Nice room even if lacking a view , pleasant staff, really close to the centre nice pool area copius breakfast buffet and spectacular dinner buffet with cambodian delights things one might not order as a foreigner for fear to make the wrong choice were here made available large seafood display , many things cooked to order and a wide range of national desserts a feast for the palate and the eyes, swift waiters made sure drinks were never missing and empty plates promptly removed had a great eveni... Fortunately, we only had 2 nights at this hotel on the start of our trip to Cambodia. The hotel looks impressive but is in a poor area with nothing really that you can walk to and indeed I would not have felt safe walking around the area at night. Night life is around the Riverside area (restaurants, bars etc.,) and this hotel is a Tuk Tuk ride away. Our room appeared clean and well presented but the view was abysmal. We had previously booked a tour of Phnom Penh so we were up and out early the... Read more

As we turned into the street I thought I had maybe made a mistake - but the Juliana is a lovely hotel. The lobby and rooms are really well presented (as other have mentioned there is no view) but they are clean and well decorated. The staff are all pleasant - but not too forthcoming. The pool is lovely and clean and a great temperature, which is great after a dusty day in tuk tuks, which are necessary to get to the bits of town that you will want to visit - but cheap ($4) and it is really inter... This was our first experience of Cambodia. The hotel was lovely floor boards in the rooms. The staff were most obliging and willing to assist. Service was a little slow. We had an issue with our air conditioning which was not working at all and left us in 40 degree heat but that was rectified promptly. The pool facilities were very good.

My partner and I were supposed to arrive to the hotel around 7:30pm - however due to flight delays and airlines losing our luggage we didn't arrive until midnight. When we arrived the hotel staff were very lovely and accommodating took us and the luggage up to the room. On the morning the staff that were on reception called the airport and organised for our luggage to be dropped off to the hotel (the reception staff didn't get through staright away but kept following up until they did) again the... We recently stayed at this hotel on our annual vacation for 3 nights. It had everything provided, an excellent location, good sized, clean rooms, a lovely pool area, helpful supportive staff, a well equipped gym and wi fi. The wi fi was not great and I had to access it down in the court yard by the pool most of the time. I would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

When we arrived the receptionist was unable to find our book in details we had to wait around while it was sorted out .We found the room to be very dark , we had to turn the light on to find our way around the room , when we looked out our window there was a wall.

My husband and I went to Cambodia for our 15 year anniversary. We stayed at the Juliana Hotel while we were in Phnom Pehn for 2 nights. We called ahead and told them it was our anniversary holiday. We were supposed to arrive a day earlier but a Typhoon had hit Hong Kong, our connecting city so when we arrived they said that the room had not been decorated again for our anniversary arrival. They took us up to our room and then about 15 seconds after we closed the door - they knocked and said we ... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely room comfortable and clean. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The pool was fabulous apart from the afternoon it poured with rain, we just sat undercover until it blew over. Not really much to see without using a tuk tuk which the door man quickly got for us - very cheap too. Phnom Penh isn't the prettiest city - very busy.

We booked here through a travel agent and from arrival we were very disappointed. The room was hot as the aircon was set to 30, the fridge was off and no mini bar. There was no content in the welcome folder and when asked for some all they sent up was the restaurant menu. The restaurant food was below standard for a 3 star hotel. There were fruit flies all over the food and i found egg shell in my breakfast. The price of the food was expensive for the quality. The spa services were also very poo... Read more

A great hotel with all the amenities one could need on a family holiday. They have a wonderful breakfast spread and a nice coffeee shop in the lobby. The approach road to the hotel though is a bit narrow and crowded. Despite that the rooms and inside of the hotel are quite peaceful

Unless you go for the buffet, you will be disappointed by the restaurant. Really not worth it, slow and expensive for the quality. Rooms are large but need some attention. The swimming pool is nice. The Hotel itself is a nice series of low level buildings but the location is unusual. No where near the Riverfront or main tourist areas. Really not much to see within walking distance except small local shops and roadside vendors. This Hotel is Thai owned and the staff do speak Thai, English and Khm... Read more

We were in Phnom Penh to visit the King Palace and Wat Phnom. The hotel was not so far from those places. Hotel staff was welcoming, helpful and did solve problem immediately. The safe in our room was not working and they did replace it immediately. Some staff had difficulties with English but they did call their colleague who can speak English. The room was clean and spacious. Laundry service was ok. Breakfast was good and offered a variety of fruits, breads and hot meals. Coffee and tea facili... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights. Bathroom a weird layout and flooded easily when showering. Room very clean and we had a nice view over the pool. The pool is nice for swimming lengths (even for a keen swimmer like myself). I wanted to use the gym but when I went to look at this very basic facility the only other person in there was a very large man peddling rather slowly on the bike, wearing nothing but a pair of swimming trunks and smoking a cigar which stank the room out massively! No, I am not making tha... Read more
