The first mistake started at the check in. The gave the same apartment for 2 families then after went up and I had to go back to the front desk and sign for a new apartment. The apartment was clean but had terrible smell that later I found out that was mold at the curtains. I suffered from allergies and I barely could stay for 2 nights. I sent a complain after my stay and never received any return. I won't go back to this place!

Stayed here for a week in March. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold food. Reception was very present with helpful staff. Very close to the shops and famous beaches. Very good Resturant right next door called Maxims Paellea on first visit where they kindly put the Wales v France rugby game on tv for us to watch. Also tried the beef stroganoff which was really nice. Good food good service. I would recommend for a good plate of food. Did not eat at hotel other than breakfast. Rooftop pool go... Read more

We stayed here for 3 days this week and had a fabulous time. Excellent location and hence excellent beach view plus view of Christ the redeemer statue from the roof top swimming pool, fabulous service and the buffet breakfast had over a 100 different elements, all of which tasted divine. Even the mini bar snacks were not too exorbitantly priced. One of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at!

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel which is right in the heart of Copacabana and as close to the beach as a hotel can get. It's a stone's throw from the Belmond Copacabana Palace which is one of the nicest hotels in Rio, so you're getting a great location. We had a very large group in Rio for check-in (12 people) and got there kind of early. They brought us to the bar area where we sat down and they gave us forms to fill out. It was a little confusing at first, but the staff spoke good Englis... Read more

Well located hotel, on Copacaban beach front. Hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms as well,, although tend to be a bit tight. Bathrooms are ample. Service from check in all through the stay until check out is splendid. Buffet breakfast is more than plenty and of excellent quality. Buffet finner for and extra US$ 15.00 is also very much upto standard. Also high speed wi fi internet all over the hotel is absolutely free, unlike other comments I have seen on other portals.

The hotel is new and comfortable room, but the staff are rude and unkind. They only want your money and don't care if you like it or not. If you ask a question they will simply answer you that it's not their business. No concierge and if you want some information on what to do, forget it.

Location, location, location. That was step one in my hotel search for where to stay in rio and this one fits the bill. You literally are right across from copacabana, with restaurants all within walking distance. The staff was friendly, they werent american "howdy ya all" friendly, but more of that reserved european polite friendly with just a hint of stuffiness. Dont take that the wrong way though, you have to adjust expectations when you travel. They let us check in very early, huge plus..and... Read more

Good location, safe close to all of your needs. Has a breakfast buffet included in the price. Very good buffet to start the day at 0600. If you book tours, they seem to all pick you up right here. The beach is just across the road out front on av. Atlântica. In the morning all lanes of traffic go in the same direction. Later one side goes south the other north. Room size is fine. i had to single beds in 1003. Has a fridge to load up with beer, junk food etc. has a safe in the room. Good ac, cl... Read more

Very average for a 4 star and the claims it made. The pool was closed for 2 days which was the main reason we chose the hotel for our 10 day stay. The room was comfortable, beds were good and the room well done for a 4 star. The location is excellent as its on the beach and close to Posto3. Breakfast was good, large selection that was good quality. It's really easy to take a sun umbrella and hotel towels to swim and relax on the beach. Maintenance, thin walls and noisy neighbours, pool o... Read more

My partner and I visited this hotel in Aug/Sept 2016. We had a room on the 6th floor with a sea view. It had a large, comfortable king size bed that would have easily accommodated four children! The bathroom had a bath, shower and two sinks and the shower was nice and powerful. The views of the beach were excellent and the hotel was nice and quiet at night enabling guests to have a decent sleep. The hotel provides a breakfast buffet which is available from 6am-10am and has lots of choice in... Read more

The rooms are small. Breakfast is included. You are right across Copacabana beach. Small pool on the roof with bar service. Great view of Copacabana beach on the roof. Tours to Sugar Loaf and Christ The Redeemer are near by. Small room or not, you are out most of the time anyway. Friendly staff if you need information.

Pros: - Location - Location - Location (across the street from Copacabana) - Views were fantastic (both of Christ the Redeemer from the terrace as well as the beach) - Nice places to eat closeby - Cabs are all over the place Cons: - Can't think of any...slow check in but that is really nit picking
