So for me, the prime things with a hotel are - bed and shower. The beds here are comfortable. The shower is good - forceful and hot. The shower is a bit cramped, but it works. We had two adjoining rooms - parents in one room, children in another. There's an exterior door shared by the two independent rooms; we were given a key to that door, but it was not relevant, as the door doesn't shut. The room floors are laminate, vice carpet, and they've seen better days, but they're not too bad. O... Read more

So I'll start by saying that I was willing to accept the shortfalls in this hotel as I was staying for one week during the Olympic Games and it was all I could get, but therefore the price I paid was less than other hotels but still totally unacceptable for the condition! The hotel is located within walking distance of a mall and many public transport routes including the best mode BRT (Americas Park stop) and the hotel operate a free golf buggy to a ferry that takes you over the lagoon and to t... The Noise go through the walls you can hear douche shower front next to room people talking, their TV anything that happens in the next room or in the room above! My company made a commitment to put everyone that stays at Barra in This hotel, for sure I will talk with the right people to change it. Called the front desk to complain about other noise guests, their answer was cant do anything.

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice and large room, good breakfast with fresh fruit, and all the other things you'd expect (eggs, cheese, pancakes, etc) and good service. They were kind enough to let me stay very late without any additional charge.

I stay in this property for work frequently. More than 3 times, I already experienced noise in the neighbor room. Rooms are too close. This week, I was waken up by the room keeper at 21:40, bellboy at 22:30 and there was a party in the neighbor room. I called the receptionist at 00:30 and he was very rude. If you are on vacation, maybe you don't have to care. But if you are traveling for work, this is a big issue.

I loved the Bourbon. It's very quiet, comfortable, The air conditioner is quiet and adapt to you. The restaurant is very nice and the breakfast with a lot of options :fruits, breads, cheese, cakes, coffees, and the people is so kind, so well oriented.I want to come back for sure! They have transportation to the wonderful beach and it is so beautiful area!Near to everything and to the airport.

The hotel is very good, the bedrooms are confortable and cleaned. A good option to stay in Rio. Near of Jacarepagua Airport and shoppings. The restaurant service is slow and there's no information to the client. You have to pay attention to the service, otherwise you'll spend your time there.

Everyone associates Rio with beaches and sea. But that's not all. You can get a place encircled with swamps, where instead of seagulls you will be meeting voulters in the morning. The hotel is dusty. The carpets on rhe corridors used, with spots, smell of unclean surfaces is all the time present. It is a miracle to find a staff member who speaks English. Food all the time the same, for the evening receptions they served leftovers from the lunch, counting like for an extra dinner. Far far far awa... Read more
