I stayed here for my last night in Cambodia as I was sick in hospital the day before (international sos..highly recommend) I needed one night of rest before I flew home and my friends flew to Thailand the day before. I explained my situation and the manager (I think) Jennifer was so lovely, she let me have a late check out and checked in to see how I was the next day. The room had a great view, comfortable bed and bathroom and I had a nice dinner from the restaurant. Its right on Mekong river an... Read more

Stayed here on one of my many 1 night trips to Phnom Penh and was very impressed at the hotel considering how cheap it was. Our room had an incredible view of Phnom Penh (as this hotel is situated on the other side of the China Cambodia friendship bridge) yet was still only a 5 minute tuk tuk away from the action. The rooms were very clean and the service was fantastic. We had the breakfast buffet which has plenty of choices and the food was well cooked. The swimming pool was well maintained ... Read more

The Hotel typically reminds one of those in China of 80s. Large spacious rooms, with three sided huge windows , overlooking the Mekong river. Great view. Staff was friendly and spoke English. With tariff of around USD 50/- it was a deal. Hotel needs to have some bright lighting in the lobby.

The room is big and overlooks the Mekong river. The aircon however is pathetic and there is no hand shower. The pillows will affect you back and the person taking orders for room service does not know English making it a difficult exercise. Overall the room is nice but they should get more English speaking staff

You may have seen my earlier review. Since then, unfortunately the service and food have slipped. We booked a room for a month but ended up paying a lot for electricity, despite only being there half the time or less. So please bear in mind this is more a review of longer stay deals. To give an example, we were charged $7.95 for one night of electricity, despite barely using the a/c. We are long time customers but despite this, and the fact we have recommended the hotel to our friends, they woul... Read more

Very inexperienced staff with limited English knowledge. The Web pictures are too polished as such you'll be disappointed when on site. During our 3 nights stay we didn't see any couples, family or solo travelers but surely we saw loads of buses of Chinese tourists and probably this is what keeps this hotel on its feet. The breakfast buffet is bland and repetitive. No service whatsoever and we were sweating during breakfast as the air con isn't powerful enough. The room floors and view are nice ... Read more

This hotel is decorated in chinese style. I consider it as a 3 star hotel. The facility of my room is ok. There are a full size and a king size bed in a standard room;therefore, enough room for 3 persons. Breakfast buffet line is in both western and eastern style. Restaurant is on the top floor, good view of the Tone lay sab river. The weakest point is location. It is located in the middle of nowhere. Unless you rent a car, this place is not suit travel's purpose.

very poor and old fashion hotel. To me, its running as if there is no competition in the world and its the only hotel in town, But its not,and there are many other options. Service is basic, rooms are dark, with spartan furniture. Beds are not comfortable, equipped with cheap mattress, Breakfast served 0630-0900 so we never had a chance to check it. Location is out of town and hard to commute, Good if have car, less if not. Wifi throttled. 10th floor very smelly from kitchen and Noisy in the mo... Read more

A nice hotel situated right on the Mekong river. Really easy to get to as just off route 6. It does look a bit dated when you walk in but it is very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely big room with plate glass windows looking out over the river. Nice open air pool on the second floor with sauna and steam room. There is also a gym but we didn't go there. The room has good facilities including air con, wifi, fridge and mini bar. Very comfortable bed with nice clean bedding. The staff speak ... Read more

... from the moment we drove up to this hotel I wasn't convinced. Looked more like a dated 3* rather then a 4*. Staff were unhelpful and did not understand even the easiest requests. The only good thing I will say is, it has lovely views of the Mekong River.

We've stayed in this hotel several times over the past few months as part of an internship we were involved with in Phnom Penh. After a hellish bus journey from Bangkok, we were over the moon with the hotel, but the more we got to know Cambodia, the less appealing this hotel became. It's located on 'the wrong side' of the river, making it hard to enjoy the hundreds of fantastic restaurants along the riverside, or even just to walk into the main CBD - most Tuk Tuks will try and charge you upward...
