Hi, I am visiting São Paulo for business visit, and stayed here. Hotel rooms are nice comfortable . Big size as Hyatt grand standard would be, however if you are looking to go out to just walk by, probably this is not the best place to be. Hotel generally is very quiet. They have nice indoor and outdoor pool, which you can enjoy. 2/3 Restaurants close during lunch hours , so if you are over weekend in this hotel , you may want to take a taxi ride to any nearby area to hangout. As a traveler the first thing I look at is amenities and service. This is an incredible hotel beautifully designed with lots of great hotel amenities to make your stay enjoyable. I love the size of the room, the complimentary water bottle daily, free Wi-Fi, huge choice for complimentary breakfast, the toiletries are all natural and lastly a hair dryer that is powerful and hair straightener to boot. It's plugged to the wall so you cannot accidentally take it, but it has a long cord. The staff is ... Read more

I visited for business. The hotel is within walking difference of the office but a long taxi ride or over one hour on train/metro to get anywhere else. This wouldn't be so bad except there are absolutely NO restaurants or cafes in the immediate area. You either have the hotel breakfast (VERY expensive) or you wait until you get to the office. They have the audacity to charge R$12 for a single cup of coffee. As mentioned in an earlier review, most of their restaurants are closed for lunch. ... Read more

Stayed just one night, had stayed before, but this time was really fast. The view from the room was amazing and had dinner at the Kinu restaurant. Unfortunately the french restaurant was closed even though they said at check in that it was open. Breakfast was good but they should leave a bigger distance between the tables, it is quite unconfortable to squeeze in.

I am staying here for the last 5 days and would be here for another 5. The Hotel is very good with very courteous and friendly staff. They have three restaurants, a Brazilian, Japanese and a French. The service at the bar between the French and the Japanese hotel could be better. The service at the Brazilian restaurant is far beyond expectations. And the food is also amazing. The rooms are good and comfortable but could be slightly bigger.

Maybe I was just unlucky, but during a recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo I got a dirty room. I landed in GRU early in the morning and went straight to the Hotel, prepared to have a quick shower and then start a Meeting. However, the assigned room had a dirty bathroom (especially shower) and no toilet tissues / paper available. So I had to call the housekeeping to fix it. Took me half an hour and I didn't even receive an apology.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Hyatt. Very good room and excellent breakfast with great fruit & bread. I also tried the Japanese restaurant which was a good surprise. The only drawback really was that I wasn't able to find a bar with a TV. I was trying to see the 2nd half my home team after checking out and wasn't possible. The rooms are minimalistically designed but it reminds me a little of its bigger sister the Park Hyatt in Tokyo, both in terms of being an oasis in the middle of a chaotic city, but also with its very good service. Property is beautiful - high ceilings, beautiful decorations. 3. Club room: excellent offerings. Good quality of food, excellent complimentary alcohol selection. Cons: None come to mind. I stayed in Grand Hyatt São Paulo for one night and I was completely blown away by everything that the hotel has to offer. From the beautiful and sophisticated interior to the smiling, polite and helpful staff, everything is just brilliant. The lobby is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is attentive and shows great care. The rooms is just excellent, the colours, the layout and the design of the room will make you feel better no matter what's the mood when you walk into that room. ... Read more

Very comfortable, sophisticated, offers an excellent service and accommodations and a wonderful spa experience. If possible, choose a room with a view to the "estaiada bridge", which is an iconic São Paulos's post card.

I was here only 2 years ago but see a significant difference..... First the positives: - Large rooms and bath with huge shower and tub - Plenty of closet space and hangers - Table with power outlet - very nice breakfast with fresh fruits and the hot section Negatives: - service was spotty at best - rooms are showing signs of wear and tear, carpet has stains - I found a strange stick inside my blanket (in the duet folds) - on Sunday only their generic restaurant (same as breakfast) was open - g... I have the opportunity to visit São Paulo every 3 months for business meetings and I always stay at this hotel. Great hotel condition, good restaurant and friendly staff. Common areas including Gym/Spa better than average hotels.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed. The bathroom is incredible, the toiletries sumptuous and the staff amongst the friendliest I've had the pleasure to ever encounter. For business travellers is right in the midst of Sao Paulo's business centre, a short drive (distance wise, as with traffic it can take up to 20 minutes) from Murumbi. As for dinning options, the hotel has three great choices, a French, a Japanese and a "regular" restaurant. The three of them are amazing, yet the Japanes... Read more

This hotel feels a bit outdated. Rooms nicely renovated though and the reception/lobby and breakfast area is nice and professional. The service is a bit disappointing as its not very personable not friendly and no special treatment (or recognition) at all for me as a Hyatt platinum member. The gym is pretty well sized and well equipped but both outdoor and indoor pool looks more like public pools ... No luxury, no extras. Same for the sauna which is squeezed in to an odd room. This being said,... Read more

Although far from most of the attractions in Sao Paulo, specially restaurants, it is a modern and excellent hotel. The rooms are spacious but I suggest the club floors with view to the bridge. The bathroom has a good size but it would be better with a double sink.

I love Hyatt Hotels, am Gold Passport member but the Hyatt in Sao Paulo is the worst I have ever experienced. Long lines at check-in even when only few customers are checking in. Personnel rather talks to themselves than servicing customers. Same procedure at check-out. No benefits offered for Gold Membership.

This hotel only care about making a profit and do not care about the customer. The management and receptions are just rude. They charged me for a full night for checking out (prior to 5p.m.) after I Had received validation that I could check out at that time for a small fee (not the whole night cost). I spoke with management and receptionist and they did not care at all. They do not understand the value of the customer. Luckily I get to choose my hotel and I am never choosing this place again.

I stayed a night at the Grand Hyatt in SP for a business trip and would definitely stay there again. I ended up in a suite on the 21st floor with a beautiful view of the city. The service was great through out the hotel (gym, restaurants, club area, etc..) and I would highly recommend this to others.

We visited this hotel in January and it was dreadful. The Hotel was under renovation and there was dust and paint fumes all over the place. You could smell the paint all the way to the eight floor, and for my wife who is an allergic person, this was NOT a good situation. The bath towels were old and torn, the sheets had seen way better days. In August we decided to give this hotel another chance. This time it was a very positive experience ?? great food, super clean and attentive staff! The o... Read more

If you are wondering about where to stay in Sao Paulo, this is the place to be! The location is very convenient as it is next to the ring road that goes around the city. If the meetings are in the area, look no further. The location is the best in my opinion especially comparing with Tivoli which is located at the jammed packed center of the city. The Grand Hyatt is very popular with upscale events. It is near shopping and restaurant area. I had a great weekday stay and added 2 more extremel... Read more

Stayed here for some business conferences and the hotel was absolutely lovely. Stayed on the upper business floor and the cocktail and appetizers were fantastic and there was a large selection of drinks including local offerings. The included breakfast was also marvellous as were the views from the upper floors. One of the most wonderful hotels I have visited. Well located as well in São Paulo - many shops and restaurants near by and not too far from the airport given traffic in the city.

It was safe during the day, but took Uber to get back to the hotel in the evening - Parking: Expensive (R$ 53.00) Overall, great experience

The hotel has an impressive appearance from outside, the rooms are good not excellent , however furniture should start having an upgrade, and carpet should be gone !!!! no hotel rooms should use carpet , they have stains and give you a bad impression. The breakfast is good, omelet is well done, but tapioca needs to be worked on ! the variety of options is excellent. The staff is well educated and I have been well treated in every stay.

In a city which is pretty full-on, the Grand Hyatt is a relaxing and luxurious place to stay if just a little soulless. Thanks to the collapse of the Real and the local economy being up the creek, it??s also affordable to mere mortals not traveling on huge expense accounts these days. The rooms are spacious and excellently equipped and everything like Wi-Fi works as expected. There is a nice restaurant on site with good service and food. No question at all, this is the one of the best and affordable hotels in SP. Please note, you need to know where your business appointment is. So check via Google maps and waze! If the Hyatt is too far from your area change to a hotel near by. Traffic might be really bad in this city. However if close to your appointment the Hyatt is your best choice!

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in Brazil! Amazing facilities, gym, restaurants but what really makes the difference is the staff. From the bell captains and reception who greet you always with nice words, the room service staff who are very polite and discreet , the Grand Club team who makes you feel at home all the way to the management staff who are very accessible and willing to always go a little farther to please you.

This hotel certainly nailed the "grand" part of Grand Hyatt. Large, comfortable rooms with good amenities and fabulous bathrooms. I booked through Amex platinum and got the same price as the Hyatt website BUT a free upgrade and $75 credit. Can't beat it. Their club room is excellent, good gym and several nice restaurants. If you have to go to São Paulo then this property is worth looking into

Great hotel. Club level offers nice privacy and good food/drinks before 20:00. In terms of quality of rooms, bed, spa, etc, it is probably the best chain-hotel in SP (far ahead of the Sheraton, ahead of the Hilton and Renaissace). The negative element is the location, which is 'far away from anything' unless your business location is nearby.

Room, foods, svc are always good. Issue is the guests who makes big big noise in the hallway and elevator lobby. I am using Grand Hyatt 100% for the business purpose and evrytime I request for the room away from the elevator lobby but they always allocate the room right after elevator. Wakes me up with loud noise.
