King Grand Boutique Hotel in a quiet street although plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Rooms clean and bed comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Enjoyed evening at roof top bar next to smaller swimming pool, large pool next to dining area. Plenty of tuk tuks to take us for city tour, especially as we saw birthday celebrations for the King. Convenient location.

Two lovely pools in beautifully maintained gardens. The rooftop pool has a bar with lovely views at night. The rooms are large and clean with excellent door locks. Good location with short walking distance to the river front. Stairs could be an issue for some.

This hotel is in a quiet street and the staff are very lovely and super helpful! Our room was a very generous size and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and generous. Wifi does drop in and out a little, but that is to be expected in Camodia. The staff even helped us get our bags downstairs as the hotel is split into a couple of different levels that aren't all accessible by elevator. But all in all this is a great hotel‚?°‚?°

We were very happy with our stay at the King Grand Boutique Hotel. We'd had a 7 hour bus trip from Saigon through very heavy traffic and were very happy to arrive at the hotel where we were immediately welcomed on arrival. All staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great too. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, excellent food and the service was A1.

Enter the hotel as a guest and you are given a cool drink and wet towel. That is a good first impression that well represents the hotel. A very friendly courteous staff, good breakfast, clean and a good location at a reasonable price. I guess you can't ask for anything more. Just around the corner is a wonderful inexpensive restaurant called the Sing Tra

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and wouldn't have changed a thing. The room was comfortable and quiet, the staff friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The rooftop bar and pool was an unexpected bonus! Highly recommended.

It wasn't the biggest room but it was sweet and they made an effort realising it was our honeymoon with making the bed look romantic ū??? They could maybe do a bit more with the breakfast buffet. Other than that the staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. A cute pool in the breakfast dining area that worked really well and a great little jacuzzi and bar upstairs. Great view from roof terrace and brilliantly located

The hotel is centrally located. It is within walking distance to the Royal Palace , the Silver Pagoda, & the Friendship Monument. It is also close to the Central Market, about a mile, I have to ride a Tuktuk transportation for $3.00 & it was about 10 min ride. My hotel room has a small balcony & a view of the Mekong river . The hotel have 2 swimming pools, one is located right next to the dinning area & it was very relaxing to dine beside it. The other one is located on the ... Read more

A great little hotel in a relatively quiet part of the city....close to everything you'll want to see. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Rooftop pool is magic as are the margaritas :) although perhaps a "happy hour" wouldn't go amiss. Breakfast buffet also a little dull....the same spread, every single day. That said, the staff are all very friendly and helpful making the King Grand a good choice.

Loved our stay at King grand boutique hotel, top of the list of all the hotels we stayed during our Vietnam and Cambodia trip. Beautiful room, nice and clean and very roomy. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Cocktails at the roof top was also great. Thank you for having us

Good value hotel in what will likely be a very nice location in a couple of months. Big work going on a road over but not affected our stay. Very close to the Royal Palace, good rooftop pool and bar to escape the heat and nice breakfast. Recommended

Again lovely staff that can't help enough a bit of a add on design but lovely room better ensuite than the others. Balcony with double glazed door so very little street noise, 2 pools with breakfast being served in the downstairs pool area, lovely even though it was very hot when we visited.

This hotel was lovely. The reception was helpful and staff were smiling. The pools were great though we didn't really use them as there was so much else to do. The rooms were well sized and clean. Breakfast was good and never ran out. Handy location. Would recommend!

This hotel is a great hotel with fantastic facilities. There are 2 pools and a jacuzzi room. All pool near bars and you can get drinks. Rooms are neat and clean. Bathrooms need updating. Close to the riverside and casino. The spa in the hotel is very nice more expensive than om the street but you get what you pay for. Worth the extra money.

Very good hotel, great location, and friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast had a lot of choices, and the hotel is lovely, nice atmosphere. Suntry was particularly kind, both during breakfast and at the rooftop bar.

What a wonderful hotel. Two great pools. The bottom with the dining area right on the edge. The roof top pool great for evening relaxing - in and around the pool. The barman up here is an absolute tourist attraction in his own right! Hotel close to so many attractions - Royal Palace complex, river, parks, restaurants etc.

A very nice greeting on arrival with a cool drink and cold towel after a long bus trip. After checking in straight to the beautiful little pool on the roof where we met SunTree. The views are amazing up there whilst we enjoyed a cocktail made by him -- very nice!! At this stage we decided to eat in house so SunTree set up a table by the pool complete with garden wall and waterfall. The 4 course meal offered to us was delicious and reasonably priced. Throughout our stay this gentleman doted on us... Read more

No major complaints but several minor ones. Wifi strength is acceptable. My wife and I's room (double bed) is an awkward layout where one of us has a wall instead of a bedside table. Our minibar fridge is warm. The rooftop pool is extremely small and murky....not a crowd pleaser for my boys. Staff are friendly and despite the flaws this is a solid 3 stars for me.

This hotel was pretty good. I actually expected alot better from the reviews and photos though however it did the job for my 3 night stay in Phnon Penh. The air con worked and it was clean so thats what matters. The pool is tiny and the roof top pool is more of a spa, I didnt use these. The room was the size to be expected for a boutique hotel. If I was to return to Phnom Penh I would probably stay somewhere a little nicer. The location was great though. About a 10 minute walk to the river sid... Read more

We stayed here for two nights. Staff quite friendly and helpful. Rooms tastefully furnished. There is a spa pool and a bar on the roof. The view is lovely. Just the place for a dip and a cold drink after a hot day out. Bigger pool at ground level. This pool is situated right beside the eating area. So if you want a bit more privacy use the pool on the roof. A good location. A walk to the Royal Palace. Check when booking that your room is in the main building. King Grand Hotel is nice and has an amazing location. It is clean. Yes, the rooms are small. My safe didn't work so they gave me the key to the safe instead. The breakfast is ok. The pool is nice. Small thing that left me uneasy- I asked the tour lady how much a tuktuk to the killing fields would be. She told me $20. Told me to call the front desk when I'd decided if I wanted to go. At 8:30 that evening, I called down. The gentleman told me it was $25 and wanted me to go pay the front desk righ... Read more

The hotel isn't anything special, but very affordable for what you get. Rooms are clean and comfortable and nice and quiet with dual closing Windows. The upstairs pool was a bit sick looking, the water a little murky, but the pool at the downstairs restaurant was really nice. Food was okay but you are in close reach of many other places to eat out. There is a bar on the roof that has okay views of the city, a great place to start your trip away once you are checked into the hotel. Overall we had... Read more

We loved it here . Our room was a little small but clean and tidy . Two pools ! The roof top bar and pool were fantastic . Staff were lovely and helpful, not too much of a tuk tuk ride to get to the markets or river front for restaurants and bars .

Very well situated.  A few minutes walk to their promenade which was a hive of activity. Can be a bit noisy in the evenings. Roads are narrow and dirty. Stayed 2 nights. Large rooms, king bed, linen changed daily. Two pools and poolside dining for drinks at sky bar or breakfast downstairs in morning. Super friendly staff. Fabulous indian/Nepalese restaurant over road 5 paces. Laundry can be done here but expensive. Shop over road offers $1usd pet 1kg. Bar prices almost double from what can be found in streets but great location for walking, meals and views. Would definitely recommend.

We have been very happy with our stay here. Small but intimate, beautiful staff. This was our greeting for Cambodia and it was perfect. The room was clean and big and quiet! The hotel is situated on a busy street but you'd never know once inside the room. Two gorgeous little pools and a roof top bar with great cocktails for about $3.50! Breakfast not extensive, but enough. And small enough to meet and chat to others. Perfect location. Not flash, but great value for money. I'd come back!

The oxymoronic King Grand Boutique hotel is really good. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with very good wifi. Shower was fine, one of the better ones we have encountered on this trip. Hotel staff were delightful. Laundry is per item so expensive but, pop across the road and it is $1 per kilo. Easy walk to river front and close by park. Great Himalayan restaurant across the road. We stayed for 2 nights at the King Grand Boutique hotel as part of a 2 week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Without doubt, this was by far the worst of the 5 hotels we stayed in. Our room, 601, was exceptionally small. One of the beds was so close to the wall that we had to carefully navigate our way around it to get to the bathroom, for fear of knocking our ankles against the bed frame. The bedding was cheap quality - definitely not cotton, but polyester. The worst aspect was the towels. They wer... Read more

This property is a little north of the main central area but only a 5 minute ($2) tuk tuk ride . I my opinion it is well worth it. One avoids the mass production of the big name places and gets far better service and value. The great clean and good sized rooms are complemented by an efficient and friendly staff. The room did not have much of a view (street) but who needs that in an exciting place like Phnom Penh. Breakfast (included in my booking) was buffet with a good range plus eggs etc on... Read more
