I had a wonderful stay at La Beliza! The condos are clean, modern and offer great views of the beach. The staff is professional, courteous and attentive to the needs of guests. If you want to get away to relax and rejuvenate your spirit, this is the place.

Being 8 or so miles from town, La Beliza is not in the heart of things. Which overall is good--who wants bustle on their beach vacation? The rooms (actually condos rented to tourists by their owners) are big, well-maintained, and have lovely balconies. Some directly face the sea, others are a bit set back. There are few services at the resort, wifi near the office only, no phones (arguably a plus, also), but a friendly and helpful staff. There are sea kayaks you can borrow for free (though l... Beautiful hotel/grounds with awesome rooms. The staff is incredible and very accommodating. The hotel is further north on the island, but the water taxi is a great way to get around. If you are looking for a relaxing and a peaceful retreat, La Beliza is the perfect fit!

Let me start this off by saying we came to la beliza last year and loved it so much we came back this year. Of course Roberto and Andre made sure this trip was amazing , they set us up on different activities so we could enjoy the island in different ways from the prior year. From the moment we stepped on the docs to the second we left we were speechless. The amount of effort that they go through to make sure everything guests experience is amazing is rare to find. They are truly caring people. ... Read more

Very nice resort, The suites are incredible!! It is a distance away from town but it is definetly worth it. The staff is amazing and the food is to die for. Very quiet. A great place for people to get a way for all the craziness. Beautiful place you will love it đ???đ??˝đ???đ??˝

Did not stay there. Had lunch on a Sunday. Lovely gardens, pretty view, nice pool for a dip while food was being prepared. Nice bartender. Truly wretched food at a fairly high price. Rooms may be nice.... But in this location you'd probably need to depend on the resort kitchen. I cannot imagine a second meal there, much less a whole vacations worth of food.

My wife and I stayed at La Beliza Resort from July 8th - July 13th, 2016. Our stay was simply amazing, relaxing, and refreshing!!! While we donâ??t know how many guests were actually registered when we stayed, there were only a handful seen at one time. My wife and I have been to the â??mega resortsâ?? with the loud pool bar and music and La Beliza, by far Is Not! Frankly, we were extremely happy with simple serenity. The pool area and beach were clean, intimate and exhilarating. I looked around... Read more

We were glad to see that the owners of Island Time Bar have taken over the restaurant of La Beliza. Their good quality food and drinks at a reasonable price can now be had north of town. Well worth the visit!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at La Beliza for 5 nights and 6 days. Upon arriving at the â??resortâ?? we found the place surrounded by trash. The back entrance to the resort (from the road north) was home to several old tires, debris, an old trailer, etc. The smell was pretty nasty. The front of the â??resortâ?? (the beach & pool area) was only slightly better. The sand looked like it hadnâ??t been cleaned or raked in months. The cabanas I had seen in other peoples reviews were nowhere to ... Read more

Let me start off by saying that this was my first time to visit San Pedro so I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival at the resort I was blown away with the beauty of it. The grounds were exceptional. We were greeted by the staff with a rum punch ! My family and I stayed in a 2b/2ba . The rooms were spotless , the ac was a lifesaver and the kitchen was amazing ! The best part was getting to know the staff. Our chef/bartender roger was amazing! He made us the best drinks and his food was delic... Read more

Accommodations were spacious and well maintained. Staff was very efficient and helpful. bar service and food was great. Well away from town, but close enough to reach by golf cart. Road is paved up to Belizean Shores, after that it is a dirt road that is in good shape.

My wife and I visited La Beliza for our 23rd anniversary in October. We had a great time. The resort is clean and well maintained. The food is pretty good. We don't drink, so can't comment on the bar. The people working there were all super. Very nice and very willing to help out. The location is quite far from San Pedro, so expect to spend $14 per person to ride the boat into town each way, or pay $50 round trip for a bumpy taxi ride. There were a few reasons why I didn't give this pl... Read more

We stayed at La Beliza for an 11 day honeymoon in the beginning of October. For the first week, it felt like we had our own little resort! We got a golf cart for a deal in the city from a friend and loved having the option to go into the city for the day or sit on the beach at the resort. Dionna was able to book our two excursions directly and we got lower prices than quoted. The staff was very friendly! Our housekeeper kept the place looking like new everyday. The only thing that wasn't ideal... Read more

The resort is nice, The units are privately owned but rented out by the management team. We were there during low season so it was pretty quiet. The mosquitoes and black sand flies were BRUTAL. We couldn't even sit at the outside bar, even with DEET on. The restaurant is tiny and we were the only ones in there on teh 2 nights we ate there - since the units are all efficiencies I guess people mostly cook in their units. It's a 30 minute golf cart ride to town so you need to rent a golf cart ... Read more

We stayed in at La Beliza during the first week of November. Our two bedroom condo was very spacious and comfortable. We brought food with us to stock the spacious kitchen. Jackie, Chris, Roger, Susie, and the all the other employees we encountered were extremely friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Since there were not many other guests staying at the resort during our stay, we found that it was easiest to let staff know when we were planning to eat meals there. They very willingly delivered th... Read more

La Beliza was a dream. It is about a 45 minutes golf cart ride outside of San Pedro proper, so you really get to see some of the island (some tourist driven and some real life, unscripted.) We definitely recommend getting a golf cart for at least a day excursion (more if youâ??re into the bar scene in town) La Beliza was quiet when we wentâ??it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves during the week which was great for usâ??peace and quiet was just what we had planned! Overall, La Beliza was a great experience. Roger (the bar tender/cook) is amazing and extremely welcoming. La Beliza is more of a boutique hotel than a resort. All of the units are condos that are rented out. We got our reservation through groupon as it was a great deal for what we got. I don't think I would pay full price though for the resort. The only issue we had while staying there is that they have cut staff so after the hurricane, they haven't been able to clean up the beach and resort as... Read more
