I recently stayed at the Rafain Palace Hotel and Convention and while the hotel staff were both friendly and helpful, I am sure there are far better options in Foz do Iguacu. The hotel lobby is clean and inviting with ample seating. There are two main pools, a hot tub and a bar in the pool area with pool chairs and hammocks for you to lounge in, which seems great. However, the pools always seemed to have leaves and debris and the pool area was undergoing renovations. At times, it was quite lou... Read more

Went to Foz 3 years ago and stayed here for a week. It was an excellent choice. This is rated as a 4**** hotel in Brazil and South America, but be careful if you're coming from Europe. Stars are different there. :) In Europe this would be a 3*** hotel, but great nevertheless. The food and service were very good here.

We arrived at 12:30 am due to a delay enroute. Staff was helpful, even at that hour. Public areas are quite nice. Breakfast offers a variety of good food. All-in, a great place to stay while visiting the falls and Itaipu.

Big event space and convention center, very poor WiFi, good breakfast, good swiming pool, sport areas needs a urgent reform. Located 10km far from downtown, in the middle of the BR-277 Road, near a gas station, is 30 km far from Cataratas do Iguacu atraction. So, if you did not rent a car, be prepared to pay $$$ for transfers.

Stayed there 3 nights, confortable and big beds. Our party has 4 person, 2 adults and 2 children. I found that the room dont have the proper noise isolation from corridors. So in the night we can hear everything that happens outside the room. This need to be improved. Besides this fact, the breakfast was very good and the property is well maintained.

This hotel is located close the highway and not so close to the downtown and any convenience close. The room is good but have no desk, if you want to work, you will need to find another place. I believe this hotel is recommended for people that are in holidays or participating in a congress, seems that they have a convention center attached, that I need to confess they have an excellent infrastructure for events.

Hotel has a terrible location far from town. The rooms are in poor condition. The first room we were given was dreadful, with mold on the shower vent and lampshades, among other problems. We complained and were given a better room in the central part of the hotel, but even the new room does not fulfill the standards one would expect of a business/convention hotel. Additionally, the only restaurant is a buffet with mediocre food and the lobby bar has a limited selection of drinks and uncomfortabl... Read more

We were unpleasantly surprised by the Rafain Palace, where we stayed while attending a Convention onsite. The rooms are small, and there are no desks or chairs in the standard rooms where the wi-fi was irregular at best. The rooms are in poor condition, with cracks in the wood and plaster. Storage space was minimal. Their was an unpleasant odor that permeated the hotel, and the smell of raw sewage was obvious in the bathrooms. On a minor positive note, the air conditioner worked, there was a fun... Read more

Most rooms are outdated, we had to change to a slightly renovated room, but still did not feel nice. We attended this hotel because we were stuck with a conference there. I would never return otherwise.

The bedroom was terrible old and small. The wi-fi connection was awful. In addition, it is really very far from every attraction. The taxi costs were huge. Good conference's rooms and structure. Good breakfast and meals.

Hotel offers a great cost-benefit... very attentive employees... easy of access... well placed. In mine particular bedroom, WiFi did not work as it was supposed to be. But it is a very good place to be, anyway... :-)
