My husband and our two children (ages 4 and 2) just spent 4 nights at Belcampo and I cannot say enough good things about it. The four of us stayed in one of the Ridge Suites, which was beautiful and absolutely spacious enough for the four of us. In fact, this was probably one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, from the layout to the small amenities, like reading lights and well placed outlets (such a minor thing, but such a welcome change from most hotel rooms that lack a convenient ... We have stayed here many times and each time it more that meets up to our expectations. The rooms are amazing, we really did feel like we were up in the trees! The jungle shower is incredible! The service top notch, they even left a bottle of Prosecco for us for our wedding anniversary after turn down! And, the food delicious. The jungle setting is perfect for getting away from it all and the sounds of the jungle and howler monkeys make it all the more amazing. Totally recommended as one of... Read more

My husband and I stayed at Belcampo for 3 nights back in June of 2012 (even though the date listed on tripadvisor says 2015;). We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in Belize. To this day, 4 years later, we continue to regularly reminisce about our stay at Belcampo. It was a dream come true. Absolutely breathtaking! The staff, room, food, property, jungle life, excursions, drinks....all to die for. We truly hope to return one day, especially now that Belcampo's recent additions ... Read more

Belcampo is a rarity in Belize because you're in the jungle but have access to great snorkeling and the ocean. If there is any doubt about being in the jungle, the howler monkeys will cure that....and they're often about. The snorkel with the chef day trip is a phenomenal experience; try not to eat too much on board so you can continue to swim! Beyond the wildlife and great location, Belcampo is also about sustainable agriculture (grown often on site) and farm to table dining....and the food ... Read more

We were met at Punta Gorda airport by Chan who was to be our birding guide and driven to the lodge. We stayed in a Ridge suite which was very nice. Loads of space, super balcony, excellent bathroom and huge room with comfortable bed. There was also plenty of storage and hanging space which enhanced our comfortable stay. The suite had air conditioning and wifi which was excellent. The four Ridge suites have their own pool with deck and chairs and the views are tremendous. We had many birds inc... Read more

The Belcampo Lodge located in PG, Belize is the best lodge in the entire country of Belize. The lodge grows its own vegetables and fruits and animals and will soon begin to make their own rum. The lodge is located outside of town and is full of natural life and a beautiful scenery of green trees and flowers. It is a calm and peaceful environment with a friendly and helping staff. The rooms are especially perfect for a weekend getaway with a loved one or for a honeymoon. There is a spa and also a... Read more

I have now made two trips to Belcampo Lodge in Belize. Three things strike me when I visit. First, the area is beautiful and not overly developed like other destinations in Belize. The jungle meets the sea there and the wildlife abounds because Belcampo sits within a huge fisheries reserve area. Birding, fishing, diving, horseback riding, hiking, river exploration, Mayan ruins are all available in minutes and made all the more fun and interesting by Belcampo's smart and friendly guides. Second, ... Read more

We are a family of 3 20 something boys and are Always trying to find a great adventure with fabulous acoomodations and belcampo did not disappoint. Our guide Jose was extremely flexible and our kids loved having him along for the adventure. Food was fabulous and the chef Renee could not have been friendlier. We loved the tour of the gardens, lunch with Vince at the blue creek cave area, swimming thru e cave, jumping off the waterfalls, and kayaking the rio grand. Would highly recommend this t... We booked the all-inclusive honeymoon package and could not have been happier! The staff was amazing and everyone truly seemed to love sharing their knowledge and experiences. The location was breathtaking and even better than the pictures on their website could make you believe. I would highly recommend the Belcampo Lodge to anyone!

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Belcampo Lodge in late May 2016 and only regret that we weren't there for longer. We are still in awe of the incredible service, the stunning setting and the absolutely amazing food. We stayed in one of the Ridge Suites (#14 with the sunset view) and can't recommend it highly enough. Whatever the cost difference is between the Ridge and Jungle Suites, I think it's definitely worth paying for the seclusion, the view and access to the semi-private infinity pool. ... Read more

After reading the TA reviews of Belcampo our expectations were pretty high, however, Belcampo managed to exceed them still! Everything you've read about the beautiful accommodations, staff, food and scenery are all on point. The staff goes out of their way to surprise and delight at every opportunity. We celebrated my husband's birthday at the lodge and were treated to a lovely cake and bottle of prosecco in our room. The excursions are really phenomenal. We went in mid-September which is slow... The ascent into the resort by Land Rover hinted toward the adventures to come. The resort offers archaeological and adrenaline laced excursions. Add the pristine waters of the Belizean Barrier Reef and you'll appreciate how there is no shortage of activities. Several types of Spa services are offered if you can sit still long enough. Bel Campo's farm onsite is well maintained and abundant. Fresh is first in their kitchen. Approximately 80% of what is consumed on property is harvested there and... Read more

Stayed at Belcampo for a week of fly fishing out of Punta Gorda for Permit. Although the fishing was tough the sty at the lodge was great. Phenomenal meals and lots of it. The Shrimp Ducky on the dinner menu was almost worth the trip on it's own

This is certainly one of the most exotic and luxurious locations anywhere in Central America. The food is stunning, local, delicious, and innovative. There are tastes of cultural favorites and clever new ideas. The chocolate is magnificent. The rum bar is inspired. The drinks are unmatched in their depth and complexity. The staff is accommodating, thoughtful, and so friendly. At one point our toddler ran off from the table. Before we could retrieve her, one of the wonderful staff had corralled ... Read more

This was our 4th stop/lodge in Belize. We started up north and made our way south. Belcampo was by far my favourite place, and made my holiday! I have forgotten the names of the various staff, we loved everybody. We were collected by such a lovely guy at the airport. Everyone was so friendly and still professional. We were in the ridge suite, 4 suites separate to the main lodge, which share a beautiful pool up at the top of the mountain. Its private, secluded, has one of the most perfectly place... Read more

All i can say! My family LOVED everything about our visit to Belcampo. You truly feel like you are in another world after flying to the end of the air taxi line. The resort itself is stunning, lush, and expansive. We loved the variety of activities available right on property, and having access to so many unique guided activities off-property made it easy to explore. The food was incredible! One of our favorite activities was going out into the jungle and chopping down a heart of palm t... Read more
