Top class service, room cleanliness, attentive professional staff and good value for money. Location is a short walk from central Sofia. The towel art in the rooms was an unexpected surprise. Rooms are quiet and aircon is not intrusive

Always a good experience with clean facilities and excellent service. Location is good as it is near the park and away from hustle of the center yet an easy walk in if required. Well kitted Gym, small indoor pool, SPA are good and clean.

My husband and I had business in Bucharest so we decided to visit Sofia, Bulgaria. The Hilton Sofia was surprisingly modern, the rooms were spacious and elegant and the hotel was immaculate. The staff were attentive, friendly and assisted us. Overall, a wonderful hotel which far exceeded our expectations. This hotel compares well and exceeds many Hilton Hotels worldwide.

Comfortable and good hotel well located between new and old town. Walking distance to most sights. And there are bikes to borrow which is a nice way of vision the man parks in Sofia. Reception is very nice and helpful.

I have staid in this hotel many times and have never received bad service, the odd staff don't have a smile and the concierge choose who they want to help rather than who needs help which actually lets the hotel down a little and that't the only reason i have selected very good rather than excellent . Good location for both business and leisure. I have a dog and in the last couple of years the Hilton group have started charging 50 euro for a dog. If only staying one or two nights that's a littl... It was very easy for me to book this Hotel. I went directly to the reservation desk as I wanted a booking at the price ageeed with the company I am working for. In couple of minutes everything settled. They they've also recognized my Hilton Honnors membership and when I arrived I had a very good reception. The hotel is modern and the personnel is friendly and flexible. We could have dinner in the bar, since it was more quiet. Next morning I could invite a partner to have a breakfast meeting. Mea... I stayed 2 nights for business here. Frontdesk staff is very professionnal and helpful. The rooms are nice, generous spaces with all amnities you would expect. Meeting facilities and related catering are good. The location of the hotel is ok, it is a only a 10 minutes walk to the most animated street.

Rooms still something from the 70's but yet trying to charge Hilton prices. Considering the nightly rate is probably equivalent to 2 weeks local wages it is nothing but day light robbery. Whilst most staff were helpful Katia, Hilton events organiser, is quite possibly the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever had the privilege of meeting. If you're going to charge global Hilton prices I suggest you get your act together. Another case of Hilton trading off its brand name as opposed to... Read more

We spent two nights at the hotel in mid May. The hotel is located apx. a 30-minute walk from the center of town. While it's not too long a walk, you should take this into consideration. From the airport, it's a 20 minute taxi ride (make sure to ask the driver to turn on the meter, as the ride should not accede 12-13 Lev). We checked in late at night. As HHonor Diamond members, our regular room was upgraded to an Executive room with lounge access and breakfast (which we could choose to have at... Read more

It was my first visit to Sofia, it was only for 2 nights on business We paid 21 euros to have access to the Business Lounge located on the first floor. Size of the lounge is small and gets packed quiet often, hence you might be paying for something that you are unable to use or enjoy. There are drinks and snacks throughout the day and light meal in the evening with alcohol Hotel presence is nice, on first night we walked to the centre. Took us 10-15 mins, many many restaurants to choose from.... Read more

Only five minutes walk from Vitosha St. You can actually walk to all major sights from the hotel. We booked the king executive room for 3 nights. Room was very spacious and everything was clean, even the kettle. Wifi signal was very good everywhere. Breakfast was good as well. They need to improve their service during breakfast though. It seems that they do not set/clean the tables very quickly after someone have finished their breakfast. Also, there is not someone from stuff present at the egg ... Read more

The hotel property is very nice. The common areas and rooms are well-accommodated. It is close to a Metro Station (Station "European Union) and across the street from the NDK (National Palace of Culture). The beautiful view of the NDK, however, is on the other side. The bed was overly firm and not the best for sleeping (but good enough). Also, breakfast was not available in the Executive Lounge (since we stayed in an executive room) on the days we were there. The hotel did allow us, instead to ... Read more

The hotel is easy to spot as it dominates the area, a very useful landmark when walking back through the park! There is car parking outside the hotel. Check in was excellent - the lady (Sophie I think) was very helpful and had excellent English. Our suite (free upgrade as we are Diamond members) was superb and had lovely views across the city to the mountains. There was plenty of space to just sit and relax or use the laptop and the wifi was very good. There is a decent gym downstairs and al... Read more

I have been forced to stay at Hilton in Sofia by my company's travel policy, and I have to say, the worst place I stood in Sofia so far. Everything apart from a bar of soap is an extra, and extras you pay dear. A bottle of water = 4 euros, the same price a taxi driver would charge to go to the aeroport from there. And TV channels include plenty of Al-Jazeera and similar stuff but no option to watch a Euro cup game. Never again.

I stayed at the Hilton Sofia for three nights on business. The staff was very friendly, highly professional, and was available to provide assistance at all times. The restaurant buffet breakfast was very good, as was the service. Taxis were available on-premises, and when there happened to not be one, the staff at the desk or out front would call one immediately. The hotel is located at the foot of a pedestrian bridge that leads to the main pedestrian promenade. This provides easy access to rest... Read more

I always stay at Hilton in Sofia. It is an amazing hotel with staff that caters to your needs. I had room with the access to executive lounge which made easy for children to choose as much meals/snacks/drinks as they liked. The housekeeping service was very good. I always enjoy my stay at Hilton Sofia and will continue to do so

If you are a frequent business traveler, you know that the Hilton properties in Europe can be wonderful, while the American Hilton properties are often less than stellar. This was my first stay at the Hilton Sofia, and it was excellent. Pros - hotel is modern, in tip-top condition, and immaculate. The lobby is large, bright, and happy. Other public spaces are great as well. The rooms are very attractive and appear to have just been renovated since everything looked new. The bed and pillow... Read more

This is one of the better hotels in Sofia - it may be a walk to the centre but it is a pleasant pedestrianised walk through the main shopping street with outside cafes. Rooms are pleasant, clean and quiet. All staff were friendly, (bit shy in the restaurant) but very helpful reception desk. Leisure facilities including pool is small but fine for a city hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a short business stay or city break.

My daughter and I stayed on the 9th floor. We had access to the executive lounge. Our room was spacious, with views of the city. It had coffee/tea making facilities/safe/robes/complementary water/plenty of cupboard space/shower/bath and complementary toiletries. We used the lounge on most days. The afternoon tea of cakes/fruits/teas/coffee/soft drinks were plentiful. In the evening they would have some hot nibbles/salads/desserts/wines/spirits as well as soft drinks. The hotel has a swimming poo... Read more

We recently visited Sofia for two nights at the Hilton. The staff was more than gracious. There was a problem with our airport transportation when we arrived and the hotel got us a taxi for no charge. The room was wonderful, a suite. When it was time to leave, our flight was not until 7pm and the hotel allowed us a 4 pm checkout. If you go to Sofia I would certainly recommend the Hilton.

From the moment concierge Sami picked us up in his shuttle van at the airport, we had a first-class experience at the Sofia Hilton! Rooms are nice size - we were upgraded on our last night in Bulgaria (I believe the room number was 401), and wow, what a fabulous suite! The staff was super friendly and helpful, in the true Hilton tradition. We look forward to returning some day! Thank you, Hilton Sofia!

I stayed a 2 or 3 times before in Hilton Sofia already, and I was very happy with my accommodation. But this time, for the 1st time, I had problems connecting to the wifi. I called somebody from reception, who came and tried to help. It seemed that my firewall activated on the laptop didn't allow the connection (who was redirecting automatically to the hotel homepage). The guy could not help and said I should call a helpline in BG.. In the end I called the IT guy from my company and he gave me i... Read more
