur minimal. As it is so easy to get around Phnom Penh I would recommend staying elsewhere as it is bette... Read more

Although only a basic hotel this place has many good points. Excellent location. 10 minute stroll to river. All staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms maybe basic but they are kept very clean. Breakfast is fine. You have a choice and you can order eggs. The restaurant service excellent food, great portions and is as cheap as outside. You must try a meal here. We had meals and drinks with our Khmer friends (10 persons) and it cost 74$. We will always be back.

I have stayed in a couple of hotels in street 172 and this will be the only place I stay from now on. The location is great with endless amount of bars and restaurants just outside the door. The riverside is 5 min away and of course 500 tuk tuk drivers outside if you want to go a little further. The room is a good size, the air con works well and the shower has plenty of pressure and we they provide all your bathroom supplies including toothbrushes etc. There is a large wall mounted TV with n... This is a good basic hotel, Clean the rooms are good, the air con works and is quiet, the staff are really helpful. Bathroom was clean, a bit of mould. I liked it and would stay again. The early check out was a bit of a stretch for the night manager.

We checked into this hotel a few days ago - we booked 2 nights as we wanted to explore Phnom Penh before heading to Siem Reap. The hotel is in a good location as it is near the palace and museum however, I was rather put off by all of the old white men with young Asian girls on their arms... But that's another story! The hotel was clean and the rooms were very basic. A plus was that they offered complimentary bottles of water. We paid ?4.50 each for breakfast which was certainly not worth it! ... Read more

Stayed here for the first time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a wide choice of food and is open till 11.00pm. The hotel security is excellent. The room has a safe and the rooms are of a reasonable size. There are lots of resturants and bars on street 172 and so you haven't got to walk far to get whatever you want. Street 130 and 136 are a short walk or a tuk tuk ride away. The riverfront and Royal Palace are a stone throw away. Will stay again.
