I just got home from a trip to to this place. We were greeted with Friendly & Willing staff from the minute we arrived on checkin. We stayed here to attend our friends wedding at Cambridge's on the second night of our stay. The wedding reception-Though it rained hard and the wedding was outdoors under the dining tent it was a very nice reception dinner. The staff during the wedding did an exceptional job keeping the drinks to order and hor'dourves flowing. While late April is still early in the season, when it's 75 and a light breeze with the sun beating down how can you complain? Ample seating on the main beach, with chairs/umbrellas available on the others. Excellent food. Attentive staff. Unreal beaches and views. No need to leave the resort.

Love the location, even tho it is a bit remote to the rest of the Island. Beach is fabulous, best on the Island. Beach restaurant, Breezes is great; main dining room has been up and down over the years but always adequate. Staff is very good also. This is a quiet, adults only resort, so it you're looking for night life be ready for Bermuda cab fares! Good golf is close at Port Royal and you can book sails and snorkel boats at the hotel. Scuba at South Hampton Princess is very good.

Really nice setting, excellent room (suite), plenty of amenities, great customer service. Unfortunately, the beah bar/restaurant was not yet open for the season, and our dinner at the main dining room wasn't very good. On the other hand, breakfast was great. The property is a little isolated, which was both good and bad; it was really nice to be there, but getting around to the rest of the island was a bit inconvenient. Physical location was positively beautiful, room comfortable, food was good: breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner. But most of all we found all of the employees a pleasure to interact with whether it be getting a ride back to the room, asking about the facilities, getting a cool drink on the beach, assisting in getting boarding passes printed or any other reasonable and sometimes not so reasonable requests granted. I cannot remember any vacation where we felt this way about the attitude and willi... Read more

We enjoyed every minute of our six day stay. We had an ocean view suite that was comfortable, very large and had a great balcony. My wife wanted to bring home the bathroom; it was that perfect; double vanities, makeup table, whirlpool tub for two and a shower with a view. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed both the pool and the beach. This is a very romantic place. It is low key, quiet and understated. Cambridge Beaches was just what we were looking for. Although it was not our plan... This resort is a wow. The resort is on a penninsula, so the views are excellent. The grounds and facilities are well maintained. The beach and infinity pool are well cared for. I did find that there were a couple of stains on the furniture in the room that should have been taken care of. While the food was excellent, I found that some of the waitstaff did not know the food that well (did not know whether the fish of the day was flaky or dense, did not know the difference between a vegetable pu... What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is a lovely hotel in a great setting. I stayed here for five nights in May and had my wedding here. First off, the rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated, and with good a/c, which is a must in Bermuda. One small gripe, the walls are very thin. So expect to hear everything that goes on in the next room. The grounds are superb, with private beaches, a lovely infinity pool and indoor pool/gym. Cambridge Beaches in a remote area of Bermuda that is beautiful, peaceful and sophisticated. The staff was excellent, food wonderful & the 4 beaches fantastic for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling & play. Water sports varied with excellent equipment. For a small, peaceful & relaxing retreat, it was great.

Our room was a water view- absolutely stunning- of Mangrove Bay. The room was clean, cool and the balcony was very nice. There were a bit of ants, but that is likely with most island places. The beach was SO magnificent. We stayed the entire day on the beach. The buffet breakfast was very good, lots of choices. Would definitely stay again.

I'll start by saying that Cambridge Beaches left us wanting nothing through our entire stay; from the level of service, to the outrageous ocean views, to the quality of the food, we were impressed and taken care of from the moment that we arrived. A couple of notables below... - We were upgraded to the Vanderpool suite, which was stunning and had beautiful ocean views, along with a small terrace area with lounge chairs and umbrella. My husband recently stayed in a water view room which had an amazing view from the sliding door and window. Just like the entire island of Bermuda, the resort is an absolutely beautiful island with amazing beaches and stunning houses and foliage. However, the room and accommodations are very dated and run down. The rooms have dated furniture, a/c units, stains on the carpets and overgrown weeds outside the entrance ways and balconies. The biggest frustration was the number of ants and bugs throu... Read more

We stayed in windswept cottage and to one side we had the sea, and the other side was mangrove bay, cottage was always clean and tidy. Minor irritation was the 2 tv channels we wanted to watch, bbc news and the golf channel were buzzing all the time. My family and I recently went to Bermuda for my Sister-In-Law's 40th Birthday and stayed at the Cambridge Beach Resort. The resort itself is a little dated, but some of the rooms are renovated and have been updated without losing that Bermudian Colonial feel. We had rooms overlooking the beach side with nice sliding doors and wide patios - just steps away from the Beach. We also had a smaller room up along the cliff which was also great. The breakfast buffet is very nice - with lots of option a... Read more

We just got back from a very relaxing and comfortable stay at Cambridge Beaches. We stayed in a Deluxe Water View which was beautiful! The deluxe rooms have more upgrades - doorless rainfall shower, higher end fixtures, etc. Ours faced Long Bay which was lovely - we would spend the evenings before dinner lounging in our private terrace watching the sunset. Everyone at Cambridge Beaches was so friendly! The breakfast buffett and afternoon tea, both complimentary were quite lovely. Food at... Read more

Easily one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and I have travelled a bit. Everything we wanted to experience in Bermuda was experienced at this hotel. Onsite water sports including an amazing motor boat rental and ride that we did by ourselves to a nearby shipwreck, dropping anchor and snorkeling through. We additionally took the boat to a beach we found on a small uninhabited island with a packed lunch we got from the hotel! Amazing! The sunset beachfront dinner is not to be missed. Ta... Read more

Cambridge Beaches is not for everyone as it does not have the hustle and bustle of the big Bermuda hotels. However, for our family, the resort is a timeless, quaint, private reserve with impeccable service, manicured gardens, and multiple pink sand beaches. Cambridge Beaches is situated so that one can access restaurants, golf, shopping, etc. within a short 20 to 30 minute taxi ride. Perfect setting, white sandy beaches ,incredibly friendly service, huge rooms and wonderful food make this a memorable spot and we continue to go back. It is far from everything though. They do provide a shuttle to the ferry to Hamilton for a day excursion. Otherwise it is an expensice taxi ride to most places. The staff really bends over backwards for guests.

We'd visited the island 25 years ago spending our honeymoon here. Our original hotel no longer exists so we decided on Cambridge Beaches and were delighted that we had. Our cottage (Ocean View Deluxe) "Long Bay" was a few steps to the beach itself. Because we were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary the hotel left a bottle of wine, chocolates and island print pictures for us in the room. Also, as we'd arrived in the evening a platter of cold cuts were delivered to the room, which was a n... Read more

I had a wonderful experience staying at Cambridge Beaches last week. Beautiful views at Long Bay beach (request a room near Long Bay beach), especially of the spectacular sunsets each night, which you can view while dining at Breezes on Long Bay beach. The staff are friendly & willing to help with anything you may need. You can rent scooters on the hotel property to get around too. The only downside is the furniture & rooms are a bit dated, and the Wifi doesn't work well.

Depending on the room you get it is a solid 4 star (this is NOT the Ritz) but the location is 5 star all the way.
