I am taking the time to give a wonderful review to the staff of circa 51 for their wonderful accommodation and hospitality. The staff really made our stay in Phnom Penh better than we could have ever expected. My husband and I flew to Phnom Penh with no notion on where to go and what to do given the days we had. As soon as we arrived they quickly helped us organize our days and recommended us to do the Apsara dancing show and have dinner at a very nice restaurant which we decided to do given the... Read more

I spent 9 nights at this guesthouse, which is a rambling post-modernist French Villa in a fantastic, central location. My ensuite room, number 7 was huge and furnished with a fridge, TV, aircon etc, the bed was also very comfortable. Sorya, the manager is absolutely wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and her lovely manner helped me feel like more than just a paying guest. The swimming pool is really beautiful, with overhanging trees and you can order drinks, snacks, breakfast etc poolside... Read more

I had room 4, it is located on the ground floor, next to the reception, bar and swimming pool. When it is noisy in those places you hear it, but it was not too noisy, so that was still ok. If you don't close the curtains, everybody can take a look in your room. There was a strange smell in the room at the end and the airco didn't work. But there is ventilator which worked, luckely. The breakfast was good. Tea or coffee, passion fruit juice, patato bread slice, omelet and fruit. Located in a qu... Read more

We visited Phnom Penh in December 2016 and stayed at Yvette's Circa 51 boutique hotel. The hotel was at one time a large home and is situated inside a walled enclosure on a corner street. On the ground floor as you enter, on the left are two ponds, one of turtles and one with fish. On the right is an infinity swimming pool with a large tree overhanging it and a breakfast/bar next to it. Straight in is a sitting area and a home style dinner table and a desk/check are where we often sat with staf... Read more

Location of the hotel is very good near many of the city's points of interest. Staff is nice. Safety relatively good for PP given presence of many Embassies nearby. However the room I stayed in was infested with mosquitoes. I had to wake up each night of the stay to chase and kill them for hours. That's not acceptable. Isn't the main function of a hotel to provide a place to sleep? Further, cleanliness could be improved. Dust in many places and stains on bedsheets/linen. I liked the charm of ... Read more

I had a lovely time at Circa 51. It had all you are looking for in an accommodation far from home. It was quiet, clean and the staff were very kind an helpful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at this location, and I knew I could relax and take my time to enjoy my holiday! I had a late check-in, and as planed someone was waiting for me at the airport and everything went very smoothly. You can walk to most of the must-see places from this hotel.

We stayed here for our trip for two days. The staff were very accommodating and let us have late check in which was really usefual for us. The breakfast really sets you up for the day. Its a nice hotel tucked away from the busy area. You should get a tuk tuk from the hotel to see the sites. Thanks

This hotel is very clean, comfortable and has the friendliest staff ever. Manager Sorya was very helpful. I had an emergency and had to go to hospital and she was very accommodating with room and everything else I needed. I will never forget the great treatment was provided to us this place. Sorya went truly above and beyond to make us feel at ease and welcomed. She was also very helpful with booking day trips and recommending sights to check out in Phom Phem. Thank you.

A really really good place to start your Phnom Penh holiday At! Nice decor, fantastic pool ( chlorined) Poor breakfast but with ok coffee. Nice location, central market in walking distance so are independence monument and the Royal Palace. A little bit pricey when we compared other hotels but still worth it. We stayed at the terrace room overlooking the pool. A great BIG room with lots of Windows and the terrace. Nice French decor. Bed was very hard compared to Thailand and Vietnam thoug... Read more

Visited Phnom Penh on a work vacation with my mom and stayed at Circa 51 one night. Staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating! We visited when the hotel was not busy and management offered us an upgrade on our room for a discounted price. We especially enjoyed meeting one of the staff members Sorya, and had an excellent breakfast the next day. Photos are accurate representations of the hotel. Would recommend!
